>Ruin your entire show reputation and history with just one awful plot twist in your final episode
I'm kinda impressed they were doing very well for 3 seasons then they just screw themselves in the last minute

>one awful plot twist in your final episode
Which one?
You know which one anon
Webby being Scrooge clone daughter
I don't even remember this.
That's how horrible plot twist works your mind delete them as a Self defense mechanism
>anons just taking the piss
>google the last episode to find the twist
>he's not joking
>its an actual clone daughter
What the flying frick?
A clone daughter or perfect copy daughter?
bradford needed scrooge to have a child to get an artifact. he gets scrooges incomplete dna and uses it to create an heir.
You can't blame the reputation just on that plot twist, it was a long decline starting with the Three Cabs episode for just not getting things right
Camp lazlo had the same thing happened to it
They try to make a final episode plot twist that was so horrible people delete the fact that they watch it in the first place
>Forgot to add file
I stopped caring when the staff started complaining they couldn't use Donald properly because of his voice, so as a joke they re-cast him for a bit.
But having dropped the show, hearing about that plot twist confounded me. It seemed incredibly stupid, pointless, and unconnected from a ton of the show.
Maybe it was a final frick-you on the way out?
Camp Lazlo doesn't really have continuity though, so I think the joke works in that regard. If it wasn't the last episode, Lumpus could just come back and they'd just hand-wave it as another joke a season or two later. I think the bigger issue was that it was totally unrelated to the rest of the episode, and that the episode itself was incredibly bland for a finale.
The schizo in me thinks, even if they long planned it, part of it was meant as taking the piss towards the Three Cabs show where AMJ were important secondary characters and ruin it to people
Camp Lazlo was episodical, silly and didn't attempted to create a story.
That final episode was funny and epical, thanks to this.
INB4 Don Rosa poster
Wtf is that?
>Nu-Ducktales
Does no one else think that making darkwing duck an in-universe show was fricking stupid?
Yes.
In fairness, Season 3 was such a car crash that it almost feels like a fitting ending for that season. Season 2 had its high highs and low lows, but Season 3 was bad idea, after bad idea, after really bad idea.

I hated the final and the twist they did but I still enjoy the show and the characters
Besides, it's nothing a headcanon or 2 can't fix
>Oh no, someone is enjoying a show that I don't like! Better post an image of a guy with a sign, that should stop them from liking it!
Season 1 was good.
Season 2 was wasted potential.
Season 3 was awful.
These shows can be fixed by cutting the runtime with this formula.
>New episode count = first season + ((total episode count - first season) / 2)
While Castlevania has been irredeemably shit since Season 2, I feel vindicated about the ending since I said the show was about loving the (metaphorical) Antichrist.
Sometimes I wonder if there was some behind-the-scenes drama after Season 1, because it feels like the show got lost during Season 2.
Do you mean Ducktales or Castlevania? I think that Season 1 gives the show its identity and it is the best foot forward.
>New episode count = first season + ((total episode count - first season) / 2)
Castlevania = 18 episodes from 32 episodes (56.25%)
Ducktales 2017 = 46 from 69 (66.67%)
Korra = 32 from 52 (61.54%)
Steven Universe = 106.5 from 160 (66.56%) (I didn't watch most of it so I don't know if this applies)
Young Justice = 62 from 98 (63.27 %)
Season 2 of DT17 was pretty close to bad. Della and Donald were pointlessly written into and out of the story respectively. Old Disney has been mostly vindicated in how it treated Della. I don't hate Della but I have these weird fantasy situations where her family chastise her for being bawd like one of the triplets assuming that Della simply does know who is their bio-father.
If the only way you can write Della into the story is by writing out other characters, you have a problem. It doesn't help that Della doesn't really have much of a relationship with anyone besides Dewey and Scrooge. By season 3, no one knew what to do with her.
Dude, the whole third season was terrible, also like you forgot about this tweet.
That fricking pedo. Remember he blocked me on twitter for no reason.
Don’t care, heron is still great
Isn’t it canon that she was erased from time forever.
Yeah
good thing they got in all of those cameos to make the cast bigger!
The worst sin was killing Duckworth and make Scrooge an irrelevant loser.
Ducktales (1987)
>had mini arcs during first season
>Adventure around the world on 2nd season
>Slice of life 3rd season
>Scrooge was a smart man with some defects, and he learned from his mistakes.
>nephews were voiced by one actress and were conscious they were not the main protagonists (Scrooge was)
>Huey, Dewey, and Louie showed being smart and helpful without being annoying
>The show at least used to teach you some life lessons, even in one episode taught about economics.
>simple but unique style art.
>Ended their series with a mini arch
Cucktales (2017)
>Makes the adults look useless, moronic and weak while praised children as wise, strong and who did not obey their elders.
>Duckworth: Killed for unknown reasons.
>Ms. Beakly is a tomboy bc the original one was sexist and burthurtted feminists.
>The opening is a bait: Shows beagle boys who appears no more than five episode, and shows the villains who appeared on 1st episode to never be seen again.
>Random stories with almost not lineal plot.
>Pure pop cultural references
>Shows characters from another disney cartoons as recurring ones, despite just appear one only time
>Has too many characters to the point the show has no idea what to do with them.
>Flintheart Glomgold was overused to the point he ended up being burned up, doing random stuff nwith no reason.
>One of the staff is a pedophile duck girl lover
>The final episode was the worst of all
I agree with the above that Ducktales ended well with its really underrated movie (the one with Gene, Dijon and Marlock the Magician) and as for the Ducktales reboot, if there's any good value it's how Daisy Duck and her relationship with Donald. I can say that Gladstone and Donald relations have done well, the rest is despair.
Ducktales (1987)
>Children out maneuverer and out smart adult opponents
Cucktales (2017)
>Children physically fighting grown adults
These two images are literally the only fricking thing anyone ever brings up about this shit which tells me either (1) it's not very good and/or (2) autists are really dedicated to spamming these images
2, it's definitely 2
I've been rewatching the show lately and you can really tell the twist was probably a last ditch attempt to keep the show on the air. It really does come from nowhere. It also kneecaps their entire message of the show. They spend two seasons building up this idea that family doesn't need to be related by blood, and then right at the finish line, oh yeah Webby is Scrooge's clone.
And yeah I'm still pissed that Lena was implied to join the main cast at the end of S1 but she just gets shoved off to the side.
Its the second. They have shown up late to DT 2017 threads in the past. But even if the thread has 300 posts they will still post their pic of the old man or the tweet. Its all so tiresome.
The show went to shit after they reintroduced the mom and made her the maryest sue to ever sue. Just work with the female characters you have. And, relatedly, the obsession with continuity fricked the show over. I get that writers want to make grand narratives but sometimes just episodic shows with light overall narratives are better. When episodes serve the plot you have the problem of making episodes be really boring.
It's 2. But also 1.
IMO
Season 1: great
Season 2: pretty good but could've been better
Season 3: some good episodes mixed with mostly wasted potential episodes and a shitty finale
This show needed more naked duckies
Yes
You can tell the finale was rewritten last minute because the show cancelled.
Never watched season 3 so I have fond memories.
Good
I love Boyd
He’s genuinely a cute character and nothing is wrong with him but his big ass head makes me laugh
he was made for headpats
Howso?
MODS = homosexualS
Original Ducktales is better!
I liked the Donald and Daisy romance.
The third season shouldn't have existed
