>movie's out >barely any fanfare
I fricking hate this board sometimes. Anyway, the movie was good. Much funnier than most current adult animation. The animation was rough, there were shots that looked like pitch perfect modernization but others crippled with tweens. I can give it leeway since this definitely would've been lower budget but it was really jarring having all the extras look like they came from Bojack Horseman. My main gripe is they didn't go far enough with the sci-fi premise and it kind of fell into just being a rehash of Do America, just another road trip to score. Wholesome Beavis was the highlight, and him getting cucked by himself was a pitch perfect payoff. Overall it's definitely not as good as Do America, but Do America is kind of a masterpiece so I wasn't expecting it to be. It still has soul, and I'm excited for the new run of episodes
americans were still sleeping or working when it hit the web, and they still are, as do most europoors. wait for some hours or tomorrow to see the reactions, my good man. no one's seen it yet (no one with a life that is)
>"I'm going to lose my shit and sperg at people enjoying something" >"They're LAUGHING at me?? Well clearly they have no argument and I'm smarter than them"
For the record I was born after the show ended. I have no nostalgia and I still choose to watch this over most new IPs because most new IPs are trash. The real cancer in this industry are entitled crying little shitlets like you. Cry more.
Pretty good summary: the cuck twist was pretty damn funny and everything felt in character. This was animated by Titmouse which is why most the extras look like they’re from Metalocalypse.
Daria won't be in the Jodie movie at all (was previously going to be a full show, isn't anymore) so there isn't any conflict of interest in her appearing
The character designs of the Daria spin-off, including Daria herself, would look weird next to Beavis and Butthead I think. The styles are just different.
I wish Judge had leaned into the original characters more. They were severely underutilized and the science fair scene was classic B&B. Glad Van Driessden made an appearance
>Beavis always thought Todd was cool >Now in his dream he's acknowledging Todd was always a frickhead and envisions him getting murdered
This is going to sound weird but Beavis had a frickload of character development in this thing.
The power of love mang…
I was honestly surprised by the character development in this. Beavis hardly talked in the series and constantly got the short end of the stick. And in this he has more dialogue and halfway stands up for himself.
Same with Butthead. Throughout the movie he's treating Beavis like ass, which he does normally, but they usually make up after a quick round of porn and whatnot. Here though? They break off the friendship for REAL at one point. But later in the night, Butthead sees two kids fighting in a similar fashion to how B&B would, and actually starts to regret it. When they get kidnapped, they laugh at Serena saying "ate ass" unintentionally, and by the time they get to the green car, B&B soon realize they do legitimately rely on one another.
Seeing Butt-Head do an actual sad frown looked weird as frick. I think the only time they ever did that before was in the 2011 season where it was more exaggerated because it was a reaction to some karate instructor driving his foot square into his nuts.

I lose my shit every time Butt-Head's eyes enlarge. Sometimes you just can't beat the classics.
It was fun. For whatever reason I thought it was going to be more sci-fi and less "here's something to set up the new season," but having it that way was neat. Seeing the few people sperg over the "we've got white privilege" screenshots an hour before I got a torrent was probably as enjoyable as the movie though.
Watching the episodes available on Paramount+… when will all 200 episodes be uploaded there so someone can make a proper rip of the series? >https://screenrant.com/beavis-butthead-original-episodes-remastered-music-videos-restored/
Probably has to do with licensing surrounding the music segments, and the fact that they wanna put out a remastered version, which requires pulling out cels from over 25 years ago.
>which requires pulling out cels from over 25 years ago.
That's not how remastering is done, cels take up a lot of space and are often sold off as curios, or discarded. What they would do is to either scan it from an original film transfer, or if that's not available use the original broadcast tapes.
Right now I’m only seeing like 7 90s eps available with videos, don’t know if the release was botched or if the intent is to slowly add more or what
The app does have a reputation for being glitchy so possible the index is still catching up
The video quality is fine, still obviously from tape but they’ve just deinterlaced it properly and otherwise left it untouched. I’ll take that over excessive filtering
Not even comparable, it doesn't even match up to the already digitally colored 2011 revival season.
I would guess a main reason they switched to a puppet rigged pipeline is partially so that the reaction segments in the new episodes can be turned around quicker and be more timely but it could just be Paramount being cheap too
The writing stayed true to the characters, just didn’t like how all the secondary characters looked like Metalocalypse extras.
It’s interesting how much more Beavis spoke than the 90s series though
It's pretty bad; like maybe metalocalypse tier but without the cool set pieces that show had.
It's kind of one of those hoodwinked situations where the writing is genuinely good & saves the thing but the movie itself looks like ass.
None at all, just look at this video https://youtu.be/yIeP4_f-ZkQ specially at the 1:40 mark, this is completely high quality animation, its beautiful, we cant possibly have this on a regular basis nowadays, at least not on western animation
I want to think that tracking spin shot on the dance floor is a direct shot at beauty and the beast. It feels like the same swoop and angles and shit that it was making fun of B&B and B&tB.
I think it’s funny they made the villain a chick and her lackey an effeminate white male.
Also there’s more character development between B&B in this than there ever was during the series lol Beavis actually stands up for himself
You're correct, Paramount doesn't really do streaming original movies that feel like actual movies the way Netflix does. They're very firmly "TV movies", think of it more like an anniversary special. Even the end credits are on slides like at the end of a TV cartoon rather than being scrolling.
It's written by Mike Judge still so the understanding of the characters is at least firmly there.
That's great to hear. Definitely wasn't expecting TOO much, I actually watched the trailer for the first time yesterday.
Pretty stoked to watch this, but It's shame that a plot like this is put into a "TV movie" considering the other movie is so good.
I really hope that the look of the show is just for this movie. Zero reason why the reboot should look worse than the 2011 season during peak Jersey Shore MTV.
I love everything Beavis and Butthead so I've been looking forward to this. Honestly Mike Judge and Genndy are probably the only animators I have any faith left in these days-the rest are either blacklisted or gave in to the ESG nonsense
The fact they put up less than 10 random 90s episodes is a pretty concerning sign for how they're intending to handle it
They only even put up a couple eps from the 2011 season which has always been available for digital purchase and is complete in broadcast form on the Blu-ray
I hope we at least get a schedule eventually, if they do the new season weekly then maybe a new batch alongside each one? But I'm not holding my breath that what they're intending to do will make any sense
Just watched it, was pretty disappointing. It was basically a rehash of Do America but vastly inferior in every way. The animation was flat and cheap, the soundtrack was uninspiring, the plot was just one contrivance after another, and they seemed to spend as much time explaining the damn joke as telling it. I was curious if this was written and directed by people who weren't even born when the show originally aired and Mike Judge was only there for voicework, but no, Judge was the only writer and director. The hell happened, was he just phoning it in for a paycheck?
It’s a decent movie IMO but the only reason this movie is even anything like the 90s series is because Judge co-wrote it, which could explain why it’s a rehash of Do America
Two other people directed it and four are credited to the story.
>Reviews keep saying it takes place after Do America >It isn't referenced in any way
I was hoping it would start with a zoom-in on Anderson's tool shed and a very satisfied Beavis walking out with that happy sigh he does.
