Remember that time Spider-Man accidentally gave MJ cancer by cumming inside of her?
Would he side with Miguel and accept that MJ being coomed to death is an unalterable canon event?
Seriously though, who the frick thought this was a good idea?

It's amazing. And honestly even without the radioactive cum part, it would still be ridiculous. He's hugging a rotten corpse.

Dear Murisharts, not everyone in the world is as cynical as you are. Not everyone has the mentality of a 12-year old who thinks lewd things are inherently funny. And not everyone prefers their media to be sanitized and squeaky clean. Yes, hugging a rotting corpse is pretty ridiculous. You can do ridiculous things when in despair and mourning. Well, not Murisharts, I suppose: you want everyone to believe you're always sassy smartasses who never experience any vulnerability whatsoever.

I'm not even American. But this is ironic considering Spider-Man is an American hero from an American comic book created by and still written by Americans.

Finding the concept of Spider-Man's radioactive semen giving his wife cancer funny is not an inherently American trait. He literally creampies MJ to death. How is that not hilarious?

              >SPERM FUNNY LOL
Thanks for proving my point. Radioactive sperm is not any more ridiculous of a pseudo-sci-fi concept than anything else in Spider-Man mythos.

That's not the point, moron. It's funny because yes, radioactive semen, but also because somebody had to come up with that idea in the first place. I mean, who the frick sits down to write a Spider-Man story and thinks "Hmm, I know, MJ should die because of Peter's radioactive cum being shot into her pussy."
Also, I'm curious, what exactly does a person like you find funny?

Have you even read the actual comic? There's much more to the premise than lmao radioactive semen. It's just one of the many elements that contribute to this Peter's depression and self-hatred. As killing your loved one by accident, simply because of the way your body works and you're helpless to prevent it, would.

I'm sorry if you're so boring that you cannot even attempt to take an out there concept seriously because "haha sperm funny how can it kill :)" But you do realize that you're not all that different from the people who look down on capes as a whole because "haha costumes funny how can I take it seriously :)"? You just draw a different arbitrary line as to where to be a close-minded gay.

I mean, they could still have done that, just without the semen part, simply by having MJ get cancer as a consequence of being in close contact with Peter all the time. The person who wrote this, for some reason, decided it should be related specifically to his cum.
He's also not exactly helpless to prevent it - he could just, like, use a condom lmao.

How can you not understand the difference between some costumes looking a bit silly by modern standards (mainly as a consequence of old comics being cheaply printed so colors had to be a bit funky) and Peter Parker killing his wife because he filled her up with his radioactive spider-spunk on a regular basis. The two things are on entirely different levels of ridiculousness.

                >He's also not exactly helpless to prevent it - he could just, like, use a condom lmao.
See, you keep engaging in bad faith and refusing to think for five seconds and understand the obvious concept that this is a consequence of him trying to do something as basic as have kids. You'd rather act intentionally obtuse and pretend to be moronic.
                >How can you not understand the difference between some costumes looking a bit silly by modern standards (mainly as a consequence of old comics being cheaply printed so colors had to be a bit funky)
You don't understand it either, because you're not explaining it. In truth, it's all based on one's personal subjective perception. You just treat yours as fact and refuse to recognize others'. Your argument boils down to "it's obvious because I feel that way and cannot imagine anyone feeling a different way".
The original designs of characters like Green Goblin, Vulture, Electro or Rhino would look ridiculous to most people no matter the color. Capes aren't exactly the genre to sneer at seemingly silly concepts, provided the story actually takes them seriously. To answer your previous question, anything can be funny or serious depending on how you choose to engage with it and frame it. Even the most seemingly profound story can be described in a mocking, dismissive tone. I don't discriminate based on concept, only on execution. Which feels like an obvious thing to say but apparently it's not here.

You're not exactly wrong, there's a huge obsession with cynicism and a need to live on 178283848493 layers of irony for fear of being vulnerable or having sincerity.
