🙁
God, was the Resident Evil show the last thing he was in?
i think hes in john wick 4
Which is coming out next week, damn.
thank god, I would hate it if that garbage fire was the last thing he was in. RIP
The last job you had and the last thing that airs can be two separate things. For example, an actor's very last gig could be a shitty commercial he did in a week which comes out in one month, but the last thing that the public will see with his face on it could be some random action movie.
It's not like he finished up with John Wick 4 a month ago, he could've done a bunch of stuff that gets released out of order since then.
And the Ballerina spinoff, apparently.
Doubt he's in that now, because I don't think they started it or Continental yet. He should still be in John Wick 5 since they shot those back to back.
that, that new Hellboy game and that Percy Jackson tv show.
>new Hellboy game
Oh. Shit.
I forgot he was voicing him. Damn. Wonder if they finished or if they have to sadly recast.
ew
Oof, how are they going to fix that. He played an important part in that one.
Bob Iger just announced the second season is canceled. He also canceled the Hellboy game. Everything with Lance Reddick moving forward is canceled, not because he's dead but because he never had an iconic slave role.
Him playing Wesker just makes him look like Blade
the two minutes of that show featuring him as actual Wesker look silly as fuck. And yet they were the most accurate portrayal of Wesker down to being overpowered as fuck.
It's true. I just wish he did even more of the corny Wesker shit from the movies
He was the main villain for Vox Machina S3. They may have done some voice tapes already so the animators can match it up.but who knows, may have to recast him.
Fudge
HE'S VECNA!?
Nah, Thordak. They haven't got to Vecna yet.
That RE show was a definite dumpster fire but he was genuinely the reason I finished the season. I wasn't as familiar with his /toon/ work but I always loved Lance. This one hit me. RIP.
RIP. He was a good actor, always gave a good performance.
Please no.
John wick 4 was the last thing he was in, which releases next week
as for the last time we'll hear him, it'll probably be destiny 2 as he already recorded lines
>be destiny 2
i wasnt even aware he was a VA in D2
im gonna guess it was zavalla?
yeah it was Zavala
sucks because he was the best character in it
i prefered cayde because quips but yeah he had a fucking awesome voice
When the fuck did he play Falcon? How'd they pull that one off?
EMH
No shit? Never knew he was Falcon
>Zavala's dead
>it’s real
What the fuck
You're shitting me
Fuck. That sucks
He was amazing in The Wire
I am going to watch resident evil TV show tonight. FOR HIM
RIP LEGEND
Episode 1 here we go
Well shit that's outta nowhere
>died of "natural causes"
uh oh. /polchuds/ coming soon...
Heart attacks are scary
I don't think he knew anything about the Clintons, anon.
Phil Lamar rolling in his grave now that there is less competition for the black voice acting roles.
Don't watch Netflix Resident Evil. Do watch him in this and delivering "goddamn it mcnulty" levels of zingers.
Genuinely a really upsetting death.
What the fuck
I JUST saw him in Legend of Vox Machina. He was only 60, man...
It was the Vaccine.
If it was, it most likely aggravated some underlying issue.
HOLD THE FUCK UP
PLEASE SAY SIKE
It's real. Natural causes, apparently. No idea how at SIXTY, but...
Rip
Must have been that "suddenly" going around.
We stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars...
Mars won.
The only thing he never got was his iconic slave role
F
Rip
Red DICK
Aw man I hate this being how I find out. Fuck this gay earth.
>Look through his IMDB
>Can't recognize him from a single thing on there
RIP I guess?
>Red dick
i bet it wasn't
same, until I saw he was GHOST TRAIN
Really? He was Daniels in The Wire. He's the overarching bad guy in the Horizon games. He's been in all the John Wick movies. My personal favorite is his role in Corporate. Top fucking tier comedy.
>a fellow Corporatechad
/toon/ can be based sometimes
FUCK ALL Y'ALL
FUCK ALL Y'ALLll
He's easily the best character in the Horizon games, and was great in The Wire.
That voice of his oozes authority and intelligence.
rip
I only remember him from Quantum Break but he was pretty cool in that game
Holy shit, RIP. He wasn’t even that old man.
>He never got his iconic slave role
Literally who?
That actor who wanted to be Levar Burton.
They're saying he "died suddenly" of natural causes. He was 60, how does that happen?
It's just flavor wording to prevent lawsuits so that they can find out how he actually died.
