Genuinely, it is kino. If you haven’t seen it, even if you don’t know the situation, go watch it

The audience thought he was doing a bit at first, he tells the story so well.

      Anonymous

Very well handled by Dave getting on top of it and defusing it himself by making it a story and joking about it. Calling it "creepy things" he did and then revealing he just had sex with women. Not once saying the words "wife" or "affair", only "my family". It definitely would have gotten out and looked way worse if he had kept quiet about it.

I watched his show the most during the era when she would do bits, usually with the audience. A major part of me felt like she was having sex with Dave back then, but my prevailing thought was that surely he wouldn't be so bold as to put her front and center like that if there was any impropriety. I was naive, I guess, and didn't see it, but watching some of her and Dave after the fact I thought, "How obvious that they were fricking!" The way she would stand close to him, playfully touch him, etc.

i remember this. now that i think about it, it's a very israeli/media move to use this as a publicity stunt and hurt your wife/family in public, instead of telling them in private and trying to brush it under the carpet

Yeah, he even got a round of applause from his audience for saying he cheated.

He didn't want to pay the blackmailers. Can't blame him. By revealing the plot he ruined their attempt. Letterman was LOADED, and they would have continued to extort money from him to keep him quiet.

From that article: "His affairs, while confusing and demoralizing for some of the women who worked under him, appeared to be entirely consensual." Good enough for me.

I never saw this, but I read his autobiography one summer. It's clear he has one of the few remaining proper Christian upbringings that Boomers had. Also, he loved Norm, so he definitely had a good comedic soul. I hate what Soros and the Democratic party turned him in to.

There's nothing wrong with sex between consenting adults. You've been brainwashed by monogamous puritans. Men are made to have lots of sex. By fricking his intern letterman is just making a statement : I'm a man, i'll live my life as a man and frick you.

So why aren't oil Arabs fat and disgusting? They have endless money. Your lifegoals simply change when money is not an issue. On surface level, they seem to be spending it on other frivolous things, instead of trying to be humanitarian.
