Which is funny because he started off as the most over-the-top character just talking about sex constantly. Then they gave him several arcs that show that he's reasonable and cares about people
They realized he was the only competent actor on the show besides Mark Proksch (whom they wasted an entire season on probably the worst bit in TV history)

>probably the worst bit in TV history
I thought some of the zoomer stuff was funny like his lego youtube channel but the song and dance shit was awful. Especially since it dovetailed into the club arc which was a huge waste of time and wasn't very funny either

The zoomer stuff was funny but only really in a "I'm an adult and I also hate zoomers" way which I guess makes it kind of work. I still think it was a total waste of the character considering how well practically every previous Colin bit hit before baby Colin except for maybe some of the overtly stupid bits like Colin farting over and over

Colin works best as a commentary on emotionally draining people, but the kid arc took every single opportunity to do that away from his character. Practically a different character for an entire season

I mean to be fair I think the point of that arc was "Children are emotionally draining" but that bit only works for a bit before it gets tired. His entire joke was just "Hey guys guess what? Roblox!" 30 times over the course of the season
i don't know what she's doing on what we do in the shadows
i actually really like her in the what we do in the shadows
thought the last season was great too. it's the only show in years i've been genuinely excited to see the new season of
>thought the last season was great too >Conclusion of both over arching plots of the season were obvious from episode 2 >Some of the least funny bits in the entire show
Come on bud
i honestly thought guillermo was bullshitting his family just to distract them from the vampires when he told them he was gay.
he was written so stereotypically softboy gay that i thought they were setting up a bit.
Genuinely that was one of the worst aspects of the show. They set up this potentially funny situation to just be a "lol I'm gay" reveal. All of the hints should've been a red herring for some kind of joke and not just virtue signalling homos in a show where literally every character (even pre-flanderization) has been shown to be a gay
Basically pulled a Mac from always sunny. Had fun with gay jokes but then pulled a 180 and expected the audience to take the "reveal" seriously. Bizarre writing
It's just a symptom of modern TV comedy writing. People start to actually like characters that they aren't supposed to like so writers feel like they have to force these comedic, often awful characters into having these sort of arcs that don't add much. I think the later seasons miss the point that we don't really like the cast as people (except maybe Guillermo, but he's more endearing in a "He has a shit job that sucks" kind of way) but as characters that we like seeing in funny situations and want to succeed only so they can get into more situations. It's why we also get waaaay more situations where it's just our characters talking in rooms with each other and not interacting with the world which is pretty much the whole appeal of the format.

Whens the last time they did this? The vegas episode?

I just looked back at Season 4 for the sake of trying to find an example and I don't think there's any instance of them interacting with the real world in public. Or even interacting with the underworld in a particularly interesting way (night market was over the top, all of the night club scenes were just boring)
Vegas was good and I'll admit that my Reddit brain lit up with Nandor talking about the Big Bang Theory so much
I thought you were talking about 30 Rock, because I never got around to watching this show. Sad thing is I actually like her moronic stand-up, and she probably could've been good on 30 Rock if her character wasn't so shitty and useless.
She was OK in 30 Rock. But like most of her characters she was very one note. Lots of "I am sex woman" jokes that fall flat once you hear them for the 10th time in an episode.

Nandor getting into BBT exclusively through the lens of a slot machine was a highlight of that entire season

Him having an existential crisis because he played a BBT slot machine and looked up what the actual theory one was a pretty neat way to set up an arc. Too bad it ended up being boring and stupid like most of the season 4 arcs

>She was OK in 30 Rock
She didn't do a bad job, but the character did nothing for me at best, and at worst was just an annoying waste of screentime.
Sucks that she gets brought in for such shitty roles, because she has the ability to be funny. I checked out Bob's Burgers only because I have a lifelong love for Jon Benjamin rooted in Home Movies, but she's good there, and her stand-up isn't great but I like it anyway.

Based.
Also did you notice Melissa was in the last season of Bob's burgers? Same VO and outfit. Plus she was a soccer player I think

Nope, I've only seen the first couple of seasons of Bob's Burgers, but I'll get around to the rest eventually. Same with Archer.
But thank you. Jon Benjamin is funnier for my money than just about anyone on any of these shows, and whenever people write someone like Kristen Schaal into their show, they probably could've just written in H. Jon Benjamin

Yes

Eh, to each his own
You have low self esteem if you find that "hot".
i don't know what she's doing on what we do in the shadows
She's singlehandedly the worst addition besides the extreme flanderization of the characters
>extreme flanderization of the characters

that show is trash specially after the third season.
you must be gay.
She was a better Hurshe Heartshe than Amy Sedaris.
>We need a voice "actor" who does the same voice in every show
is her mouth perpetually filled with an excessive amount of spit
I think she's great.
I literally dropped heart she holler the moment she was recasted never turned back...I love that slag face
i feel bad for you
the amy schumer of filler female comedians
i want to hear her high pitched squirming as i insert my large veiny throbbing male member into her snusnuhole.
weird chicks just do it for me.
