like, the scenario is inherently horrifying, but weaving Simpsons quotes into the narrative just makes it hilarious - you've literally got a character with frontal lobe damage that can only respond if the simpsons part of their brain is stimulated, like some 'Darmok and Jalad' shit
I really like Sugar's pre-SU art. Actually, a lot of her early SU stuff, like the development sketches and the pilot, have this same sort of dimension and expression to them that I have a hard time finding anywhere else.
