Yes he did, then Tomino took credit for everything
    >“During the original Mobile Suit Gundam, my relationship with Tomino was very positive and productive. After the success of the series though, Tomino shut out everybody else and acted as though he was the only person responsible for its success. So there was almost no communication between him and I after this, which made it very hard to work on Gundam. After all, if you have to work together, there needs to be communication. This changed with Gundam F91, as communication was reopened. However, I only worked on the character design for Gundam F91, as I had retired from animation at that point.”

      >no you can't just push for new younger talent who vastly improve the animation quality in a short span of time while writing the entire story yourself keeping it very personal! You're not even outsourcing stuff to Korea!
      >I'm going to go squeal to Bandai and force you to let me draw robots for you!

Hospitalized right after the show begun
    Didn't work any iconic moments

Hospitalized at the end. Worked on the movie versions which are actually popular and iconic unlike the show due to his animation direction. No one thought the Lalah shit is deep except Tomino which explains his shitty autistic sequels.

      >vastly improve the animation quality
Except they didn't. Zeta's animation is worse and the art is off model 100% of the time. Nothing in Zeta comes close to Yas' animation and keyframes for 0079. It is very amateurish looking.
      >writing the entire story yourself keeping it very personal!
The writing in the sequels is shit and Tomino doesn't understand what made Gundam good.

        Didn't work on Zeta
Zeta is arguably more iconic than the original

Not even close. 0079 is much more popular. It is the only one with any legacy in Japan. Zeta had no lasting impact.

Nah, most of the Gundamisms in future series come from Zeta. Zeta also came in 2nd only behind the original in that big NHK poll.

Not really, the very foundation and setting of almost every future show is built on things established in the original, along with a lot of the machines, characters etc. The existence of a super suit called a Gundam, a bunch of characters etc. If you look at the kind of things Banrise seems to think are necessary for a Gundam show to be a Gundam show, then all of them are based in 0079, like the Gundam itself, the masked antagonist and so on.

Yas was still animating during Zeta you fricking dolt lmao
He had stopped doing that professionally sometime between then and f91

There's also Kenichi Matsuzaki who created the setting and world building that Tomino gets credit for and came up with Gundam's concept of the space colony, Minovsky particle, and solar ray

outline for the show is literally called tomino memo.
(To)minovsky particle was also something that he wanted in the show.
TV shows was a collaborative efforts and others played their part well but that's where it ends. You can seethe all you want but Gundam will forever remain Tomino's baby.

That was based on Tomino's draft. Literally everything was, he's billed as the original creator because he literally was. Everyone was just refining his proposal.

????? Okawara did most of the heavy lifting for mechanical designs.
Yas had nothing to do with Zaku's design (it was Tomino who requested the mono eye).
Yas design for gundam was moronic, so Okawara reworked it and used it for Guncannon instead.
He also designed Dom and it remained almost unchanged until the end, Yas just gave a finishing touch.

    Tominohaters are hilarious
Their entire thought-process revolves around simply asserting that Tomino did nothing because they don't like acknowledging that he is the only consistently good thing in the whole franchise
They are like flat-earthers, in essence. If they acknowledge even a single part of their fantasy is incorrect they have to start accepting more and more of the truth until they break down in tears,
    >"NO, NO! Tomino did NOTHING!!! Can't you see how angry I am at him!!! That means he is a HACK!!! :O"
    lmao

YasuKINO is the Miyazaki of Sunrise that Tomino wishes he was

      >he's still at it
Hisaishi had already worked on Gundam compilation films prior to working with Yas.
      >YasuKINO is the Miyazaki of Sunrise
Sunrise literally named a studio after Tomino's pseudonym, whereas Yas screeched like a homosexual cause his works flopped and weren't getting much publicity from magazines.

I think Yas is just a bit salty. Tomino is weird but he does says everytime that anime making is a team effort and he couldn't do it alone.
