Why did you say that name?!

BvS was hilariously bad. Every now and then I pop it in for a laugh. Highest-budget unintentionally funny movie I've ever seen.
ZSJL was actual kino.
Don't care about the rest.
>BvS was hilariously bad. Every now and then I pop it in for a laugh. Highest-budget unintentionally funny movie I've ever seen.
People like you should spend their lives in coal mines.
NTA but it was terrible.
That involves not being taught to read and write of course.
I read the novelization of the Death of Superman arc when I was like 7 and enjoyed the actual Superman v. Batman comic arc that had Superman as a zogbot (of course that's something that would have to be built up to, something the DCU refused to do while blowing it's load only to produce a series of dry cums). Snyder turned in something less than the source material.
>Snyder turned in something less than the source material
People like you reassure my belief in a strict class-based society.
>billions of dollars are spent making DCU movies to placate the moronic masses
Enjoy your $18 popcorn corn syrup beverage combo, pleb.
>no u
How pathetic. Go be cattle elsewhere. You midwits ruined this place.
this
you tasteless dweebs need to learn how to shut the frick up
>seething this hard because your capeshit movies sucked so hard they pulled the plug
Kek
I don't care about capeshit movies, problem is people like you having a voice.
>he says while getting emotional over people making fun of capeshit
Yeah, let's pretend the worst thing is capeshit dying, not you midwits having all but burned down civilization.
Sir, this is a capeshit thread. Take your meds.

My apologies, "ma'am."

Sorry, "ma'am."

Honestly, just go away. Go back to r*ddit, or go touch grass. Your kind ruined enough things already.

Meds, "ma'am."
Hi Zac.
Instead I put satellites in orbit.
what have you done lately, you pitiful whinging slob? Nothing, and you'll continue doing nothing.
good morning sirs
so why u gay
BvS haters are clinically proven to have low t.
I thought BvS was trash when I saw it in theaters. When I saw the Ultimate Edition or whatever they call the director's cut, I thought it was kino. Only parts I really don't appreciate are the Flash dream and the rushed, video in browser intros for the rest of the Justice League.
Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman, Aquaman and the Snydercut are all absolute trash. Justice League is bad, but after seeing the Snydercut, it's better by comparison
bvs was all that and zsjl is way worse, it's amateurish moronation
mos is the only serviceable
>I will find him
>He said calmy
Following Ezra on his crime spree on Cinemaphile threads full of seething trannies obsessed with defending him.
The DCEU produced no good movies if we're being honest. Capeshit is typically terrible but the DCEU couldn't even manage to remain focused and well-directed.
I read comics as a kid and enjoyed DC far more than Marvel. DC could never work as a CU because it's best when it does short run stories that revolve around archetypal characters. Marvel has always been interconnected melodrama shit that lends itself to something like a CU.
>I read comics as a kid
>watching capeshit as an adult is better

The opening of BvS was disaster kino.
No other capeshit director has the balls to frame their big superhero battle as a 9/11 allegory, that's why all the nerds hated him.
>director has the balls to frame their big superhero battle as a 9/11 allegory
The Dark Knight was literally referencing the mass surveillance that rose up after the PATRIOT Act.
Most capeshit movies treat their climactic battles like minor inconveniences in the sequels. “Hey remember when you destroyed half of a major city?” BVS has the right idea exploring the aftermath of a live action DBZ battle. Just executed poorly.
>BVS has the right idea exploring the aftermath of a live action DBZ battle.
Which is entirely why Goku always tries to lead the baddy to a wide open wasteland to fight
This is a myth. A lot of the big fights in DBZ conveniently happen in wastelands in the first place. There's one time Goku says to move the fight out of a city and you know what happens? Dr Gero levels the place with his eye beams. When Goku fought Piccolo he didn't try to get him off the island. He deliberately fought him at a Martial arts tournament where Piccolo, of course, levelled the place.
>le 9/11!
No one cares about that american shit anymore
I burst out laughing when the dicky about to get squashed by a wall conveniently appeared all of a sudden
Steppenwolf was badass
How long before our YouTube feeds are flooded with 4 hour long “DCEU Post Mordem” and “The Disasterous History of the DCEU” video essays?

