I can imagine if you aren't funny yourself that you might find him funny because he does weird voices and just beats a joke to death each skit. Not funny at all. Every time someone shows me him I pretend to laugh.
It depends how good he is at fake laughing. It’s pretty common to throw in some fake laughs. It would be kind of weird to just sit there watching it without laughing. It’s like in sex how you have to fake moan or grunt a little or it would be kind of weird
Maybe for you. Most laughter is polite laughter, unless you’re like really good friends with them and you can just sit there and be like “this shit sucks bro”
If I was friends with someone and they kept fake laughing at something that I thought was actually funny I would take actions to distance myself from that person in the future.

Okay but what if they were just doing some “hahs”. I can understand it being uncomfortable and weird if they were going for an Emmy performance with their fake laughs, but some brief laughs to show that you’re entertained and finding it funny is less awkward than just sitting there silently unamused

If the fake laughs are unnoticable then obviously there's no issue, but if I noticed that someone was consistently fake laughing in front of me I would think something was wrong with them.

That’s quite reasonable, I see your point

I am pleased that our discussion was able to reach an amicable conclusion.
One of the 80th percentile funny humans I've ever seen. A friend showed a group of us his sketches and only 20% of us were laughing. It was unpleasant.
He was one of the most semi funny humans I’ve ever seen. One time I treated myself to watching one of his skits in my free, and I found it fairly amusing, and I might’ve chuckled a little once or twice
it's not laugh out loud comedy. It's mildly entertaining most of the time, and then some shit they say just works on a subliminal level and gets stuck in your head. Like sloppy steaks. Every time I see a steak, I think of sloppy steaks and I start laughing uncontrollably. Maybe I'm just moronic
One of the least funny humans I've ever seen. A friend showed a group of us his sketches and not a single person was laughing. It was cringeworthy.
One of several funny people I’ve seen. A friend showed a group of us his sketches and a few people were laughing. It was okay.
Dude you ran out of eggs, would you like to buy an 80 pack of eggs?
that 1 (one) egg was forty (40) eggs?
This is probably my favorite sketch in the entire show
i watched the entire first series three times and hated it the first two but the third time made me realise just how kino it is
I'm not worried about it

>I pretend to laugh.
All of your friends are deeply uncomfortable that you do this.

Profoundly uncomfortable

It was most judicious
And yet your post was painfully unfunny, curious
I don't like his face whoever he is. I'm just gonna assume he's cringe and go on with my life
Witnessed
Awful. He perfectly fits the stereotype of American humor as being loud and stupid withpit a shred of subtly.
I bet you’re a dumb british homosexual that thinks panel shows are hilarious
First season was funny
Second season was half funny, half reddit
Third season was just reddit, I'm afraid
