Never bothered. Other than them changing things for the sake of changing them, was it any good?

It's been 30 years and some of the VAs are literally dead.
I get that half of the adults would have had to be recast because most of them, like you said, are either retired, dead, or too old, but they could've at least hired actual fricking voice actors instead of this celebrity bullshit.
As a millenial, before there was Spongebob there was Rugrats. Rugrats was THE Nick show. It had a great run, it was well made, it was fun going through an entire decade with it. Why can't kids just watch that show? It was just an overall very satisfying cartoon and really, TV show in general. It was pretty highly praised back then.
I really am not tempted by this show because of the reasons
states. It's just not Rugrats. Made me realize how delicate the original formula was, kind of like the original Simpsons.
They nerfed Angelica, which I never realized was so important to the original Rugrats. If you don't have Angelica being as mean as she was in the original, it's like it makes the entire show bland.

I didn't want to pay, and Dill's in it. When the movie came out, I went to the theater to see it, and in 4 minutes I knew a hallmark of my childhood was dead. Deedee should have aborted Dill. He's brought nothing but pain.

I watched half of the first season.
It was okay.
I couldn’t make it 3 episodes. 5 minutes into the third and I was checking how much time was left in the episode and dreading having to sit through the remainder, so I just stopped. Few shows get me to stop in the middle of an episode. Usually I can finish but just decide not to watch the next. This reboot is so boring I could actually feel myself inching closer to my eventual death every second.

I tried giving a chance but I only thought it was boring and I have some major autistic issues with how it looks. I think visually is almost offensive of how good everyone looks and this soft almost airbrush edges. Is like everything is made of velvet or something. From 3D shows is probably one of the better lookings too, if you compare with the new Dora as example the people behind it did a pretty good job at translating the characters and it does look very pleasing and warm.
And that's what i kinda hate it, everything from Klasky Csupo seem like it was on crack and it was so fricking ugly and soulful, I mean, look at their fricking logo. it was the point so it kinda upsets me a little.
I tried watching the show and I was just bored by it, in the og you had all those visuals accents that made at least interesting to watch. This looks nice, but I don't know, I wish it had more texture or something for me to give more fricks for the visuals alone.