Absolutely nothing interesting occured. Complete fricking failure.
>Am I too soon? AAAARRGHH, I'M TOO SOON
why did he have facial hair tho
He was from the "Knightmare" future where the world was destroyed by Superman and Darkseid. The don't have shavers in that timeline
why was he mexican tho
Aquaman was fun and the 2nd film has been the only DCEU film that I've been looking forward to since then.
the fight on the sub was kino
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU
I enjoyed watching the first Shazam a few months ago when I was in a superhero mood after I got done watching the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. It wasn't bad.
Say what you want about BVS but no can deny they actually put effort into it and it had genuine ambition (however misguided) beyond being a lazy cashgrab. I will always admire it for that alone over 90% of the assembly line crap Marvel shits out.
Why was Batman wearing a duster? Was it supposed to make him look tough or something? Kek.
Literally same.
these movies sucked so much dick
Loved my Damaged bro, like you wouldn't believe. Frick grimdark Legger & Phoningitinoenix. This motherfricker had fun (like Nicholson before him) & was actually legit funny/cringe (just like the TAS Joker), & he looked the closest to Grant Morrison's take on the villain.
Reading those reports about rats & used condoms back in 2016 - based cult leader Letoker!
PURE FRICKING SOUL
>HERE I COME MOTHERFRICKEEEEERS
I unironically enjoyed man of steel
I did too. The coming home to Ma Kent scene reminded me of old buttrock music video kinos.
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU
You posted the inferior WW.
This was the best moment of the DCEU
not DCEU and they made that scene to diss Zack
wait what where is this from? BTW how has some autist not ready done a realistic ai redo of WW (face and body) but with Lynda
>wait what where is this from?
Wonder Woman 1984
Israeli vs Mexican-American
I wish Red Notice was just Gal Gadot getting railed for 90 minutes
Forgot to add this absolute gem from the depths of DCEU archives: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkqyIoYAXV8 haven't been this excited about cross-promotion since they had Prince on Batman '89. LURKIIIIIN.... good times, fellas, good times...
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU, if any?
>the Dawn of JUST video has been removed
IT'S OVER
This was like the forerunner of the AI stuff we have nowadays, it's just unnatural
I wanted to see that post-apocalytpic movie Snyder was always teasing. Might have been cool.
>Cool-ass Krypton
>Oil Rig rescue
>Faora
>Smallville fight
>Zod vs. Supes
>all the cool metaphor and background symbolism
>the treatment of Superman/Kryptonians as a First Contact event
>The arrival of Clark being the catalyst of a new Heroic Age
>The Metahuman Thesis
>Brutal Batman
>the presence of actual themes
>Alexander “Lex” Luthor
>Lex’s rooftop rant
>Bruce’s redemption
>allusions to occult stuff around the New Gods
>Cool New Gods
Basically, I’ll miss all of this, because it’s doubtful we’ll ever see anything like it ever again.
>>the presence of actual themes
is this ChatGPT?
Oh yeah I’ll really miss the MoS take on Krypton. Wonderful design work and visuals that made it feel like an alien culture instead of just recycling the crystal motif from the Donner films - not that I have anything against the crystal designs, but they’ve been overused in other Superman media at this point.
Are you ready for the next Batman installment with Joker/Two Face/Penguin/Poison Ivy/Bane/Riddler as the villain? No? Too bad. That's all DC fans get. What? Were you hoping for the Justice League to assist New Genesis against Darkseid and the forces of Apokolips? A Green Lantern buddy cop movie? A psychological thriller starring The Question where every one of his outlandish tinfoil claims are proven right in the end? LOL, LMAO even. What are you, moronic? Take your batmans and stfu
I liked it when Superman's mom made a moving speech to his grieving partner and then it was revealed she was actually a random martian Black person
Man of Steel First Flight
one of the best things to come out of the DCEU is probably this Chris Evans / Pa Kent gif.
When Supersaar look at camera and called Luthor a banchod hundred krore BASTARD
>Shopping his hair to make him look more like Cavill
You Snydergays really are the most pathetic desperate homosexuals
Literally only man of steel. Snyder dropped the ball big time after that
>man of no charisma
lol
Sick burn bro
>man of stall
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU
Laughing at all the people who said Snydercut was never happen.