In the 2011 season, Beavis talks about his youth councilor giving him something to drink and warning him about his butt hurting later. And it did.
Beavis scored, kind of.
They aren't really remastered, they just look like a basic tape transfer. They don't have significant problems but they didn't do much to clean them up or filter them either (which is kind of a relief, considering they could've gotten really fricked up that way). And there's only a few right now anyway, Paramount is slowly dripfeeding them over the year instead of all 200+ at once like early articles claimed
The only "remastered" episodes up are one ep from season 4 and six from season 7
I would call them more "restored", as they do accurately represent the source material as originally aired. They don't try to enhance them in any way, they just did the bare minimum to make the tapes available for modern viewing without interlacing problems
I don't know what those are because i'm not a zoomer who doesn't know how to use torrents but just download the King Turd collection if you want the episodes as originally broadcast
The Paramount versions will be better assuming they don't censor anything or cut music vids for copyright reasons. But there's barely any they've posted at this point
It's all we've had, the fact the original broadcasts are entirely preserved when over half the series hasn't had any home media release at all up until this point is a miracle in and of itself.
The question now is in how long Paramount will stretch the rollout for and if they'll actually include everything

>It's all we've had
not really. theres plenty on dvd and the turd collection either uses none of them or theyre all encoded in xvid and look like ancient dogshit.

The original King Turd mpeg2 DVD encodes (which you can get x264 versions of) don’t use XVID sources for Mike Judge Collection clips, and it *does* use all of them that exist, and it’s quite noticeable when they show up. It’s just that less than half of the series are represented there
it's definitely easier if you have access to a private tracker like Myspleen but this seems alive

MySpleen is actually a very oldschool private tracker online since '04 that's focused on cartoons, comedy, cult TV, lost media, fanedits, and anything out of print physically
They haven't had invites for new users in years because they've meant to transition the site to a more modern backend platform but it's been very slow moving
Beavis and Butthead were like what old Cinemaphile was. It was like the 90's attitude given life as a cartoon. Everything is fricked and everything sucks so we might as well laugh, eat nachos, and watch music videos.
It's the difference between falling into despair when you realize nothing matters, or not acting like a pussy and living your life anyway because frick it, why not.
hands down this was one of the best scenes. >do you know how few people have done what you’re about to do? >uhm no >only 256 men and 49 women. >uh that’s a lil more than I was hoping but y’know that’s okay >from 16 different countries, ranging in age from 28 to 77 >jesus christ, we get it
Yeah, I actually really liked that they took the sexual euphemism gag from the old lady in America and just dragged it out that long. The White Privilege joke was good. I liked Serena as a character as well as a villain - like you kinda couldn't fault her for anything she did; it was a good stand-in of what most people would do to an actual Beavis and Butthead if they had the power.
Unfortunately, I felt like the other jokes kinda fell flat. The Star Wars opening lacked the appeal of the Shaft opening. I really didn't like the agent obsessed with dissection it was too much like the agent obsessed with cavity searches.
Hearing Beavis use "Jesus Christ" and "Christ" as expletives caught me off guard and I laughed even harder because of it.
Lotta more vulgar than usual language than the series has ever had in this movie though. Shitting, dickheads, butthole... weird that B&B is tame enough by today's standards that it sticks out that much.
I just downloaded a random episode to test it against the King Turd versions, other than Cowtipping which was already posted.
Putting aside the objective superiority of having both a larger picture (1440x1080 vs 480x360) and subtitles, what's up with this weird pixel shit on the letter T?
it was okay, animation was pretty rough and looked worse than the 2011 reboot, but its difficult to make Beavis and Butthead themselves unlikeable or unenjoyable so i still laughed a lot. the science fair part with Butthead kicking Beavis in the nuts repeatedly for a minute straight and then having him stand in front of mechanical kicker and Beavis just asking "you're not gonna kick me in the nuts again or anything" made me lol off the bat
So if they had actually got to score with Serena at the end, would that technically have made all involved rapists?
Statutory rape on Serena's part because B&B are like 14 or 15 at most and then because Serena would have been coerced into it as an act of extortion in exchange for their silence, B&B would've technically been rapists too.
One of those cases where you really can say, "It's just a silly cartoon." Can you recall how many times Stewie's been paired up with an adult partner for a quick gag? This is why it's such a relief that the whole ordeal was conveniently resolved with Smart Beavis butting in.
I feel like the age thing is a largely untouched upon aspect of a lot of stories about teen boys trying to get laid and while it's funny to see them fail it's also a bit too messy of a situation morally/legally both in universe and for the audience to see them succeed as muxj as you might be rooting for those characters, which is probably why outside of a few rare and often animated cases like B&B, Morty from Rick and Morty or Steve from American Dad, you don't really see it a lot anymore.
The ratings system is a gatekeeper to when and where your show can be put in front of an audience. Based on my entire experience of television it seems clear the line is drawn right at whether it is explicitly expressed by the show whether the underaged male SUCCEEDS at it or not. And every bit of innuendo short of success is acceptable to put your show on TV although depending on how much innuendo there is it will restrict the timeslot, at least that's how it seems in America what with the difference between "late night" programming and everything else.
It's untouched, and I don't mean the graphic explicit act but the mere assertion "We scored", because you just cannot cross that line, you cannot say it happens. I think the only way they were able to allow Smart Beavis to get away with it was because they could argue that Smart Beavis was older and I think they could only justify that BECAUSE of the inclusion of Queen Beavis and King Butthead being shown as explicitly older versions of the boys.
I think it makes sense that that's where American censors draw the line. It's a compromise between the reality that it happens but you don't want to explore it in fiction because you really don't want fiction to be an educating force here. That being said, there isn't a whole lot of good education in America for teenagers on sex but I think it's a good thing media isn't allowed to perform that role.
That wasn't really Morty, though. The whole point of that episode was that you can't just remove your perceived toxic traits. You gotta deal with them head-on, which Morty clearly seems to be doing if his more assertive behavior in the latest episodes is of any indication. But I def would've stayed in Wall Street with Jacquelyn if sci-fi worked to my advantage and I weren't bound by the status quo or a narrative moral.
>What if the woman who attempted to kill two high schoolers to survive, then when she found out she hadn't killed them, immediately decided she needed to kill them to cover up her political career was GUILTY OF STATUTORY!?
and also >Beavis and Butt-head can't consent because we aren't sure if they want to score or not
Not the same anon but the latter half of that isn't how the consent shit works legally if they're underage. Sure, we know Beavis and Butt-Head both wanna frick her, but the law would still deem them not mentally or emotionally mature enough to make that call for themselves with someone as old as Serena
You're fricking moronic man. So basically you think two 15 year old morons who rape a MILF can't be held accountable nor can they consent if she wanted to bang them. God sakes you're stupid
I'm not saying they can't just to be clear I'm talking about the moronic technicalities of the law depending on where you live. Even if they were 100% on board which we know they are, legally speaking their age would automatically negate that.
