I've watched both these movies now, but they're just so unbelievably generic. The lead chick kills a hundred guys in the movie without getting a scratch on her. I get that they started out as Zack's Star Wars pitch but he shouldn't have written the actual screenplay, maybe just the story.
Snyder was always shit. Dawn of the dead was only a success because of the name and the production budget. You might even say it succeeded despite him.
I'm struggling to finish this movie, like the begining is so fricking bad holy shit. I feel like it's not that different from what star wars was in the 70s the difference is that shit you could get away with back then when sci fi was starting is shit you cannot get away with today. Things like impossible escapes, enemy who can't correctly shoot for shit, overly obvious plot armor, destiny shit - at least when it's way too obvious and so on
I'm a big snyder fan and even I will admit these movies are absolute trash. They are the film equivalent of asset flip trash you find for sale on steam.

Cinema was super packed in my major metropolitan city, also the Dune 2 theater demanded that Rebel Moon 2 be shown instead, there was almost a riot
