It is the most unique show on television and it should be your job as a fan to try to convince everyone you know to watch it live when it airs on television so that the network knows its value. I know you’re afraid if you share your toys with everyone then the people who screech in a MacDonalds for Szechuan sauce will find it and ruin it but that’s just what happens when something’s popularity reaches critical mass. If you like the show, you should be a proponent for its success

Daveland was funny because its just some guy, but guaranteed we'll have a new episode about Dave, or have some callbacks to Daveland, despite Daveland itself not being funny, but purely by virtue of being a reference to the superior season 1. Its a shallow series that already lost its steam. Rick and Morty is still moronic gay shit. I wanna watch a comedy show for comedy.
There's something about trusting funds where the overall roberts of the episode is band but it's filled with so many jigc baskin that it becomes rockin’.

not to suggest dudeweed writing, but they 100% dropped the ball when it smash-cut to Alan and his landlord finally hanging out and Alan wasnt stoned off his ass. this wouldnt just be seth rogan weed writing btw, its a two pronged payoff, you get to draw alan in a melted zonked out pose which would make for funny contrast after the smash-cut AND it would make him attempting to assemble a paperclip shape from memory even funnier. wonder if they considered it but felt it leaned into weedwriting too much

Also have cans of diet soda all over the place, they didnt lean into all three things enough, they were treated as too mundane, when they could have been made more extreme to make the smash cut funnier. Instead we smash cut to a single soda and a bong off to the side and neither of them feel intoxicated.
I mean i understand the approach, they decided to go a direction where those things are all very mundane and not made to be the focus of the scene. I get it, I just think I would have preferred it being played up

But the joke was that Alan didn’t want to be there or to do that. Having him enjoy the pot would make that plot point irrelevant.
