It was bipolar. A good episode, then a meh episode, then back and forth.
This man nailed it. Really does swing back and forth, it seems real scared to embrace the weird and run with it. Adds some real boring padding to every fun moment.
I thought the boat episode was pretty good when I saw it.

I watched a few, I think the other anon pretty much says it himself. There's some pretty good episodes and some pretty forgettable ones
The lawyer guy immediately became my favorite
I think the show is at its best when it focuses on the rivalry of the siblings, The grandpa or the Mom character. She's like an even more psychotic Peggy Hill. Stebe can be a bit boring but depending on what character he's playing off of he can be pretty entertaining in his own right. Also I won't lie, I really love the intro.
I riked it. Good balance between goofy shit, heart and not taking itself seriously but still somewhat grounded in reality.
I said before that I think is very formulaic and that can be a problem if it goes down for like 5 seasons and the entire thing of catching us off-guard with the sad stuff because everything around it so goofy can get old. But for now and for my tastes is great.

It's not cute. It is pretty decent for a 2020s adult swin show.
I was actually kinda impressed with that Theo Sr. flashback episode. They wound up making him much more compelling than I thought they could have and it comes down to him finally showing some genuine potential for changing his ways only for Ghost Kid to reveal it was all a vengeful wild goose chase to rub it in his face
It worked really well where in the end the ghost (taking the reality of their existence at face value) was also an awful little shit who saw Theo starting to turn over a new leaf and still choosing to indulge a cruel grudge that ensured that he would absolutely NEVER do anything but double down on the choices that had ruined ghost kid's life in the fist place
Yeah I feel that was easily the single best episode. Overall enjoyed the show way more than I expected
