>S1 and 2 unanimously considered the best thing the MCU has done in years

What went wrong?
Both seasons had barely any plot to discuss.
S1 was okay, but the ending left me unsatisfied because it was all just to set more movie shit up. And I feel vindicated that I hated Jonathan Major's acting at the end and he ended up being shit and ultimately ruining everything they set up.
I refuse to watch S2.
Also this.
The endings and plot points lacked anticipation to be talked about on a weekly basis.
MCU fatigue. And S2 dipped pretty hard quality wise. I'd rather rewatch Legion.
>S2 dipped pretty hard quality wise.
it really, really did. couldnt even finish it.
>>S1 and 2 unanimously considered the best thing the MCU has done in years
by who? reddit??
I saw barely any complaints from Cinemaphile when the last episode aired but no discussion followed. Just "It was kino. Great ending, good music." and then everyone moved on.
Those were shill trying to get the board talking but it's one of those situations where even shills baiting wasn't enough to get people talking.
Pretty much this. If it was unanimously hated, there'd be the threads every day.
>??
Very effeminate. I suggest you stop doing that.
cause that Black folk drama lol. multiverse is pretty shit and boring too
People either watched to see if he showed up or dropped it when he did.
I watched it for Owen Wilson buddy cop kino.
Watch his other buddy movies, Loki gets too gay. Mostly in S2 but episode 5 was really pushing it. They wrote it like a 50 first dates parody.
>What went wrong?
It's slop, every episode ruins the stakes of the previous one. The writers should probably be killed.
>I watched it for Owen Wilson buddy cop kino.
This is the only thing that kept me going through it but even this is pretty weak and barely lasts a few episodes. They just invent problems so the next episode can invent solutions. There's no overarching mystery or villain to solve/take down.
No one has watched any of these garbage series, moron.
umbrella academy does everything better
>>S1 and 2 unanimously considered the best thing the MCU has done in years
No moron.
I thought the first episode of the first season was kind of interesting, but the rest of the season was boring. Didn't bother with season two.
only the scenes at McDonald's from season 2 I actually remember
I just want the Miami Vice and Spartacus threads back, bros.
Spartacus is coming back, brother.
Cinemaphile discussion died in 2018
It isn't that good but it also isn't as bad as a lot of the other stuff.
It doesn't see any discussion because their marketing campaigns aren't active for it, you'll only see lots of discussion if the shills and bots are out stirring up outrage, these days.
Its a marker that something might actually be good if they didn't feel the need to pay for lots of "grass roots" advertising.
what are you talking about? there was tons of forced word of mouth for it. They even did weekly releases to force it.
I think weekly releases kill hype more than build hype.
>t. shill
the only people who like weekly releases are paid shills
ESL?
nah, just a total failure of reading comprehension. only saw "weekly" "releases" and the last two words and kneejerk replied.
It happens.
Black female woman will be revealed to be kang variant. She will be new mcu villain
S2 was better than S1 I don't know what some of you don't see in that. Sylvie literally ruined S1 with her shitty writing. In S2 they wrote her as an unlikable Loki like she should have always been. I'm not going to act like that was the only improvement but that was a big one.
the best current thing since the last current thing. i clapped when they did the thing.
no one actually watched it so shills had exclusive control of the narrative and could pretend acclaim was universal
it's not that good. After 10 tv flops they finally made an ok show