Yeah, statuatory rape (which isn't the legal term the law uses but more a umbrella term to mean the same thing across various jurisdictions) applies even if the underaged individual is willing. If the participant is below the age of consent it's statuatory rape. Period.
It makes sense. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

Yep. Anyone seriously offended by this topic of discussion is a pedophile, simple as. No one here is saying the show shouldn't put the boys in these types of situations. Beavis and Butt-Head is a very outlandish cartoon. We all know practically every teenage boy is chronically horny, and it's hilarious trying to see B&B try and hopelessly fail to score. But it's still an interesting thing to think about, especially in Do the Universe's case, where our underage heroes came their closest to finally fulfilling their life's mission. It's an elaborate cat-and-mouse-type premise that's always funny to see play out. Plus it occasionally gives us some decent waifus along the way.
>Beavis and Butt-head can't consent
This is the most moronic take yet. That's all they've ever wanted was to score. Frick I hate zoomers. GTFO this isn't for you safe space dwelling homosexuals
>B&B are like 14 or 15
I wonder how this would end up ruling since they came from 1998 and there aren't any laws taking time travel into account. Would they still be considered their actual age or would the 24 year time gap be taken into consideration? Fun thing to think about
I would still consider Season 8 canon since they never outright say what year it is, and even for the time, they were spoofing shit from many years prior and acting like it was a brand new thing in-universe. Remember when they did oh-so-timely takes on Supersize Me, Dog the Bounty Hunter or the No Child Left Behind act?
Hell even some of the music videos were pretty damn old by the time of Season 8 like MGMT's "Kids" or Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction".
It's easier to just headcanon it as shit that was still happening to them in the late 90s rather than being in direct correlation with our own real life timeline. It's not like there was a ton of super out there technological advancements being pushed on them in that season either so there's nothing in Do The Universe to much contradict that. The most up to date piece of tech they made reference to was the PS2 in that Drones episode where they mention GTA San Andreas.
I honestly just don't think about it much, unless you want to use this movies multi-verse thing as them having a universe where its the same as the main one, only they never traveled to space.
The 2011 show just made it a sliding timeline and acted like nothing changed (while still being firmly set in 2011) and it worked fine.
The AV Club review tried to argue that B&B needed to be fish out of water 90s kids for their antics to still be fun because the equivalent today are eight chan nazi school shooters, which is… a take
Maybe I do prefer them being time warped into the future honestly, some of the best interactions from the movie was them playing catch up with siri and white privilege
true, hell I'm sure the principle is senile by now. Really hard to choose here, maybe some characters have kids or something that grew up but share some characteristics, its been 24 years.
Overall, It was alright.
It had its moments here and there.
I wasn't sure if I wanted more "Characters from times before interact with modern times" situations, but the ones that were there were alright. White privilege had me rolling. And the way Beavis goes "Jesus christ!" in response to how he precieved Serina to have had scored with all those men and women and a dog and a monkey was golden.
Do America is still leagues better.
I was iffy on the movie at first but it really grew on me. Got used to the animation after a while but the car chase at the end looked like crap. I genuinely laughed out loud and was mostly smiling the whole time. Anyone have a screenshot of all the different universe Beavis and Buttheads? Also when will the series happen (if it does at all...)
Dying at John Conner Beavis. Saw the Butthead Terminator during the movie, but not him. Also it's fun to think some of those advanced alien pairs may be rivals to the ones we met. They should return in the future, like B&B's Great Gazoos. We should meet more of them in general. Not saying the series or subsequent movies should be all Rick and Morty hijinks, but every once in a while.
The B&Bs would win. Through some misunderstanding they would unknowingly make the Ricks believe there are moles within their ranks and make them kill each other to snuff them out.
I wanted to add that I'm really happy they handled them being in 2022 pretty well. It's so easy to fall back on the "omg starbucks on every corner" type of humor. That was my biggest concern when I saw the plot.
Man, Do The Universe really lacks in the soundtrack department compared to Do America. I have that rap song from the montage of them buying a shitload of nachos but can barely remember any other songs in it.
>subverts audience expectations in 2022 without coming off as a shell of its former self
Genuinely impressed given how business moronic Viacom/Paramount is these days.
For a long time yes. >Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have been positing a reboot show since as early as 2017, it wasn't until early 2021 that “King of the Hill” writer Brent Forrester divulged they were in "hot negotiations" to officially resurrect the show. When it was reported earlier this month that their new animation company Bandera Entertainment had several projects in development, including a King of the Hill revival, reactions were overwhelmingly positive — Daniels was able to chat shortly after the news broke about the status of more Hill stories.
Normally I'd be against bringing a beloved show back from the dead--especially when it had a pretty lengthy run already--but I'll put my faith in Mike Judge.
It really reeks of bad faith when they announce the revival like this and DiMaggio was still in negotiations lmao.
While the issue with B&B’s new movie was the animation over writing, Futurama will have issues with writing over animation, assuming they still hand draw it
2 years ago
Anonymous
Dude that shit hasn't been hand drawn since it moved to Comedy Central and they had to cut back their music and writing budget severely just to afford the voice actors.
The fact that John DiMaggio tried to hold out for more money is the least surprising shit.
As long as Mike is behind it i think it'll be atleast okay in this climate. The new BnBH movie wasn't quite as good as DA but it was pretty damn enjoyable. Managed to make fun of woke shit just enough well staying in its own lane and implementing new technology/customs/focuses.
Yeah, you got it.
Judge wouldn’t allow his favorite series to get butchered. He has integrity and a solid track record for 30+ years.
Imagine this coming out with no involvement from the creator and having his voice recast. Would be shit guaranteed
You know, usually there's some convenient sign of someone not being dead when B&B causing accidents and getting people hurt but holy shit, that space station scene actually had corpses on screen
Beavis and Butthead now have an official body count and not in terms of sex
>but there was no confirmation of fatalities
That might be due to censorship at the time and not wanting their movie rated R in theaters. "Worst traffic accident in history" heavily implies some causalities lol

I can see why some people like the commentary sections over the actual story, it's funny as frick even 11 years later.
I'm guessing it didn't get renewed because of low ratings since it was on MTV instead of CC?
Beavis and Butthead was simply too smart for MTV's current audience to get
Read that sentence again and really feel the overwhelming dread at what our society has been reduced to

The majority of MTV's audience was never smart (hence why Beavis and Butthead were parodies off their audience). B&B in 2011 just didn't jive because it was a show that was off the air for roughly 14 years at that point and the music world and pop culture had changed drastically since then where these two metalheads just don't particularly blend with. Majority of the people watching MTV were either infants/toddlers or not even born when the series ended in 1997 and many of the people bothering to watch the show were now into their 20's, 30's or even 40s at the time. This show was hitting above a million views each new episode which is pretty good for ratings, but MTV had absurdly high expectations that it didn't hit.
Probably the only thing that really ended up disappointing me. I wanted to see a grown up Stewart react to Beavis & Butthead still being alive. Hopefully if they get a new show and it does take place in 2022 we'll get to see the aged up cast.