Cancer, sudden illness, and various other health problems. Natural causes is just the vague and generic term given when they don't want to specify what it is. It's been that way for forever.
F
how on earth do those guys keep getting work
>No one here remembers him in Fringe
I remember. Rewatched that for the first time a few months ago, holds up really fucking well. It manages to find the balance between overarching paranormal plots and monster of the week episodes that X-Files always struggled with.
Reddick was also part of that weird window in television where every action/drama series had some really cool Black detective/agent character: You had Lance Reddick as Phillip Broyles on Fringe, Harry Lennix as Harold Cooper on The Blacklist, Eric King as James Doakes on Dexter, Jesse Martin as Ed Green on Law & Order and later as Joe West on The Flash, etc.
Transformers Prime had Ernie Hudson as Agent Fowler.
Wwhaaat?! Damn this is terrible, he looked like he was in good shape.
>His death was reported to be a result of natural causes.
Dude was only 60. That is code for a something else and I'm not even implying drugs.
My guess is some freaky sex accident.
I doubt it's anything nefarious. He could've had an aneurysm.
Apparently, the John Wick 4 premier was yesterday and he didn't attend, instead staying at home with his dogs. So either he already knew something was wrong or he just didn't feel well enough to go.
It literally happened today. They'll know more later.
RIP
He was Ra's al Ghul in Beware the Batman. He actually leaked that role way before it was supposed to because he got really excited about it in an interview and slipped. He also was a big fan of Justice League Unlimited.
Where the fuck is our sticky
Theres a sticky on /misc/, but yeah he deserves one here too, top voice acting
Motion to sticky.
Second.
Motion to deny. He never had an iconic slave role. I'm kidding, sticky this
Thirded
dunno if this counts but he's great as the captain in castlevania
That was a pretty likable character.
*yawn* Who?
Aw, I liked him in that season of America's Book Of Secrets. Weird to see him go like that.
fuckin hell mate…
rip
>some edgy Hispanic facebook page is shitting on Lance solely because of RE
My man didn't deserve that
>facebook page
There's your issue really
>The sticky on /misc/ is just people arguing over the vaxx
That’s every celebrity death on /misc/ these days, it used to be stuff like OHHHHHH where’s my sticky or just flat out respect for the person who passed on. It just makes me disgusted
But arent you disgusted that is now normal to hear of public figures dying at around 60? Its been like eight this year (the storyboarder from invincible was another one last month) three yeas ago that was very rare unless was someone known to have a scandalous life
dawg you realize we've been through a novel pandemic and life expectancy is shorter now depending on which type of coof you caught
I seen a study (pic related) that was done in early 2021 (pre-vax rollout) with like 1600 athletes that had caught the coof before and it showed that about 2.3% of them developed myocarditis or symptoms of it. Why do more people not talk about the connection between covid and this shit more?
I guess that's what you get for Netflix's Resident Evil.
Cool Sticky, /toon/
F
Damn, he played cool in John Wick.
RIP
F
His time voicing Hellboy was over before it began. Damn.
More like Lance Reddit.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCKING OWNED!
F
>It's fucking true.
Goddamn it all.
Sixty years old is too early, especially for someone who has access to the best medical treatments in the upper echelons of society.
>one of my favorite actors in The Wire
FUCK
F
I'll take which everone hates trannies the most
Nooooo, we lost best wesker.
I've only seen him in The Wire, but wow, hes been in all kinds of stuff. John Wick, Castlevania, Destiny, Vox Machina, apparently he was going to be in some Hellboy game and in some Percy Jackson show. RIP.
F
I know him mostly as based Daniels but recently liked him in Vox Machina. F
he was fantastic in tron uprising I remember the old /toon/ threads we were so hyped when he came back in the final episode
Rest in Peace
RIP
Best Eric Andre guest
Was he the one that got shot?
I thought this episode was 5 or 6 years old, but no, it's 10. Damn, what a body for a 50 years old. Pause.
He is one of the my favorite characters from Fringe.
>Fringe
Sell me on it. I remember seeing ads back in the day, but all I was interested in was Simpsons and Family Guy.
x-files but science, time travel and alternate dimensions
isnt that basically sliders?
i always get confused
Sliders is a new universe every episode. Fringe is they're exploring weird super science with the inevitable drop that future folk are fucking with the past and then the main character scientist is fucking with alternate realities so it's a bit of both.
Goodnight sweet prince
RIP in piece
;_;
