Season 13 was the first one to be written by a brand new writing team, and it showed. Sure, you can spot moments of decline throughout many seasons before, but S13 was the first one that I would say is outright weak.
I’d say the Golden Age was seasons 2-9. Season 10 was a dip in quality, 11 was a step back up, 12 had the Waterpark episode and a few other funny moments, but after that it feels so different
season 12 also had this episode which was great
The gang goes to hell was a perfect finale. Everything past that I consider zombie sunny.

I still really like seasons 2-10ish but I'd love to see the alternate universe where they continued with the direction of S1.