Best I could do, posted it on plusCinemaphile because the file was too large for Cinemaphile Prime.
https://boards.plusCinemaphile/co/t437140.html#p443000
jesus, how many of these are references? I can spot:
- spiderman/woman (top row, half cut off)
- Terminator & John Connor (right middle)
- Geordi and Kirk from Star Trek (middle)
- Leia & Luke from Star Wars (bottom left 2nd in)
- Oa Guardians from Green Lantern (bottom right)
- Uatu/Watchers from Marvel comics (bottom right and center top)
- Clint Eastwood and maybe Terence Hill(?) from western flicks, (top left, 2nd in)
There's at least one or two from Star Trek, plus there's a bunch I recognize but don't remember where they are from like the hipster buttholes on the top center (Steve Jobs?) or the male strippers on the bottom right. Wizards on top left are probably Gandalf.
The whole bit about Serena fricking hundreds of people, a dog, etc, was gold. Beavis' reactions were hilarious >Well, that is more than I would have hoped for >Jesus Christ
>lesbians identify with two gross, moronic and crude no life wiggers
Makes sense to be honest
Or knowing that there exist women who unironically want to frick nerdy boys and gross guys, there's probably a shit ton today who unironically want to score with Beavis and/or Butthead. Hell, even the Christmas special pretty much confirms it:
I feel like the obsession with Beavis is the whole >I can fix him
thing at work since it's been shown multiple times that Beavis just does what he's told and with Butthead's influence ends up a really good guy working at soup kitchens with Stewart
I enjoyed the movie overall as a B&B fan, but also felt it was just a little bit boring. I hope the actual new series is better, this felt more like a watered-down Do America than anything else. It fell into the trap that most thought the original film would: it felt like an overly long episode of the show
It always felt to me that while Butthead had marginally more intelligence (like he's better at reading for example), Beavis had marginally more common sense, lije in Do America when he questions the wisdom of jumping out of a car travelling at highway speeds.
>repulsive to females
Well, it should be. They have likely been taught that boys are moronic and on a basic biological level understand that those who act moronic should be avoided. A woman who claims to like Beavis and Butthead is probably a liar or derranged, I have told women numerous times that they are absolutely correct in thinking Beavis and Butthead are stupid but men use them as a universal icon of bonding. Even tomboys should be, at best, impartial about Beavis and Butthead.
In all seriousness, Beavis and Butthead should be utterly repulsive to everyone including men. It celebrates being moronic and let's be honest nobody was thinking about sharp social commentary when they were laughing at it we were just laughing at moronic people, like a percursor to Jackass. Women rightfully should be repulsed by Jackass too.
Beavis and Butthead were carried by their meme. It was the combination of their ability to infuriate people who took life a bit too seriously and their laugh was like some kind of rallying call for all men.
Talking about this movie in public we started doing the laugh and some 40-50 year old guy walking by joined in and his wife was half-laughing and half telling him to "shut the frick up OMG"
I genuinely felt like Beavis and Butthead could have been used to bridge generations together kinda like how music sometimes can. Except more universal. I kinda felt like Pokemon could have done the same. But nobody in charge of the brands made anything to ensure that was the case.
Uhhh, you're not gonna score. You're not gonna do anything. You're just gonna sit there for the rest of your life, spanking your monkey.
Ahuhuhuhuhuhhh... You said 'knot.'
>Ahuhuhuhuhuhhh... You said 'knot.'
Heheh
heh

>no
is it out yet lads?
Think it’s coming out 3am EST. They just played a rerun from the Mike Judge Collection on Comedy Central
Seeing a symbol of modern idpol next to a classic toon from the 90s is very tonally off putting.
Sticks out like a sore fricking thumb unfortunately. Comedy Central has only been South Park and Office reruns for a few years now
And another one after this South Park.
Rewatching Do America in anticipation
Chief, you know that guy whose camper they were whacking off in?
uuuuh your moms? uhuhuhuh
uhhhhhhh, shut up boco
>Chief, you know that guy whose camper they were whacking off in?
Don't you mean, "That guy off in whose camper they were whacking?"
No
Boco! You are federal agent. You represent the United States Government. Never end a sentence with a preposition!
lol
Sorry. "That guy off in whose camper they were whacking".
damn, Beavis is smooth...
Is that ZZ Top
No dumbass, it's Beavis.
Damn, he's smooth.
uh huhuhh oh yeah
stream when it comes out?
i tried streamin a movie a few months ago and was banned for 3 days
was very gay.
theres no paramount plus in my country is there a rip online yet
it doesn't come out for another hour
that sucks
Update: apparently it’s up now, I just started watching it on a free trial for paramount+ since it hasn’t hit torrenting sites yet
My only hope for the movie is that it isn't PC in the slightest. Family Guy is slowly losing its edge since Disney got a hold of it.
I'm more excited for the restoration of the classic episodes
qrd?
100% nothing cut?
Doubt it.
Hopefully it's time... they're at least 25 years removed from controversy at this point
It’s out fartknockers. Go watch!

>I want a Mega, not a virus.
You're actually a fricking moron
So they had to tween the 2D animation so much because they blew their budget on the opening Star Wars CGI parody.
>movie's out
>barely any fanfare
It still has soul, and I'm excited for the new run of episodes
americans were still sleeping or working when it hit the web, and they still are, as do most europoors. wait for some hours or tomorrow to see the reactions, my good man. no one's seen it yet (no one with a life that is)
because this shit was never good? frick off nostalgiagay, you're the cancer ruining any possibility of new IPs by supporting this trash
I hope you die
huhuhuhuh hey beavis, he said "i pee"
>no argument
>shut up, dumbass
>"I'm going to lose my shit and sperg at people enjoying something"
>"They're LAUGHING at me?? Well clearly they have no argument and I'm smarter than them"
For the record I was born after the show ended. I have no nostalgia and I still choose to watch this over most new IPs because most new IPs are trash. The real cancer in this industry are entitled crying little shitlets like you. Cry more.
>"Hey Butthead, this anon kicks ass!"
>For the record I was born after the show ended.
uh-huh-huh
I graduated high school before the first episode aired
shut up, Stewpid
>WAHHHH NO ONE WANTS MY CARTOON WAHHHH
uh, can you like shut up?
You're a stupid dumbass
You're never gonna score.
Go to bed, Seth.
uhuhuhuh, anon cried.
Pretty good summary: the cuck twist was pretty damn funny and everything felt in character. This was animated by Titmouse which is why most the extras look like they’re from Metalocalypse.
DIARRHEA CHA CHA CHA
None of these characters got to do anything in the movie 🙁
And probably we will see older versions of them, now that Beavis and Butt-head live in the now
What's Daria age supposed to be?
This part is still in the 90s so she’s the same age.
OMG DARIA
I was half expecting older versions of them to be in the future
I tend to agree
If Butthead doesn't sleep with Daria I'm going to lose it.
She doesn't look like OG Daria, she looks like neo-daria
Interestingly, her design seems to split the difference between her design on the show and her design on the spinoff.
Does this mean Mike Judge will be able to use her in the new season? I mean, he did created her, and she was a part of the show.
