The show was an awful combination of DEI spewing bullshit AND eye rolling uninspired pro war propaganda. It’s a show made for no one and the perfect example of the problem with Hollywood in general today. They’re desperate to please EVERYONE so everything just loses its singular identity and has to bow to all interests, it’s like producers are being prohibited from simply saying “men and women each prefer different genres so we need to sell to them separately” so everything has to be this godawful mixture of emotional tones that never blend. What made Hawkeye work was both leads had chemistry AND the writers mostly understood what they both needed to be to make them appealing to a general audience, no other Disney show has done this
