I have unironically enjoyed all seasons of Rick and Morty (maybe not 2 or was it 3, the one with the happy ending for Jerry, Jerry is a piece of shit and I like seeing his suffer) and think that it has great animation, I think that the only reason people think that the animation is shit is only because of the art style. As to comedy, I can't really comment as I don't have a comedy degree and the only comedy shows to have ever made me laugh out loud are Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Chapelle Show. Rick and Morty is just entertaining and I actually find South Park way more depressing - Why'd they have to do my man Kenny like that every episode? It's not right.
