incorrect. bison, and many other ungulates, will leave very young members alone while forraging and grazing if they feel they're in a safe environment. this is most often an issue where urban deer fawns are left in a safe place by their mothers and stupid people like that guy think they're helping by picking them up

The bongs have a whole park dedicated to it. It's super rare now since most cattle barons don't just let cattle wonder off to live in the hills. Pigs getting out and going feral is super fricking common here though.

Nah you can try this with small animals
            >take a small rodent like a mouse or hamster
            >get it a mate to breed with
            >during labor pick up one of the babies
            >watch the mother immediately eat it
            Also works with bigger animals

This story perfectly exemplifies modern society. A man risks his life to do a good deed and save an animal only to be punished for the deed by state authoritarians who kill the animal afterwards insteadof rehome it. Literally demonic.

            >Ok so leave it drown next time then, got it.
yes, that's how nature is. now it's gonna wander over to humans all confused and die of starvation

I didnt say that at all ESL. I said domesticated animals have no issue with maternal instincts or abandoning young after being handled by farmers.

This confuses me because I watch a ton of those animal rehabilitation center videos and they always have those few animals who are too injured or human-socialized to reintegrate into nature, so they live at the center. Bisons are huge but they do this for elephants so why not the bison?
Killing it is sad but trying to blame the man is draconian. I've also watched countless "dude saves a drowning derr/fox/snake/ocelot cub" videos and I never see them be manhunted by police

I love how ignorant chuds are. You guys think the people at Yellowstone are wrong about the bison calf thing because…why exactly? What research on the topic have you done?

they could very well be wrong about their belief of what happens but they’re people that think about this stuff regularly. It’s not like they just made a random decision that touching wild bison is bad. They have evidence that it’s a bad thing

it’s so indicative of how moronic anti-vaxxers are too. If science supported the idea that the vaccine was a net negative, scientists wouldn’t support it. It’s not like scientists align with the government by default
