i believe it's a callback to what he back when he first revealed himself: "stories are for putting children to sleep". His choice to act as the "villain" for this story to ease the tension between the other kingdoms so their people can sleep well at night.
>This guy totally will be Gira's dad that sold out to the space bugs won't he?
The episode is a Rita focus, so no. It's either Karras or Rita herself, or some being possessing either of them.

Nice backpedaling, moron. Still better than your moronic-ass theory that the 5th is Gira's father, delusional homosexual.
>This guy totally will be Gira's dad that sold out to the space bugs won't he?
Huh? It wasn't just Gira's dad who sold out. The entire line has been working for the space bugs since forever
Three weeks ago I was thinking they were taking Bugnarok's reconciliation too well for just 2 years of work that we didn't get to see making it feel unearned. That didn't at all diminish the pain and rage at Jeramie having to give it up and plunge his people into suffering as scapegoats. They're doing a really fricking bangup job at building up and capitalizing on the story's momentum episode to episode.
Reminds me of (my) similar reaction to Deathnarok's final scene: while I'm not completely sold on him having a good side just because he took care of that small tarantula shugod, it didn't diminish the weight of the scenes that follow.
In a way, not showing Gira and Jeremy's efforts worked out in the long term. Image how frustrating would this episode be if we had saw them painstakingly working to bring about peace between human and bugnarok only to have all their hard work go down the drain.
Might be the strongest episode of the show so far, and that's saying something. We like to meme him, but episodes like this are why Goroge is such an important character. Despite what the village woman said last episode, everyone was so quick to accept that the Bugnarok were behind everything. Everyone has prejudices they're hiding deep down and it doesn't take much to tear peace and progress to shreds. We are all Goroge, but we should strive to be better.
You don't even need Goroge or the Bugnarok for this. Just look at how the human countries were willing to go at each other throats and all it needed was an incident (granted a pretty big one like attempted regicide) and Hillbill fomenting some fear and distrust in the people. Really shows that even if it's population and rulers are good people, Chikyuu's peace is tenuous and fragile at best and all it needs is a spark for everything to blow up just like in real life.
You'd think that ending would change the status quo more but Jeramie is still fighting with the heroes in the preview. You'd think they would keep their distance for a while just to keep appearances.
This is one the things where we would have really benefitted from seeing the Bugnarok integrated with human society during the timeskip. That said, we do see a bunch of Sanagim in Ishabana in the preview, maybe Jeramie is staging a fake attack to justify being there.
>The spacebugs attack. >The kings fo after them >Jeremy goes to help, under the excuse of 'those bugs will NOT conquer MY planet!' >the battle ends, Jeremy fricks off, or attacks the kings if they try to say something.
I agree, normally I am a pessimist to the core but with how good this series has been so far I have actual hope that there is going to be a decent bit of writing to explain it.

Anon, Jeramie tried to calm the citizen down, not to fool the space bugs, as long as the citizen is not in the known, he can even have an orgy with all the kings.
I really liked the ambiance of this episode, it went for a style and tone that's completely different from the rest of the show, sort of reminded me of how some old toku shows did drama. But there were definitely better ways to resolve this conflict than what Jeramie and the kings went for. It was a very poetic and stylish approach to squeeze the most drama it could without really caring about pragmatic options. But this is the same franchise where a guy chose to die on a bench just to not ruin his friend's wedding day (without considering how that would affect the rest of his friend's lives from that point forward)
so dramatic flare is part of the charm I guess.
Doubt it. Given how early we got the leaks for Causcus and Godkingohger, they were definitely planning this part 1 and 2 thing outright.
The crazy thing is they said to look forward to part 2 being even more of a ride and they've been living up to that promise so far. There's only one extra robo to sell as H2 merchandise to boot so it looks to me like they decided to tell the creatives to go nuts and do whatever they wanted for part 2 as long as they manage to shill Kyoryujin and King somehow.
>Given how early we got the leaks for Causcus and Godkingohger, they were definitely planning this part 1 and 2 thing outright.
If anything, it would be the leaks of nu-Kyoryuger merch that pointed out a shift in the second half of they show, not the usual endgame mecha getting an early UNOFFICIAL reveal, moron.
>in or out of the universe >main series has everyone literally disregarding him, telling him to frick off, and treating him like the schizo he is till the end >shitty movie happens and turns him from a dork to an outright unlikable person
He really is treated like shit writing and inuniverse like you said.
I fricking love Jiro, he’s a turbo moron and a freak. He also works as the only Donbrothers who actively wants to be a hero but ends up as the worst one of all.
Why is Hillbill so sexy goddamn. Both the VA and the suit actor are killing it cuz the way she moves and emotes with her hands fits her voice super well.
>Frozen Imprisonment is a Secret Art for locking away evil the law can't touch >There's a secret to my eye >Rita gets a streak of white hair after using it once >the former Queen, Karras's hair is half white implying she used it several times throughout her reign
The comedic scene with his supposed coffin would be really weird if he was since Gira didn't even react. It'll probably be some sort of Dybowski reveal again when they need saving and then they'll do the flashback thing showing the plan