Daria won't be in the Jodie movie at all (was previously going to be a full show, isn't anymore) so there isn't any conflict of interest in her appearing
There's a chance, but the problem is if she is going to act like Daria before the spin-off or the Daria of the new series.
The character designs of the Daria spin-off, including Daria herself, would look weird next to Beavis and Butthead I think. The styles are just different.
>Does this mean Mike Judge will be able to use her in the new season?
With the way the movie ends with them in current year, probably not.
Maybe we'll see milf Daria
>Milf
>Implying Daria ever becomes anything other than a cat lady
Uses the solo-show design but the black jacket from her B&B design.
so are they just going to avoid these characters now or what?
mr anderson would be like 90
That's what I'm thinking. No way Anderson and McVicker are still alive and if they are they'll be senile as frick.
Also, I know it was just a dream sequence but RIP Todd.
I wish Judge had leaned into the original characters more. They were severely underutilized and the science fair scene was classic B&B. Glad Van Driessden made an appearance
I think the issue was they are going with a newer art style so having it just be Beavis and Butthead in the new time period makes that easier.
>Beavis always thought Todd was cool
>Now in his dream he's acknowledging Todd was always a frickhead and envisions him getting murdered
This is going to sound weird but Beavis had a frickload of character development in this thing.
The power of love mang…
I was honestly surprised by the character development in this. Beavis hardly talked in the series and constantly got the short end of the stick. And in this he has more dialogue and halfway stands up for himself.
i like how it really cements him as a wuss. his fantasy in comparison to butthead's is hilarious, beavis is a pure maiden. kinda.
The "It's a Wonderful Life" parody episode always said he'd be a good boy with the right influences.
Yeah, he was really out of character in this.
Based pic.
Frick Todd
>No scene where Principal McVicker sees Beavis and Butt-head after thinking they were dead for over 20 years
He's gotta be dead by now.
It was fun. For whatever reason I thought it was going to be more sci-fi and less "here's something to set up the new season," but having it that way was neat. Seeing the few people sperg over the "we've got white privilege" screenshots an hour before I got a torrent was probably as enjoyable as the movie though.
>"we've got white privilege"
I laughed so fricking hard I almost shit myself during that scene.
The cop car bit was what got me
hey everyone, beavis was crying
Told ya.
Watching the episode Crying as I saw this lmao
Shut up! *m-heh, m-heh* I was not...wait...HE IS!
ehuhuhu... what a baby
beavis and butthead if they real
They are real.
In my butt.
hehehehehehehhehehheheheh
Some really forgettable ABC teen sitcom from the 90s actually did a flawless Beavis and Butthead impression at the time.
His Beavis impersonation is spot on. Other guy didn’t even try with the Butthead voice tho
Damn it, Beavis.
And he was this close to finally scoring.
It's just not fair.
So, are they gonna show Daria or at least Stewart as adults in the new series?
Daria moved away, so I doubt we'll see her. There's a good chance for Steward though.
Also I think she'd be an adult or at least out of college.
>a depressed, out-of-college Daria who never scored because Tom
>probably hot now
maybe if he can get her va back?
Watching the episodes available on Paramount+… when will all 200 episodes be uploaded there so someone can make a proper rip of the series?
anyone know why paramount only has a handful of seasons/episodes? thought all of them were supposed to be released at once.
Probably has to do with licensing surrounding the music segments, and the fact that they wanna put out a remastered version, which requires pulling out cels from over 25 years ago.
>which requires pulling out cels from over 25 years ago
I hope they actually do this and we get high quality transfers.
>which requires pulling out cels from over 25 years ago.
That's not how remastering is done, cels take up a lot of space and are often sold off as curios, or discarded. What they would do is to either scan it from an original film transfer, or if that's not available use the original broadcast tapes.
Kinda wanna buy one and frame it honestly. Or a cel of another animation
one would think they'd fix the legalities beforehand yet here we are. fricking idiots
Don't have Paramount, how's the classic series restoration? Is it really all there?
Right now I’m only seeing like 7 90s eps available with videos, don’t know if the release was botched or if the intent is to slowly add more or what
The app does have a reputation for being glitchy so possible the index is still catching up
The video quality is fine, still obviously from tape but they’ve just deinterlaced it properly and otherwise left it untouched. I’ll take that over excessive filtering
It seems like there was some sort of technical gaffe with the release, hope it gets corrected soon
just torrent the king turd collection DVDs
that
was amazing
Spiderverse referenced!
How do the visuals hold up compared to Do America?
Not even comparable, it doesn't even match up to the already digitally colored 2011 revival season.
I would guess a main reason they switched to a puppet rigged pipeline is partially so that the reaction segments in the new episodes can be turned around quicker and be more timely but it could just be Paramount being cheap too
The animation looks weird, it just seems too digital. There's a car chase and the street passing by looks extremly shitty and lazily done.
The outlines are also too thick in some scenes.
They don't.
Eh
It's nice to see a new movie but I think most people are gonna be biased towards the old cel animation look of the series
Way worse. I liked the movie but it looks like a generic cheap netflix cartoon. Nowhere near as cinematic as Do America.
The writing stayed true to the characters, just didn’t like how all the secondary characters looked like Metalocalypse extras.
It’s interesting how much more Beavis spoke than the 90s series though
Do America was meant for theaters and looks like it. This was a Netflix-tier special and it looks like it. Doesn't take away from anything though.
It's pretty bad; like maybe metalocalypse tier but without the cool set pieces that show had.
It's kind of one of those hoodwinked situations where the writing is genuinely good & saves the thing but the movie itself looks like ass.
nothing will ever come close to 90s animation
>I scored
>I watched
I can see people on this site using that.
I'm going to assume that this movie doesn't really capture the "big movie feel" like the first one and The Simpsons Movie did. Is it alright at least?
It had me crying laughing couple times, it’s based and comfy.
Well, they need to kneel if they want those delicious paychecks Larry Flint gives to them
it sucked.
I dont have Paramount, where can i watch this?
It's on rarbg bunghole
you guys are so funny
It really is on rarbg you asswipe
There's a megalink in the thread, dumbass.
i know where the link is, it's in my butt uhuhuhuh
I just want him to be happy.
In the kind of show he's in? It just ain't happening.
Me too, man. I love my boy so much.
Paramount you bungholes… hope they start adding a remastered season a week or something
Best sequence of B&B ever coming through
Just watched it, was pretty disappointing.
Yes. Bro come on dont think too critically about this.
This really does say a lot if whether or not King of the Hill will get a movie or get rebooted in anyway.
Wasn't a KotH reboot already confirmed?
It’s a decent movie IMO but the only reason this movie is even anything like the 90s series is because Judge co-wrote it, which could explain why it’s a rehash of Do America
Two other people directed it and four are credited to the story.
>season 8 in 2011 implies a sort of floating timeline
>retconned to being 1998
jee I sure hope somebody was fired for that blunder
is there a torrent of the webrips of the episodes yet?
Yes, on RARBG as has been stated many times already.
There is also a mega link in this very thread if you had bothered to read it, buttmunch.
ass goblin
not of the episodes, they've barely even released any so probably no point in collecting and sharing them until there are complete seasons to rip
>Beavis' mother
Was she actually a bawd or was that just something Butthead said to piss off Beavis?
