This is a movie that should fit the bill but doesn't. For what this movie is and about there's a serious lack of mysterious atmosphere and moody rainy scenes
Instead you get bright sunny scenes and whimsical music
I recommend "Force of Nature" starring Mel Gibson. Not exactly a good movie, but it captures the comfy feel of being in the middle of a hurricane few movies do. I would also recommend "Bodies Bodies Bodies" for the same reason 🙂
Mushi-shi is pretty good and moody anime. Probably gonna catch shit for recommending it. It's almost an anthology or monster of the week type anime. It's pretty comfy

This thread taught me there is a serious deficit in the film industry of rainy horror kino.
Mushi-shi is pretty good and moody anime. Probably gonna catch shit for recommending it. It's almost an anthology or monster of the week type anime. It's pretty comfy
Memories of Murder
There was a shitty 90s movie called "Hard Rain". It wasn't really moody, but it's very watchable just for the rainy aesthetic.
Very comfy rain scene.