Here's a way to determine whether a recurring character in Toku is dead or not, newbies: if a picture of the actor with a bouquet of flowers pops up, that means they're done working for the show unless there's some change of plans during production. If they've got no flowers after a death scene, they're gonna return.

Not even just top tier, best 6th.
They outright:
Contribute to the story significantly and are integral to the plot
Do not suffocate the other cast members with their presence
Have excellent chemistry with each of the cast members, especially the main character
Aren't overpowered or monotonous in their antics, like serving a single repeated gag or something
Isn't a Gary Stu or a vague mysterious meme character where the rest of the cast drop to single digit IQ to ignore their antics
Really makes last year's sixth, Jiro, worse than he already is
Donbrother's cast shone mostly in the relationship between the Donbrother and their Noto, and in Inu and Kiji's case it was both Natsumi and Sononi.
Taro had Sonoi, and Oni had Sonoza.
Saru and Jiro were just a whole bunch of nothing most of the time, and a lot of the early episodes did flounder quite a bit, before Inoue did his usual crazy. I mean I did enjoy Donbrothers, garbage CGI and all, more than the regular Sentai season but it was still very flawed when it came to handling all of its characters properly, especially Jiro - Why was he even there?
Jiro had a purpose early on by showing that the Donbrothers (sans Inu) had bonded with Taro in spite of everything and that he wasn't the worst possible outcome for a leader, even the episode after Taro returned had Jiro attempt to murder everyone for daring to not like him. Problem is the show runs out of things to do with him quickly.

Let's go for 5. I feel like they're building up to extra special mecha fights to deal with the generals. Poor Kuwagon's probably going to get taken out of action for a while though.
Just binged the last 3 episodes. This show has done a full 180 on me. I hope it can continue being this good. Also, I haven't been paying attention, is it actually true that King is coming back?
this was great
The angry royal arms after the applause was unfiltered kino.
Gira was so impatient he just took the camera before the roll call ended.
Dream is dead, burry it
>Still could
*still couldn't find the OST when Jeramie unmasked himself
>Shazam 2
there, now no one can shitpost about it
Also I guess he's doing this because there are no more Bugnarok so it's fine to put a target on him?
Oh wait I spoke too soon. I guess they really do breed and multiply.
I mean
This will never be you.
I want to be a third party, they're both great.
what does this mean?!
It feels kinda weird to have this scene but then have Jeramie just showing up again next week.
Remind me of the Goodbye Starninger fakeout
i believe it's a callback to what he back when he first revealed himself: "stories are for putting children to sleep". His choice to act as the "villain" for this story to ease the tension between the other kingdoms so their people can sleep well at night.

So the white part in the previous Gokkan's rule's hair is because whatever ice magic bullshit she can do drains her life force or something.

Nobidy sold out, schizo, Rcules wasn't even aware Kamejim was Bosshimar.
>Rcules wasn't even aware Kamejim was Bosshimar
So?
Racles wanted to unite the world to oppose Digdug
Whether that is true or not, what the frick does that have to do with Gira's dad not being the only king to be working for the space bugs?
I dunno I'm NTA, just stating an independent unrelated thought
That entire scene where the kings are just PISSED at Hillbill sent chills.
Looks to me that they are just pissed at how powerless they are, after declaring war to the Space Bug King

I'm not saying Goroge was necessary this episode, just that he's ultra important to the themes of the show as a reactionary figure.
Kaijin pantyshot.
PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP.