Beavis and Butt-Heads' moms let those roadies from Do America hit them. It's safe to say that they have low standards.
Just finished it. I seriously fricking thought they were going to score and that would lead in to the middle-aged episodes.
Shirley Beavis. I was genuinely surprised.
So Beavis is his family name?
that was always the case in the beavis and butthead books
here's your shirley beavis
Back then, I'd have considered that a way to NOT tell the reader their last names.
Beavis or his mom's name?
His mom's.
so do we actually learn their real names in this?
No, just that Beavis is his last name unless they pull a Mario Mario.
Earlier on when they're about to get on the ship, his last name is more than just "Beavis"
A reporter asks for an interview and says "Mr. Boothard" or something like that.
That's not uncommon, people got Butt-head's name wrong constantly during the show.
>Reviews keep saying it takes place after Do America
>It isn't referenced in any way
I was hoping it would start with a zoom-in on Anderson's tool shed and a very satisfied Beavis walking out with that happy sigh he does.
I guess some marketing blurb must have claimed it. It has no real canon surely, the 2011 season doesn't fit either
Really funny, didn't really like the animation style very much, it looked like Archer.
What if one of them got assraped?
In the 2011 season, Beavis talks about his youth councilor giving him something to drink and warning him about his butt hurting later. And it did.
Beavis scored, kind of.
Are there any side by side comparisons of the original episodes and the remastered versions?
They aren't really remastered, they just look like a basic tape transfer. They don't have significant problems but they didn't do much to clean them up or filter them either (which is kind of a relief, considering they could've gotten really fricked up that way). And there's only a few right now anyway, Paramount is slowly dripfeeding them over the year instead of all 200+ at once like early articles claimed
They all look like they're from the Mike Judge Collection honestly.
Any episodes in particular where they appear remastered?
The only "remastered" episodes up are one ep from season 4 and six from season 7
I would call them more "restored", as they do accurately represent the source material as originally aired. They don't try to enhance them in any way, they just did the bare minimum to make the tapes available for modern viewing without interlacing problems
Ah. Well is there still anything that's side by side? Before the announcement, I saw just going to watch the episodes from wcoforever or fmovies.
I don't know what those are because i'm not a zoomer who doesn't know how to use torrents but just download the King Turd collection if you want the episodes as originally broadcast
The Paramount versions will be better assuming they don't censor anything or cut music vids for copyright reasons. But there's barely any they've posted at this point
cant wait until people start comparing. the king turd collection is so garbage for some eps.
It’s just that less than half of the series are represented there
Seems good
I've wanted to get the King Turd collection for years but I just could never find torrents of it that weren't dead.
it's definitely easier if you have access to a private tracker like Myspleen but this seems alive
https://thepiratebay0.org/torrent/15701310/Beavis_and_Butt-Head_S1-7_King_Turd_MP4_RIP
I am a boomer. No idea what MySpleen is.
I downloaded that collection from a private torrent, CRT.
Some anon posted a Drive link that includes the whole KingTurd rip
That actually looks pretty good.
I just downloaded and watched this mega. It was good quality.

No thanks.

Beavis and Butthead were like what old Cinemaphile was. It was like the 90's attitude given life as a cartoon. Everything is fricked and everything sucks so we might as well laugh, eat nachos, and watch music videos.
It's the difference between falling into despair when you realize nothing matters, or not acting like a pussy and living your life anyway because frick it, why not.
hands down this was one of the best scenes.
>do you know how few people have done what you’re about to do?
>uhm no
>only 256 men and 49 women.
>uh that’s a lil more than I was hoping but y’know that’s okay
>from 16 different countries, ranging in age from 28 to 77
>jesus christ, we get it
What a bawd
>she’s a bawd, Beavis, an S, L… O… erhhh something, bawd
Yeah, I actually really liked that they took the sexual euphemism gag from the old lady in America and just dragged it out that long. The White Privilege joke was good. I liked Serena as a character as well as a villain - like you kinda couldn't fault her for anything she did; it was a good stand-in of what most people would do to an actual Beavis and Butthead if they had the power.
Unfortunately, I felt like the other jokes kinda fell flat. The Star Wars opening lacked the appeal of the Shaft opening. I really didn't like the agent obsessed with dissection it was too much like the agent obsessed with cavity searches.
>uh that’s a lil more than I was hoping but y’know that’s okay
Beavis is so pure. My favorite part as well.
The 2nd revival was made by Comedy Central, so it checks out
Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever heard Judge himself say "frick".
Even playing a character in his own live-action movies?
LINK WHERE
read the thread next time, dilweed.
alright fair I am drunk I'm sorry
It’s okay anon, me too… enjoy the movie
The raw pain in Beavis's voice here really got to me. I almost cried
Judge can do a great terrified/pained Beavis. Sounds really natural.
When the frick did this happen? Minimalism strikes again.
never forget what they took from you
Frick this is hilarious, i love the little dance
This was the one that did me in
Probably the only soulful logo change
>The ULULU Company
Wtf does it even mean?
It means The ULULU Company.
How long until Serena r34?
Hopefully not too long. That big nose/tooth gap combo puts her right up my alley.
Still would two decades later. That voice certainly helps.
Kinda sweet that Beavis is more in search of actual companionship with a woman.
>BUTT-HEAD: Yeah, he's not really my friend. He just, like, follows me around all the time.
>Butt-Head still makes his way into Beavis's Happily Ever After fantasy
I just want my boy to be happy...
uhuh uhuh uhuh
Looks like they based her character’s looks after her
Imagine doing that, for real, in space, with her
It would look much much better with thinner outlines. Other than that the animation was decent enough for a cheap modern streaming movie.

I just downloaded a random episode to test it against the King Turd versions, other than Cowtipping which was already posted.
Putting aside the objective superiority of having both a larger picture (1440x1080 vs 480x360) and subtitles, what's up with this weird pixel shit on the letter T?
>what's up with this weird pixel shit on the letter T?
It's called dot crawl kiddo, a typical analog video loss.
it was okay, animation was pretty rough and looked worse than the 2011 reboot, but its difficult to make Beavis and Butthead themselves unlikeable or unenjoyable so i still laughed a lot. the science fair part with Butthead kicking Beavis in the nuts repeatedly for a minute straight and then having him stand in front of mechanical kicker and Beavis just asking "you're not gonna kick me in the nuts again or anything" made me lol off the bat
So did I watch a bad rip or all prison stuff was a red herring?
The prison stuff happened, Anon.
It did? The rip I saw went from kicking in the nuts to being sent to space camp...
The prison scenes happen later when they’re already in the future.
The science fair scene was at the beginning and space camp followed after
Reminder that the Robot Chicken skit is canon
The one where Obama calls Beavis the Manchurian Candidate?
Yup, Beavis scored
The only that would’ve made that skit better is if Judge himself voiced the boys
What tf are you on about?
YO MAMA~
it was kino.
It IS Kino and will continue to be for years to come.
