I’m fully convinced the last episode will have 11 flying again like in the end of season 2 and bring it full circle. She was never the monster she just helped create the monster but it wasn’t really her fault. The Mind Flayer might be playing vecna for all we know as well. Some VR game came out where Vecna speaks to the Mind Flayer and its supposed to be canon. This means the MF does have some type of consciousness

One thing I never understood about ST is how Eleven sees people in the void and then she knows where they are in the real world. I mean, she finds them but all the sees is the person and norhing else. How does she go from that to "they're in the mall"

The prequel play explains the relation between Vecna and the MF. He's being used and possessed by it or something like that
So Dustin was right and Vecna is just a general and MF is endgame boss? I hope so even if it’s implied he had no real motivation till he met 1.
