I'm too young, I do know that this movie and scott pilgrim ruined generations of people, but I never watched either movies because they look like shit.

the average american has a mutilated penis that has lost most of it's sensitivity and then they wrap it in a plastic layer in order to have sex leaving almost no sensation what's so ever. yet the entire culture is obsessed with promiscuous sex
if you think that this series of movies started the trend of promoting promiscuity and casual sexual relationships, then I would say that it didn't start that trend, but it certainly didn't help i suppose.
i liked civ 5, i haven't played other though, should i play the earlier ones or were you just memeing
I could see that. One of my friends through elementary and high school became stressed and bummed out after he saw this movie, and he'd always complain about his virgin status to our friends and I, or he'd get upset when another one of us lost our virginity, believing that if all of the guys he knew lost their virginity before him, then that was a clear indication that it wasn't going to happen. He was so desperate, he broke up with a cute redhead who wasn't quite ready to go beyond third base for a fat sunken-eyed trailer trash pig who blew him the first time they hung out.
He didn't end up doing anything like that. He's actually a father of two and he really loves his kids (even if the mother is a dumb gross b***h). His self-esteem was lower than most people I knew, though he never took it out on others, save for himself.
> Except the message of the film was that sex wasnt that important
If that were indeed the message, then none of them would've gotten laid at the end because it wasn't that important.
The message of this film is that women are things, exemplified in the plot thread where dickface webcasts his russkie classmate's nude body without her knowledge or permission, and not only is the the only one who didn't face any consequences, but in the process he destroyed her educational future in America and sent her back to her hellhole country, and she doesn't have the agency or confidence to see the situation for what bullshit it was and remains in contact with him. Frick, the text "Women are things" should've faded onto the screen over the final shot of the film before credits.
>If that were indeed the message, then none of them would've gotten laid at the end because it wasn't that important
Weird take, but Cinemaphile is allergic to anything barely approaching nuance so i guess thats why you end up in this all or nothing mindset
This movie made me feel like shit as a young girl but also taught me further the reality that boys and men are just toys and frickbois. It didn't sugarcoat life, this is how men are and how they view women. There is no escape. Disney is too idealistic, although messages slipped through like Aladdin faking his background = men will say anything aka lie to get women
The main guys don't even have an arc, the only change they make is that they finally "get some". They spend the whole movie praying for sex, and in the end they all get it on the same damned night, only to brag to each other about it at the hot dog joint the next day. These guys are fricking morons, and the lady characters are only there to serve them.
>"Dude we have to lose our virginity before le college!" >"Save it for marriage? No way! People will make fun of me and I'll be lame and less skilled if I don't do it or something..."
It did ruin society.
i think it started the trend of having social stigma surrounding not losing your virginity

American Pie is a generic sex comedy and its not nearly as degenerate or crude as 80s comedies. Dumb zoomer moron
explain
this is just some shitty forgotten comedy dude
Why a pie though, why not fricking something else
did you even watch the movie?
Have you heard the phrase "as American as apple pie"? It's supposed to represent America, and a israelite is penetrating it with his mutilated penis.
All Americans have cut dicks, they are spiritually israeli.
I'm American and I don't.
I still have a foreskin, hahaha at you for not having one

Civilization was ruined ever since Civ V came out
if you think that this series of movies started the trend of promoting promiscuity and casual sexual relationships, then I would say that it didn't start that trend, but it certainly didn't help i suppose.

What school did he shoot up?

>American pie invented sexual promiscuity
No it didn't but I felt like it was he last hurah. Like a last call before the party is truly over. This and Woodstock 99.
No you just got old and stopped paying attention. Congrats on not clinging to low brow high school comedies
Except the message of the film was that sex wasnt that important
Dont know how a raunch com went over your head

Hmm, a bloke who defends a film like this believes that they can school anyone on nuance, you must be an American...
>t. didn't get invited to parties in college
You blow your father.

if that was true the simp economy wouldn't be so huge
What's it like being an old lady?

I like sex