The space scenes in this movie somehow manage to make earth look comfy and space look cool as shit.
It made me go pick up KSP again

Well I understand why gen X is so fricking moronic
Unironically true. Based Gen X.
Also, check your privelege, white boy.
yes
Off topic but fricking status quo. Morty has a girl 10x better than Jessica and just dropped her like a hot potato.
Politicians are all rapists and b&b would rape if they weren't so moronic
>What if the woman who attempted to kill two high schoolers to survive, then when she found out she hadn't killed them, immediately decided she needed to kill them to cover up her political career was GUILTY OF STATUTORY!?
and also
>Beavis and Butt-head can't consent because we aren't sure if they want to score or not
Not the same anon but the latter half of that isn't how the consent shit works legally if they're underage.
Plus it occasionally gives us some decent waifus along the way.
hah, you said 'came.'
Shut up butt munch.
Fun thing to think about
So I assume they never aged them up during the tv series?
Nope not during the original or for the 2011 one, though I guess with this movie the 2011 one isn't canon anyway
The most up to date piece of tech they made reference to was the PS2 in that Drones episode where they mention GTA San Andreas.
but how did obama become president in 1998
Why was Serena the Governor of Texas and not Greg Abbott? The answer genuinely has to be don't think about it too much.
I honestly just don't think about it much, unless you want to use this movies multi-verse thing as them having a universe where its the same as the main one, only they never traveled to space.
>tfw they never met again
>You find your soulmate
>Your circumstances prevent major interaction
>Never see them again
It happens to the best people, that's the worst part.
He said "mate"
think again
this exact situation happened to me two years ago and i think about it every day
Guess again. If pic related is really them, then they became bawds.
Make up your mind, who tf are they?
The black haired chick looks like Janet from Three's Company lol
>fursona
>cringe
>low-key
>gremlin-core
why the frick are zoomers so adamant on using such moronic language?
Not like we had it any better
To be honest, I'd rather have "cool" and "sucks" over "based" and "cringe" any day.
Both "cool" and "sucks" are really long-lived slang terms, I barely even think of them as such.
uh huhuh cool
>funk starting in the 80s
>hip hop and techno starting in the mid 90s
prob just due to lack of space but damn thats bad
Yeah I was trying to rationalize it as "Well maybe it means when it first crossed over to be fully mainstream", but funk was doing that in the 70s.
>Beatles isn't Anglo
Cool.
Based (agreeable)
We already got female versions of Beavis and Butthead though:
this felt like a convoluted unnecessary explanation for why beavis and butthead are in modern times
But then all other characters are aged up as well.
true, hell I'm sure the principle is senile by now. Really hard to choose here, maybe some characters have kids or something that grew up but share some characteristics, its been 24 years.
same episode?
it's from virtual stupidity, they play a role in it
There's also an episode where those two invite the boys to make out with them under the bleachers at a lame teen-talk program.
that was e-girlta and tanqueray, separate girls
Weren't those the girls that asked them to make out and then chose other boys since B&B were to slow to react?
I think it makes the most sense to look at it as Judge just realizing he had a different angle to go at it from that he had plenty to joke about
Yes
Cant wait for a cartoon about two guys standing still in the same room like theyre youtube critics doing a collab
Just finished, laughed a bunch. Judge has still got it, real talented dude.
Uh like this wizard told us we’re in the multiverse now
Texan here. Lieutenant governor actually has more power than the governor in Texas.
I feel like Mike Judge probably knows a thing or two about Texas and there's a satirical reaason for the depiction
Amusing yes. Satirical commentary.
Very mirthful, yes.
>droll
It’s like they were just reading a list of synonyms
Indeed, quite jocular.
I read into this and apparently it’s true. The state gives an unusual amount of power to the lieutenant
August.
Which is your guys favorites? Mine are Buttvis and Beavhead
That was the first pair I noticed also kek. hilarious and random as hell
>Which is your guys favorites?
These two urbane aesthetes
Agree, I really like that Beavis
Honestly they are almost attractive. Almost.
>Cinemaphile
Dammit, now we need Beavises and Buttheads for every board
That Beavis would score.
Those two. Nobody can tell me they never scored.
They still must be ugly for their standards.
smart beavis is the only one of all of these who ever scored
Demon Beavis and Butthead
kinda reminds me of the peyote sequence in the first movie
Thank you lad.
I laughed so hard when I saw them and couldn't focus on anyone else
Dying at John Conner Beavis. Saw the Butthead Terminator during the movie, but not him. Also it's fun to think some of those advanced alien pairs may be rivals to the ones we met. They should return in the future, like B&B's Great Gazoos. We should meet more of them in general. Not saying the series or subsequent movies should be all Rick and Morty hijinks, but every once in a while.
i can't believe mushroom beavis and mushroom butthead never spored.
Too late.
How would they fare if they waged a war against the Citadel of Ricks
They will lose unless the smart ones did all the job.
The B&Bs would win. Through some misunderstanding they would unknowingly make the Ricks believe there are moles within their ranks and make them kill each other to snuff them out.
This, tee bee aych.
B&B are so incredibly stupid they wrap back around to being genius manipulators, they'd probably drive the Ricks to insanity and infighting.
I don't know why but this cracked me up right here
>tfw beavischads won
It’s funny how I posted “Ready to score Beavisbros?” completely unaware he would be scoring by the end
Seeing him so sad got to me a little ngl
The ladybug fakeout is what got me
>https://baraag.net/@Stickyickysmut
Just a brojob dude.
>beavis and butthead fan art
>on baraag
gross
I actually really want to see more of these two interacting like this.
waiting for every nicktoon to get the Jungle Movie treatment.
i want a new king of the hill
It's coming
>It's coming
And so am i
Yes
Beavis getting like saccharine and romantic about love was one of the funniest running gags. Judge's voice for puppy love Beavis was cracking me up.
I wanted to add that I'm really happy they handled them being in 2022 pretty well. It's so easy to fall back on the "omg starbucks on every corner" type of humor. That was my biggest concern when I saw the plot.
Further confirming Beavis is best boy.
Smart Beavis and Smart Butt-head were quite humorous indeed, yes.
Very droll
Amusing, very much so.
Whimsical, truly.
This smile must be protected at all costs.
Aw what a wuss
ROLLERCOASTER
OF LOOOVE
Man, Do The Universe really lacks in the soundtrack department compared to Do America. I have that rap song from the montage of them buying a shitload of nachos but can barely remember any other songs in it.
The only reason I personally remember the rap song was because of how much I didn't like it. I guess heavy metal is a dead genre in current year.
they could’ve used more rock/metal but Children of the Grave did play twice
They had more classical than rock/metal. It's a travesty. The soundtrack is REALLY shit, by far the worst part of the new movie.
>subverts audience expectations in 2022 without coming off as a shell of its former self
Genuinely impressed given how business moronic Viacom/Paramount is these days.
Mike Judge is a treasure. Hopefully KOTH will also be good.
Isn't the KOTH revival just a rumor?
