Nope. They don’t want to use generic copyright free music, nor do they want to use show music. Other than that the game is polished as frick though (the Renpy version anyway).

c-137 rick is the douchebag flashback rick, not the "good" rick we believe he is in his memory. douchebag rick never left his family, but ultimately lost it due to divorce, which left him jaded.
what happened was that the good rick eventually found c-137 rick, but lost in the confrontation. c-137 rick wanted to see why the frick he got attacked, so he used the brain and memory reading shit he used on birdperson to go into good rick's memories, which fricked him up emotionally after he learned the truth, because the bomb going through the portal was accidental and he didn't know he killed good rick's wife and daughter.
he used the mind eraser to erase the majority of his own memories, but left good rick's, altering his sense of self and replacing his own origin story within his head. he still has memories of baby morty because he cares about morty and couldn't bring himself to erase them.
he was not birdperson's original true friend, he essentially body swapped good rick and continues to be his "friend" due to a mixture of warped identity and crippling guilt.
I mean, I wouldn't put it past the show, but that seems like a worthless reveal if it came to pass.

Let's be honest, Most of the fricked up things that Morty experienced would not happen to Morticia. The mega seeds from the very first episode would not exist. Media is just no comfortable with women being abused or being buttmonkeys.
