Musicals are the best way too filter for kino actors
Just fricking look at all the kino actors in phantom of the opera: Gerald butler, emmy rossum, patrick wilson, ciaran hindis
>Musicals are the best way too filter for kino actors
Do you think so? For me, I judge actors based on range. One of my favourite actors is Colin Farrell, who can play both hero or villain, and he can also do Comedy. Most actors can only play one character, which is not good acting.
Stars is beautiful as frick and I have been listening to it on repeat after finishing Volume 1 Fantine a couple weeks ago. His gruff, masculine voice is Javert. My only problem is the segue at the end of the song where he has his arms spread and the camera zooms in near his crotch is sorta awkward.
%3D
The transition scene at the very end, I think is awkwardly shot.
Fat Russel Crowe would actually fit the role better for a sequel since the real Jack Aubrey from the book is fat.
He has a 10/10 trad Stacy wife though which is cool.
>gladiator >a good year >the nice guys >cinderella man >a beautiful mind >master and commander
He's starred in kino many times but he will be remembered for Les Miserables memes even though I like that movie too
you remember he was in it, but it's not what you remember him for when you think of him. If that's what you remember him for then you aren't a fan of his or you generally just look for the worst in things.
Why are you telling me what I think? Are you a woman? You telling me I "look for the worst in things" is called projection. Tell me more about how I think after I filter the thread. Keep in mind the rest of the board is filtered too. Figure out how you can reply in that scenario.
I notice that a lot of people accuse good looking actors of not being good and I think its cope. I've heard people say Brad Pitt isn't a very good actor, which is simply false.
he's great
Of course he's good, dipshit. Just because he's fat now doesn't mean he's not good. Name a shitty Russel Crowe movie.
The road rage one.
I'm not saying he makes shitty movies, but I've seen some people over the years say that he can't emote or shit like that.
The nice guys was mid as hell
I said a shitty movie, you fricking homosexuals. Robert DeNiro has made shitty movies out the ass.
Easy there russell. Don’t eat me
Virtuosity
Virtuosity was awesome. What the frick are you on about? I hope Sid 6.7 murders you in your sleep.
Denzel ruins that one. Keanu would have been perfect as Parker Barnes.
The Robin Hood one.
Eh it wasn't great, but if that's his worst film then he has done well.
He's decent but he does struggle with accents sometimes.
>he does struggle with accents sometimes.
thank goodness the final 2 seconds wasn't edited out I was baffled on how I have never seen this episode
>asking if one of the greats is "good"
They put Russell Crowe in every single genre of movie, and it worked every time. He was even in a musical (Les Miserables).

He’s won best actor in a musical picture

MAKING MOVIES MAKING MUSIC AND FIGHTING ‘ROUND THE WORLD
He's alright but I hate the fact that he knows it
He was cool in nice guys
He's an excellent fricking actor
hell yeah
He was great in A Beautiful Mind. He nailed autistic guy.
yes hes good
starred in one of the greatest movies ever made.
he should make a sequel and have it produced by Mel Gibson.
Fat Russel Crowe would actually fit the role better for a sequel since the real Jack Aubrey from the book is fat.

he's a great actor that chose the Brando path in terms of self destruction. Excellent range and pathos. He just loves to over indulge.

no one but musical fans even remember he was in that.

I'm not a musical fan, and I remembered because it was a non-standard role for him.
you remember he was in it, but it's not what you remember him for when you think of him. If that's what you remember him for then you aren't a fan of his or you generally just look for the worst in things.

fine speech, anon. Quit clowning
I am more of a Victor Hugo fan and I think he did the role justice. He’s just not a great singer and it shows in some parts more than others.
Black Javert is also great
I notice that a lot of people accuse good looking actors of not being good and I think its cope. I've heard people say Brad Pitt isn't a very good actor, which is simply false.
it's poos and other nonw-whites.
Like in Cavill threads the terms they like using is "Charisma Vacuum"
The internet definitely feels a lot more brown in recent years.
Brad Pitt is a good actor, but he needs to go batshit like he did in 12 Monkeys again, his best roles are when he's being unconventional.
>has prey eyes
>is an alpha chad
looksmaxxingbros...not like this....
He was great in A Good Year
The Nice Guys.