While the issue with B&B’s new movie was the animation over writing, Futurama will have issues with writing over animation, assuming they still hand draw it
Dude that shit hasn't been hand drawn since it moved to Comedy Central and they had to cut back their music and writing budget severely just to afford the voice actors.
Do kids like Beavis and Butthead still exist?
You know, usually there's some convenient sign of someone not being dead when B&B causing accidents and getting people hurt but holy shit, that space station scene actually had corpses on screen
Beavis and Butthead now have an official body count and not in terms of sex
This is a really good point to mention. But didn’t they kill someone at some point, like in the episode where they stand in front of traffic?
Do America had the entire car pile up on the highway after they fell out of the car's trunk but there was no confirmation of fatalities
That’s the other point I was thinking about… I haven’t seen a lot of episodes but I figure actually killing someone is a line they wouldn’t cross
>but there was no confirmation of fatalities
That might be due to censorship at the time and not wanting their movie rated R in theaters. "Worst traffic accident in history" heavily implies some causalities lol
I was a bit shocked by that too. Despite everything those tards have done, we never got confirmed bodies until now.
I wonder if the stakes will be generally higher in the new season.
Beavis sure did
Reminder Beavis got drugged and ass raped by a grief counsellor in Season 8.
Ah, so Beavis got the reboot treatment. Oh yeah and in the Do America movie Butthead gets a cavity search by a female officer.
how is it at their worst they are less controversial than south park and other shows?
that was said during a music segment so would that still be canon?
bump cuz I’m surprised my thread is still up 3 days later.
Just watched season 8… maybe it was a blessing in disguise they only got one season cuz it’s as good as the 90s seasons
Crying, Tech Support, Bounty Hunters and Super Size Me fricking show that Beavis and Butthead is funny no matter what year it is
Then the fricking commentaries for both the music videos and other MTV shows were fricking god tier, some of the funniest jokes I've ever heard
I know people complained about the MTV reality show commentary they did, but those shows suck and deserved it.
>girl on TV: "And what did Jesus say?"
>Butt-head: "He said she can do better..."
Yeah those were fricking great. I'll be perfectly honenstly I like Beavis and Butthead commenting on that shit more than music.
>Man, she's really bad at acting, hmhmhmheh
>uhh. She's not acting, dumbass. This is a reality show.
>Ohhh, yeah. So she's not a bad actor, heh. Just a bad person.
>"We're doing the hookup board, if you hooked up with this person, you could have hooked up with another by swapping the spit"
>If they did this chart long enough, they could find out where herpes began
It started with strong ratings but declined as the season went on
Agreed. I also loved the weird little Human Centipede review. I nearly cried laughing the first time I saw it.
>The foot fetish segment
I'd argue that the revival was better in terms of story structure.
Huhuhuhuhu op said score
you said "pee"
kino episode
anyone have a list of the people they reference in this? I'm only about 2/3rds in and suddenly there's Danny Trejo and The Rock.
Am I the only one who expected some of the old cast to be shown after they went back to Highland?
Probably the only thing that really ended up disappointing me. I wanted to see a grown up Stewart react to Beavis & Butthead still being alive. Hopefully if they get a new show and it does take place in 2022 we'll get to see the aged up cast.
anyone have a high res of infinite beavis/butthead scene? sadly my copy is low quality
Best I could do, posted it on plusCinemaphile because the file was too large for Cinemaphile Prime.
https://boards.plusCinemaphile/co/t437140.html#p443000
nice thanks! I'm going to run it through some up-res ai. what is plusCinemaphile?
>what is plusCinemaphile?
It's the backup Cinemaphile, but most people here have long since forgotten about it.
upscaled 2x with waifuxl
https://postimg.cc/gLsf9bhq
jesus, how many of these are references?
Wizards on top left are probably Gandalf.
good movie but the poor animation weakens it tbh
The whole bit about Serena fricking hundreds of people, a dog, etc, was gold. Beavis' reactions were hilarious
>Well, that is more than I would have hoped for
>Jesus Christ
remember when Stuart scored with that cult?
Surprised no one mentioned this yet.
Should just make a pony version of every reaction image there is, to finally get this bot banned?
The show has a unicorn, does that count as a pony?
You dumbass. He is a deer.
Do you think Beavis and Butthead watch Metalocalypse?
Well, Do The Universe was actually animated by the guys who did Metalocalypse
So, it's entirely possible
Yes
yeah baby

Lol I haven't seen that kiddie porn actress on Cinemaphile since 06. What was her name? Salty milk girl?
What the frick are you on about and what does it have to do with the Frog Baseball short there?
What the frick are you talking about? You dumbass.
I know way too many lesbians who identify with Beavis and Butthead
>lesbians identify with two gross, moronic and crude no life wiggers
Makes sense to be honest
Or knowing that there exist women who unironically want to frick nerdy boys and gross guys, there's probably a shit ton today who unironically want to score with Beavis and/or Butthead. Hell, even the Christmas special pretty much confirms it:
?t=161
I feel like the obsession with Beavis is the whole
>I can fix him
thing at work since it's been shown multiple times that Beavis just does what he's told and with Butthead's influence ends up a really good guy working at soup kitchens with Stewart
*without
Plus he's a softie/wuss lol.
Reminds me of the Robot Chicken skit where Beavis ends up successful without Butthead
The show had a take on "Beavis without Butthead" too in the It's a Wonderful Life spoof
>what's a bunghole
>you're a bunghole, bunghole
>Beavis starts listening to Winger
Maybe it's a good thing he had Butthead to guide him
>someone posted my video on Cinemaphile
my life is complete, thank you
thread theme
Someone dumped the entire album + the soundtrack for do America on /wsg/ a good while back if anyone’s interested.
This is great but you can't go wrong with the original blues banger:
I enjoyed the movie overall as a B&B fan, but also felt it was just a little bit boring. I hope the actual new series is better, this felt more like a watered-down Do America than anything else. It fell into the trap that most thought the original film would: it felt like an overly long episode of the show
Anyway what’s Beavis’ first name, then?
Michael “Mike”
With that logic both their names are Mike, dilweed.
Is that gonna be the series finale twist?
It better be as Mike Judge reveals that beavis was his self insert the whole time.
That's some shit a comic strip guy would do lol
So the movie confirms it was Beavis' house all along.
It always felt to me that while Butthead had marginally more intelligence (like he's better at reading for example), Beavis had marginally more common sense, lije in Do America when he questions the wisdom of jumping out of a car travelling at highway speeds.
>Mike Judge killed Winger just by putting them on Stewart's shirt.
Beavis and Butt-Head was a fricking powerful show.
Everybody already knew Winger was poser metal making Stewart a fan just solidified it
>poser metal
Would B+B like Manowar?
Funny how all the comments are from fans. I didn't see a single one talking shit
>put this on
>sister acts like I'm about to shoot up black tar heroin in the living room
This really is repulsive to females on a molecular level.
I've noticed people either find their laughs hilarious or downright repulsive
My mom loves beavis and butthead
>repulsive to females
This homie has never seen all the women who want to frick Beavis
We did it...a B&B thread that reaches bump limit
B&B bros
we're not dead yet!
I liked it, only the car chase scene really stood out for its shittiness
