He became a villain cause that's what he thought was left for him after everyone ostraziced him. I think Miles will defeat The Spot by convincing him that he doesn't have to be a villain, that he gets a choice despite everything.
He'll probably end up sacrificing himself to keep the multiverse from collapsing or something like that. Or he becomes the new caretaker to make sure universes don't go poof from anomalies.
