why was he able to do that? spiders cant do that. wasnt he supposed to have spider powers? if i did that to a spider he would just wouldnt give a frick.
Harsh but needed to be said
He has super reflexes you super moron.
super rude
It's always been a little funny that most of Spider-Man's powers don't make sense. Spiders aren't generally super reflexive, he can supposedly cling to walls because of his hands, but then he puts on a suit with gloves. The thing spiders are most known for, their wevs they make isn't even a power of his, he just decided to invent an incredible web replacement. Ohh yeah and he has "Spidey sense" because as everyone knows, spiders are psychic
spiderman swinging around israelite york with assless chaps shitting web everywhere is the adaptation we deserve
Stop. If you do that Mexico will never watch any other movie ever.
It was a genetically modified spider
stop noticing things
spiders literally spin web and wait for a bug to fly in to their web all day
Unlike most spiders Spider-Man realises the responsibility that comes with his powers. That's what differentiates him from the regular spiders.
I once swatted a gnat out of the air and it landed on my bathroom counter. There was a house spider chilling near the mirror and I tossed it over to him and he caught it with his front legs. And kind of held it for a second while checking it out. It was cool
kino
You obviously don't know many spiders irl.
Based CinemaSins enjoyer
gay
Do you think spiderman walks on erection like blood hydraulics instead of using muscles as spiders do?
>no book lungs
>disbelief suspension with blown out shocks
...i checked out of the series when I realized he didn't have any hairy extra arms and lungs in his stomach.
In the 2002 Spider-Man movie directed by Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire's character, Peter Parker, catching the food with the food tray was a practical effect. Tobey Maguire performed the stunt himself, and it was achieved by having sticky adhesive on his hands and the tray. The scene was shot in multiple takes to get the desired effect, showcasing Maguire's agility as Spider-Man.
Spider's have fast reflexes. Like, have you ever spooked one?
False, it was shot in reverse and they used fishing line to lift everything straight up, hence when nothing bounces
It doesn't bounce because he perfectly cushions each landing
then why is everyone in the background not walking backwards?
Because he directed everyone to walk backwards so when it was reversed they'd seem as though they were walking forward, duh
Genius
stop being a conspiritard chud.
Wait is that true? It sounds plausible
It doesn't bounce on purpose because he's spider man
>Sam Raimi did 166 takes of this scene until Tobey caught everything for real
No, he didn't.
Memes aside can anyone explain what Raimi was going for here?
>memes aside
>posts infamous Cinemaphile meme
The frick are you talking about newfriend? That's literally a still from the movie.
Ahah hilter amirite guise?
>nazis are... le cool!
lol, another chud falls in to the propaganda lmao
it's a comic-accurate costume (it was a different time)
he was going to be buddhist man, but a neo nazi in post production horizontally flipped the entire movie
It was a different time. Raimi thought things were heading in a different direction and wanted to be ahead of the game.
it was just a buddhism thing, man
the bunker man ruined that shit for everybody
For those who want to be part of this epic Cinemaphile forced meme there are three easy steps.
Step 1: This is considered the most important step. See what movie this epic Cinemaphile meme is being applied to today. Most of the time it's the older Sam Raimi Spiderman movies but since these threads die very fast the guys that force this apply it to other movies now. This thread however uses the Raimi Spiderman meme. Please pay attention.
Step 2: Take an iconic scene in the movie, any will do as long as people remember the scene. Greentext a quote from the scene and twist the words to use anti semitisim, racism, homophobia or any other edgy as frick topic. Go nuts, the sky is the limit! The more vulgar it is the more epic the meme is. This takes us to the final step.....
Step 3: Make a regular post, taking the position of a normal person and pretend to be disgusted by that scene. I know, I know, this is Cinemaphile, a site where gore flows like fine wine but that's what makes this meme edgy, wacky and zany. We pretend to be offended by that fake scene. Funny huh?
Now that you understand how to do this, have fun kids. Happy memeing!
City slicker detected.
Why not just film it in reverse And have Toby suspended upside down ?
Mary Jane titty jiggle make my pp go boom
Does that mean there was a pile of smashed jello at Tobey Maguire's feet when this scene was filmed
Kirsten Dunst is god
>>Sam Raimi did 166 takes of this scene until Tobey caught everything for real
he also made macho man redo the neck drop wrestle move so many times he actually broke his neck
then he died
raimi killed the macho man
Kirsten Dunst : Beautiful
Emma Stone : Cute
Zendaya : Sexy
I couldn't even pick one, love all of them.
Emma, easily

>Bully Maguire
I accept it.
We lost all the SOUL..............
>tfw you learn this s00jrwas all shot practically
Legit one of the best comic book intros ever made. Fun fact, Sam Raimi was originally in line to direct the Warcraft movie but Raimi decided to retire from filmmaking after the script had already been written without saying a word
>Intro
Thats the ending anon
Same thing
Literally the opposite
whatever dude I don't care about your semantics time is an amorphous blob anyway
"same" is a synonym of "opposite"
TASM did web swinging better thoughbeit
No
youre wrong, analyzing the scenes will prove it.
YOU are wrong
i accept your concession. post better one from any spider-man movie, lets analyze them together.
i accept your concession
This really did look incredible for its time, nothing quite like it, a visual tour de france and a unique theater-goer experience
Actually the food was made out of glue balls painted to look like cafeteria items. It's an old Hollywood trick.
The plate appears from nowhere
There's a hand just off-screen in the widescreen version that is gently throwing him the items, are you seriously telling me it took that many times for him to do it despite that help? KEK!!
holy shit wtf I never noticed the hand and boot offscreen
Literally me
>this is the high school student I was telling you about
Why was there piss on the floor any way?
>here's that smoking hot, teenage love interest i was talking about...
Yes
I look like this and do this
>i look like this and do this
...i do not look like that...
but I do that all the time at the grocery store.
God just imagine what the 30 minutes inside the store was like when he was buying the suit
>This literally filtered billions in 2007
genius is often unrecognized in its own time
>after I saw this movie I thought Peter was supposed to be super cool and spent the next few years trying to be like black spiderman
Holy shit
They dont make em like that anymore
They really don't. The idea that writers for Marvel movies put this much thought into a script at one point is wild. Are there any iconic lines from Marvel since that movie was made other than Iron Man saying "Iron Man"?
Here's your equivalent, from famed Shakespearean actor Branagh!
>tobey mcguire had to get bitten by countless radioactive spiders until he actually gained spiderman powers.
they just don't make them like they used to
What do you expect? American directors mog every other country
>Spiderman
>Doesn't bite Flash and liquify his organs
>liquid lunching on students
...I forgot about that.
>round apple not rolling
there is a magnet in it
Sam Raimi will be canceled one day for stereotyping the Romani people in Drag Me To Hell
>implying anyone cares about gypsies
thought this was some dumb meme but screenrant confirms it (but they say 156)
