Why do normies get so absolutely assblasted if you say you think Breaking Bad is overrated? Yes there is, it’s called gas chromatography dumbasses. You can literally determine the ratio of the chemical you want vs all the other crap. It’s used in industrial chemistry all the time. That said in real life I don’t think meth is terribly hard to produce for any criminal enterprise with access to a decent industrial chemical plant. It’s just that in the 2000s it was mostly made by untrained amateurs with bootleg home setups.

Is the ratio of the desired end substance to the left over precursor chemicals or other compounds created in the process that you don’t want or can’t use. Purity and purity ratios are a basic thing in any kind of industrial chemical engineering and it’s measured all the time because you don’t want to waste money using forty percent more inputs than you actually need to by using an inefficient process.
