Tyrions beatles monologue or shirtless Ramsay fighting off a horde of Iron Born
as soon as the book ended with johns death and the tv series picked it up from there and made it stupid.
who the frick is john
Yes
Joffrey's death IMO
season 5
*season 4 episode 10
this
GoT's lasted up until the end of season 4
>talking about shit from years ago
If you weren't here, you should probably be lurking instead of posting.
>talking about shit from years ago
im still upset about this one
When they ran out of source material.
i didnt enjoy most ramsey scenes
still more tolerable than Essos arya
When Arya leaves for Essos.
By that point the story become so fractured that a character's story would hardly advance at all over the course of an entire season because they would only get 5 minutes of screentime per episode.
Tywin's death. The seeds for worse shit to come were sewn before this, but Tywin's death signaled the end of kino.
Tywins death for me too. Once focus drifted from kings landing it went to shit immediately.
I honestly think his death is a big part of what made the books stall too
Same, never bought into the fandom or read the stupid books, but as soon as Tywin died, it stopped even being an entertaining show.
Hey authors, maybe don't build a narrative around killing all your interesting characters so it's just dwarves, cripples and cucks left at the end??!? Lmao
Second to last rankings for episodes each Season. So it's pretty clear
>post-season 5
>anything above >7
very very generous ratings
>beyond the wall 9.0
Shows how normies would have been totally satisfied with a marvel, star wars- tier final season with tons of action and generic but serviceable plot/ending like jon beating the night king in a 10 minute duel or dany becoming a benevolent ruler who unites all her subjects and they all live happily ever after (which would still be an improvement on what we got). That episode was the moment GoT fell from mediocrity to outright trash
This moment truly showed us the potential of how bad the show was going to get. There were decent episodes after this, but it was the first time I got worried
>Give me ten good men and some climbing spikes. I'll impregnate the b***h.
Not because the writing was bad at that point, but because the audience latched onto it and memed the shit writing into existence.
>jobbing the Hound to Brienne
/thread, I don’t care if the Hound was sick or whatever that was gay

The second they ran out of books to copy.
The number one thing I remember is aeya getting stabbed in the gut and dumped in a sewer but doesn't die.
WHY didn’t they just make Aria get stabbed in the thigh or something or shoulder? Even then falling into that sewage runoff where people dump buckets of shit with stab wounds is basically a death sentence either way but her getting stabbed like 57 times and thrown into that I was like damn she is fricking dead….. or else that wasn’t her and it was a many face double or some shit. But nope. They kinda forgot filth exists.
Season 5 because they cut the entire North plotline and Aegon plotline and if you've read the books those are two clearly crucial elements in how the characters will get to their end states.
Faegon is a total red herring and nothing will come of him, like Quentin Martell entire storyline being "tard gets burnt to death".
Aegon is what will cause Dany to ape out because he's hecking stealing her birthright.
The fatman will never write that in. He's never going to finish the last book. We MIGHT get The Winds of Winter, but never A Dream of Spring because he's worried of pissing off millions of neckbeards and tumblrites.
FAegon is the Henry Tudor of the story who shows up at the end and wins out of nowhere.
Naw, we already know bran ends up on the throne which you can see the path the novel is going to take to get him there if you squint at it.
You could begin to see substantial cracks by season 4 but season 5 onwards is irredeemable dreck.
It starts going downhill in S4 because D&D lost all motivation after the red wedding.
Robert's death
Season 1, Episode 1 00:01
Season 1 was great because it tried to be fairly accurate
Season 2 was much worse because the writers got high off their own fumes and thought their original chracters were better. Jaqen and Stannis scenes were the only redeeming parts.
Season 3 and 4 were good again because they reined that shit in and also because SOS is a better book.
Everything after 4 is unwatchable.
declined during s2 which was still good. just gets worse every season thereafter.