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU, if any?
Deadshot's line about how if his daughter's grades slip he wants the government to "white people dat shit"
My favourite part is when Zod throws a tank truck at Superman, and rather than stop it he elegantly dodges it and lets it crash and explode into the building behind him
I liked how it exposed this board as being full of midwits and pajeets who love Snyderslop
>10 years of garbage
>only two good movies
>one of them wasn't even supposed to be made/released
Do people actually stare at these glowering, frowning characters, talking in overly long pauses, while non-music drones on in the background, and think....
yeah I could watch this entertainment forever.
On my planet the S is the symbol for mope
Yes. Indians love that shit
SIR
sir take the poo to the loo
My favorite part was my moronic boomer dad asking me to see every film in the DCEU and crushing his hopes by saying "no".
You're a shitty son.
I wont lie Im a little sad.
Building the foundation of the DCEU on Man of Steel was a massive mistake. The worst thing is that MoS wasn't that bad but it made a lot of stupid choices that wouldn't have made for a compelling universe outside of evil Superman (which from BvS and ZS's JL, that was stupidly the plan).
Aquaman is the only good DCEU movie.
Despite how mediocre MoS was it seemed promising but ultimately was probably the biggest waste of potential in recent memory, maybe even more so than the SW sequels.
Even TDKR was better than anything that came out the last 10 years. I'd rather they move more to standalone stuff but they're going with a new universe, and probably after 1 or 2 movies in that underperformed the studio will 'course correct' again
>Even TDKR was better than anything that came out the last 10 years
I lIke TDKR but it absolutely is not better than Aquaman or WW.
What were your first thoughts when it was announced Affleck was cast as batman?
I remember my brother calling me while playing golf and we laughed about it but figured he'd probably be good
I was mad but I really liked it when I saw this picture
I was hesitant at first but then I remembered to trust in Snyder and it was perfect.
I laughed out loud when it was announced and when he appeared on screen. Worst batman yet. Snyder sucks.
Very confused because they were doing the Batman Superman crossover before Batman had his own movie, and doubly so cause it was inspired by Dark Knight Returns. I coped heavy thinking Affleck would be any good considering he was in a role directing at the time.
I laughed then and I'm still laughing now.
birthing the OH NO NO NO
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA meme for Cinemaphile
Good riddance. The MoS trailer made me think we were in for kino but instead they popularized the sky beam third act plot for a decade.
vagabond superman was so kino
RIP
Man of Steel
Extended cut of BvS, I still think it’s a very uneven film due to studio meddling but it has its moments and is still better than any Marvel movie past the first Iron Man
Justice League Snyder Cut for absolutely vindicating Snyder’s vision for these films and proving what absolute morons the suits at WB were for not just getting out of his way and letting him do his thing, also a sad glimpse into what could have been
Gunn Suicide Squad and Peacemaker were fun
Shazam was a great throwback to high-concept 80’s comedies like Big
Everything else was various shades of shit though, let’s be honest. Ayer Suicide Squad was a wounded animal of a film, Wonder Woman and Aquaman were passable but WW84 was unwatchable and supposedly Aquaman 2 is shaping up the same way, Birds of Prey was execrable, Shazam 2 was lacklustre and Flash was awful beyond reasonable measure.
I thought Man of Steel and Aquaman were great
I thought Wonder Woman was dogshit
Didn't watch the rest
I saw Man of Steel when I was 13, Cavill has been Superman in the public consciousness for 10 years. People erupted in cheers at the post credits scene of him in Black Adam. This was Superman's universe, everyone else was just living in it. The more they diverted from the somber realism of Man of Steel the worse the films got. And that's why Superman Legacy will likely not succeed, they said frick you to the public, Cavill is no more because some exec didn't like his attitude. And now we're going to try to copy Marvel for with the bright colors, happy tone and jokes because that's worked out great for us before.
> People erupted in cheers at the post credits scene of him in Black Adam.
You sperging out in an empty theater doesn’t count anon
?t=39
And my theatre for Flash had a huge laugh at the Clooney reveal. It doesn't mean shit