What was the insert song that played this epsiode?
Jeramie's Insert Song "The Prophet"
The only that could've made the episode better is if she slumped over dead after Yanma blasted her head to bits
No, the King-Ohgers have to despair over their powerlessness in order to make their eventual triumph over Dugded and the Jesters much more satisfying.
>Jeramie invents racism
>Jeramie cures racism
>But now Jeramie realizes the only way to save the day is to bring racism back
What the frick
>Black guy has no choice but to restart the race war as a distraction after the rich goes after the poor during the class war
He's an overdramatic b***h.
He can't help it, it's in his nature to create intriguing stories
King-Ohger is crazy good this week
Every part two episode blows part one out of the water.
I'm honestly starting to wonder if there was a retool behind the scenes, because the shift in quality is so strong.
Doubt it. Given how early we got the leaks for Causcus and Godkingohger, they were definitely planning this part 1 and 2 thing outright.

It REALLY was! Holy shit.
Jeramie and ASMR-bro are my two fav characters in this series, and I love all the characters.
Jeramie's character and suit are so much better than Zox and Jiro's, it's unreal.
>Jiro
Very low bar. Dude's probably the least respected sixth, in or out of the universe
Even Noel is a better sixth than Jiro
>in or out of the universe

I fricking love Jiro, he’s a turbo moron and a freak. He also works as the only Donbrothers who actively wants to be a hero but ends up as the worst one of all.
Racism saves the day
>multiple episodes without giant robot fights
>multiple episodes without monsters of the week
>next episode most likely also has no motw/giant robot
holy shit
The generals are essentially serving as MotW for now
What I've learned today
>Being Jeremy is suffering
>Hillbill is absolutely despicable and needs a swift death
Great episode btw
but she's so sex
Her mind control voice is sex yes
I'm five episodes in, wasn't really feeling it and was thinking about dropping but then Rita showed up so I decided to give it another chance.
Why is Hillbill so sexy goddamn. Both the VA and the suit actor are killing it cuz the way she moves and emotes with her hands fits her voice super well.
>fantastic character based episode
>still squeeze in a great fight at the end
Seriously one of my favourites so far
This song was kinda lame when they first played it, but now it's goated in this episode
But what is Racles doing?
Being dead.
Dead as frick mate
The canyon is comfy, he just want to rest and relax there.
Having sex with Suzume, who's also mysteriously absent
>Frozen Imprisonment is a Secret Art for locking away evil the law can't touch
>There's a secret to my eye
>Rita gets a streak of white hair after using it once
>the former Queen, Karras's hair is half white implying she used it several times throughout her reign
waitaminute
"Jeramie" and "Gerojim-chan" were trending again when the episode hit. It was even among top twitter trends for Japan
So... when is Racles coming back? He's not DEAD dead, is he?
Racles sama will come back as the true hero and show Gira and the others what a true king is
Shut up Goroge
He'll come back once it seems like Gira is becoming more and more like him to tell Gira that he should rule his own way
The comedic scene with his supposed coffin would be really weird if he was since Gira didn't even react. It'll probably be some sort of Dybowski reveal again when they need saving and then they'll do the flashback thing showing the plan

What if Racles return as a ghost or a dream?
You know what, I'm just gonna say it. Give Rita her overcoat back. She looks naked without it.
hillbilly has such an unsettling laugh
I wonder if sawashiro is doing that straight up or they are filtering it somehow
he's gonna be a real ugly son of a b***h
PLEX goated as usual
>no mention of Himeno's feet
is this an alternate Cinemaphile?

Jeramie and Gira are one of my favorite Sentai friendships by now. Real bros.
Jeramie is a top tier sixth after this episode and I don't know how anyone could argue otherwise.
And just 4 months ago we were worried that'd he'd turn out to be another horrible frenchman.
