Yah Perigay is too dumb and petty to be content with a "stealth" thread like this, if he's not screeching and hollering like a banshee in the town square, he's not happy

As for OP's question- idk why people think Peridot has a "good" redemption arc.... She was introduced as a potentially frick character, but all that potential was just in our heads, and she quickly became nothing more that a shitty 'scrimbly bimbly so heckin skrunkly wrunkly'
quirk gremlin for the writers to do absolutely frick all with
        It was the ultimate letdown

She was a great character even if her design degraded. After her character arc, she was relegated to the status of comic relief.

I liked what they did with him but everything they did regarding Simon felt like it too forever to get to when they introduced it.

I know it wasn’t planned. I also know that they confused the metaphor. It went from an Alzheimer’s metaphor to a drug addiction metaphor. Not a huge problem, but it would’ve been a lot more insightful if the writers focused on rehabilitating and accepting the Ice King instead of contriving a reason for Simon to return.

He didn't make this thead, but i you wanna know why he does that... Well, I don't think anyone knows the full story, not even him
Part of it is getting pissed at some ja*nny or something a year and a half ago...

Careful tho, ja*nnies get petty anal when you talk about him, say any more than this and you might get b&

Some homosexual janny couldn’t let some moron have a wafiu thread and now we all have to deal with his spamming shit almost everyday instead of a single thread that would have died after two days

In fairness he was still a spamming gay about it even then which led to them being delwted in the first place. He was just a dumb autist with shit taste from the start

          >Some homosexual janny couldn’t let some moron have a wafiu thread
Peridiot keeps insisting that he wants a Peridot thread that would be a sticky 24/7 for the rest of this board's existence. If mods were to cave in, it would prompt other autists to seek the same treatment for their own waifus.

OP here I'm not Periguy I've been rewatching SU and I liked Peridot's Arc.

Granted it was fun when she was a Villain but seeing her warm up to Earth and being one of the few antagonist to have buildup to her changing was great.

I think The Diamonds could of use a few episodes to warm us up to them being better instead of jumping right into cringe aunties/grandma.

I know Dinobot's the obvious answer but Blackarachnia's arc is really underrated i think. its fun the idea of taking the sexy evil femme fatale and making her the love interest for the most naturally good character.

In some ways I don't know if it counts as an arc but him joining the good guys felt so natural in a way I find few other redemptions do.

It wasnt just joining the team but also becoming a chi wizard

      >Starts off as just regular help
      >Helps the gang more
      >Gets into wizard stuff with Uncle becoming his teacher
      >Becomes his assistant
      >Does it more, aiding Uncle in fighting dark chi stuff and demons
      >Gets to the point he finds his own branch of chi stuff that he is super good at (dealing with Oni) and surpasses even Uncle in that

I daresay the actual redemption was as one note as his character before changing bands

      >borderline mute enforcer
      >gets betrayed by his boss
      >switches to the good guys
      >stays a good guy for the rest of the series

But then they started developing him as

It wasnt just joining the team but also becoming a chi wizard

      >Starts off as just regular help
      >Helps the gang more
      >Gets into wizard stuff with Uncle becoming his teacher
      >Becomes his assistant
      >Does it more, aiding Uncle in fighting dark chi stuff and demons
      >Gets to the point he finds his own branch of chi stuff that he is super good at (dealing with Oni) and surpasses even Uncle in that

points out, it could've been so much easier to just keep him the dumb muscle, but good!, but they went the extra mile and now we have a one of the most characters in the series

Eh, if you're gonna bring him back, a redemption arc's as good an idea as any. Having him as a villain would seem like KFP1 all over again.

        I am
That kind of things are easy to frick up.

        *I am not that optimistic

We'll just have to see. Considering the film's only gonna be 1.5 hours long, it'd probably be best if he helps the heroes beat Chameleon while acting all Tsundere about it and then isn't quite redeemed at the end. Then they could follow up on it in a sequel/spinoff/whatever.

He is a good example of a redeemed character, but he was less a villain and more a low-tier antagonist who later becomes part of the main cast. The stakes with Tom were low, even in the one episode he was the antagonist of.