They laughed because his Batman was stupid and his cameo is a joke, both of which were true.
>Things that never happened
>Things that very much did
>source: my uncle works at Nintendo
>Post audio evidence of multiple audiences cheering in specific way as scene plays out
>source: my uncle works at Nintendo
moron
>post a selection of anecdotal evidences that supports his biased thesis.
Yes, your unle work at Nintendo. Nobody like that shit. If people liked it we would be here watching it being succesfull, and not being shilled by 4 cringelords from some DC subreddit
The original claim that you said never happened was people cheering at his cameo when they did.
the original claim, since it didn't specify, implyed that that was a gneralized phenomenon. And that's just a moronic claim.
>People erupted in cheers at the post credits scene of him in Black Adam.
It was just like this, wasn't it?
>we're going to try to copy Marvel
>we're
>that's worked out great for us before
>us
Kek
>The more they diverted from the somber realism of Man of Steel the worse the films got
man of steel was fricking shit, stop deluding yourself
>June 14, 2013 - June 27, 2023
It was never alive
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU, if any?
It ended. And meme, I guess. Witnessing the mewling meltdown of all those two dozens of snydertards had its moments
Kino is coming
Unironically how do I cope with the fact that the Snyderverse will never be restored I was listening to a synopsis of justice league 2 and 3 and it sounded like it would’ve been the most mind blowing cinema in years
>most mind blowing cinema
Did people pretend to like them as a joke only to have a bunch of total morons take the praise seriously and unironically adopt faux-pseud language of their praise as if it were serious? I avoided Snyder threads but I want to ask if the same thing happened with the DCEU as with the Star Wars prequels.
Yeah it's Poe's Law.
>Poe's Law
Plus autism.
Trolls and tomsawyer'd morons
I’m willing to give James Gunn a chance because I enjoyed guardians of the galaxy and part 3 was surprisingly pretty sad and not overly goofy but I understand what people here are getting at the Snyder edge won’t be there the Snyder movies took themselves and super hero mythology very seriously the James Gunn movies might get you in the feels but they’ll be crowd pleasers without the epic feel and I guess you could say melodrama of the Snyderverse
whats the point? its just gonna be the same shit again because they keep fricking flip flopping around and changing direction at the drop of a hat.
Gunn is such a fricking moron. He had the perfect Superman and fired him out of spite. But he knows he was perfect so he hires an actor that looks as close to him as possible. It's so fricking petty. Can't wait to see his shit movies fail.
None. DCEU Clark Kent and Batfleck are literally the worst.
Batman movies peaked with the Nolan trilogy, Superman peaked with Smallville/Superman returns
LANA PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU DON'T FRICK THIS BALD MANLET OR ELSE
Yep. 100 times more soul than any crap hollywood has farted out in the last decade
the batman is better than nolan shit and the reeves films are better than the garbage you posted
>the batman is better than nolan shit
DC peaked with Steppenwolf
snydercut steppenwolf was a funny middle manager guy
I miss the stephenwolf memes.
That’s kind of scary
Maybe it’s because I grew up watching Smallville but I don’t understand people’s obsession with Cavill as Superman. Sure he had the build, but he always came across as too European and sinister looking to play the part. The baldness didn’t help
I hope snyderBlack folk kill themselves like his moronic prostitute daughter
the only reason zack snyder isnt king is because they never let him finish justice league, imagine a universe with the snyder cut released first
they couldnt wait in order to compete with endgame, meanwhile james cameron takes 10 years for sequel, fricking israelites with no heart (or soul)
He is relentlessly handsome.
Aquaman was a pretty good movie and the first shazam movie had some decent elements
Also it was funny seeing all the damage controlling federal agents on this board after the suicide squad released
the mistake that ended the party was cancelling MoS2 for BVS in order to replicate the success of avengers rushing to JL. Every film is bad
knightmare batfleck was real capekino
>hey snyder what pops in your mind when you imagine the superman?
>a whiney mopey le maybe misunderstood homosexual
>visionary!
>What are your fondest memories of the DCEU, if any?
The kino.
