He's in charge of FearCo, the rival energy company that's still doing Scream collecting. He's been pretty chill so far, but this whole season is a "Main character is torn between his friends at MI and a job offer in the career he wanted his whole life" thing.
Yes, despite laughter being a stronger energy source then screams, Monsters Inc has basically lost all their credibility in the scream-dominated energy industry and gets shoved into a corner in the small "Alternative Energy Sources" section at a industry convention next to monsters futilely trying to pitch solar energy as a concept.

Wow, that is... oddly cynical for a movie that ended on such an optimistic note. What is with these continuations of Pixar films that are simultaneously sanitized and far more sardonic than the originals?

Scaring's the bedrock of monster culture even outside energy collection, it's not like it was going to go that easily.

The writers at Pixar think they can do better with the IPs. Hence why we have gotten such boring sequels with odd theme choices.

Monsters at Work is actually made over at DTVA rather then Pixar directly. Hell, Season 1 had Meet the Robinsons director Stephen Anderson as one of the showrunners and Season 2's got the Prep and Landing directors in charge.

>Oh, you thought Monsters Inc had a happy ending? No, it didn't because my political beliefs aren't realized in real life. The beatings over the head WILL continue until morale improves.
This is like having a Ferngully sequel where the rainforest is destroyed anyway.

PIXAR kids grew up to work there and they brought their childhood trauma with them
>neither parent has just 1 eye
That's it, my headcanon is that she had a one night stand with Mike that produced the daughter (and no, I'm not saying either of them cheated, it could have happened before they got in their relationships)
I genuinely don't understand. What was their mindset when they decided to nerf her design like this? Honestly it's mostly the hair imo....that style looks really bad on a character with her head shape. Why would they do that to her, are they trying to send a message or something?
Being 35 is not relevant in this context unless her species has some form of female pattern baldness issue though. The overall majority of 35 Plus year old women do not have hair anything like this.
This is a deliberate style choice, and I just want to know why.
Wish this artist would draw her with consistent proprotions
I've dm'd Imago a few times, he says he enjoys experimenting proportions and coloring styles with her most times he draws her, until he finds something he's comfy with. I personally prefer the literal Titty monster approach since I'm a boob guy lol. At the end of the day I don't care as long as it means more art of her
>This is a deliberate style choice, and I just want to know why.
It's simplier and/or easier to animate? That's the only reason I can think of without getting political
People get older and a lot of time has passed in-universe. The show takes place after Monsters Inc where Sully and Mike had graduated for a long time already. I expect Claire to look different.

Or, maybe, just maybe... changing her proportions is her natural ability which she uses to "scare"
I don't care at all about this stupid fricking show, but I want to cuck the frick out of her husband and pump a half human abomination into those wide hips.
This damn bucktooth monstergirl was built for human wiener and she knows it.
Absolutely, I'll see if I can make some tonight if I have time.
I wanna bring this fotm back with a wave of preg art.
If you don't think those hips are meant for bearing human children, I don't know what to say to you
Did she get together with the bird dude?
she's married to johnny worthington for some reason
Is he a nice guy now? Did they do the classic jerk in school but got older and knew he was an butthole?
As far as I can see. I only watched one episode this season
Second this. Monsters at Work is fricking boring and garbage.
He's in charge of FearCo, the rival energy company that's still doing Scream collecting. He's been pretty chill so far, but this whole season is a "Main character is torn between his friends at MI and a job offer in the career he wanted his whole life" thing.
So human children have now clown monsters who come out of their closet and still scary ones?
Yes. But this is just my headcanon. Companies are given countries around so that they're not just all scaring one kid or scare laughing?

they become imaginary friends
PIXAR kids grew up to work there and they brought their childhood trauma with them
He seems nice so far, but it could be a ploy to manipulate Tyler to join his team. He doesn't seem like a bad husband or dad though.
No with the horn dude
Damn. What a chad. So is that their daughter in the OP image with the one eye? She's cute.
The dog is a dog
She has a girl and a boy. I'm assuming monsger gene aren't as tone down as humans and that's their legitimate son.
I watch the episode with my bro, and he cracked a joke about the mom cheating on him.
I dont have the time to watch a cartoon, I have a life
Okay
Thank you for sharing I guess.
>I dont have the time to watch a cartoon, I have a life
spend less time posting on Cinemaphile
Awww 🙁
>neither parent has just 1 eye
That's it, my headcanon is that she had a one night stand with Mike that produced the daughter (and no, I'm not saying either of them cheated, it could have happened before they got in their relationships)
She's got horns though.
Which Mike also has
Can't unsee
He's so attractive, it's like a Bradley Uppercrust III welldone.
>implying this is not welldone
Excuse you?
>Choosing a scrawny rich butthole with low self steem.
What aterrible taste, pleb.
t. Max Goof
Or the hot Beret Girl
I shall now self-insert as him and plug up my former goth monster wife with monster sperm(and my goth daughter as well)
good man
Man.
I get life isn't predictable or anything but I really thought her and brock would be cute together...
I am confused, is that her daughter or a dog , what did she mate with to create a slug boy
Monster genetics are all over the place. Like this is the MC and his mom.
Fricking really? They went with the Broc hair?
it's quite bussin
>zoomer monster has zoomer haircut
>somehow this is wrong
The zoomer haircut didn't exist in 2001.
the show takes place like 1 week after the movie
Doubt
The whole premise of Season 1 is "Monster fresh out of college finds out his Scaring Degree is worthless at Monsters Inc"
>people are saying it's bad she's now a MILF
Ruined. She turned into a lightbulb.
My heart can only withstand so much
When she was FOTM
Takes me back
You'll scream, right?
Cartoon name??? When a Monsters third sequel will arrive?
Monsters at Work
Ha ha your waifu hit the wall.
Shut UP!
Delicious
I can’t prove it but someone in a previous thread literally predicted that there would be an episode about this character hitting the wall.
what about chicken guy?
and Claire was older than Johnny in MU right?
I miss the threads when we'd talk about Brock for hours on end.
Walled
I’m guessing he died young during college
Homosexual

Maybe he just likes it
You talking about Imago or the guys behind the show?

nice as hell
nice
Wish this artist would draw her with consistent proprotions

The only thing that bothers me is her hairstyle.
Awful
bruh that kid has ramen noodles on his head lmfao
I didn't even know there was gonna be a monsters inc show
is it, watchable, at least?
season 1 came out a few years ago, it's ok
its forgettable.
its not bad but it never really reaches any amazing heights
you'll probably get a few laughs in.
🙁
:,v
I know it’s a TV show but god the animation looks cheap. it reminds me of one of the shitty dreamworks TV shows.
>son looks like the dog
would've never guess Disney had the guts to make her a dog fricker
honestly I'm surprised
thought disney would've made her a lesbian or whatever the flavor of the month sexuality was when it was being made
I found that they post the episode online on the official "Disney Channel" channel on youtube, here is the link for anyone who wants to watch it:
>it was just a phase

Based. You get it, anon. She is also a milf. Who doesn't love that?
Needs preg art.
