You ever wonder why you waste your precious time that slipping away right now posting shitty bait on Cinemaphile do you laugh and clap at every bump or what
This guy got dealt a bad hand
He is actually a really good actor (watch Shattered Glass) who was perfectly cast for Anakin Skywalker (looks both like a beautiful heroic leading man AND as a pure villain), but George Lucas' 100% autistic dialogue and direction made it impossible for him to do well
I don't hate George, I love George, and I love the prequels, but..... he is a big autist who writes horrible dialogue. The original trilogy is good because people gave him shit and challenged him. On the prequels, he had complete creative controlled and no one dared to question his autism. He was just surrounded by yes men
>Surrounded by Yes Men
He literally wasn't. If you actually watched the prequel behind the scenes there are several heated but friendly arguments between George and his crew about basically everything and George would often listen to their criticisms. One thing the Disney's films like Solo outed is that Kasdan is a complete hack and Lucas was the heart, soul, and brains of Star Wars. Everyone around him only succeeded because they had Lucas as their filter.
The Prequels were intended to be in the style old fashioned silent movies but with dialogue and amazing sound design. Basically every frame is an homage to some old movie Lucas loved. The only reason is why people think the dialogue sounds stitled or corny is because Lucas was intentionally going for old fashioned and poetic over modern action shlock dialogue. He even said so directly in interviews. Christensen did a phenomenal job acting, as just looking at face in a random frame can tell you exactly what the character is feeling. The Prequels, for all their flaws, will outlast every other piece of Star Wars media, because it is more universal and not tied to a particular cultural trend in film making.
He definitely was not right for the role of A Skywalker. He was good in Shattered Glass, but Skywalker should've been played by an actor with more experience, as it's a complex character and arc. I guess he looks like a leading man, but McGregor for example, acted circles around him. And yeah, he didn't have a good script to work with, but still it wasn't ideal casting.
>irrelevant list of copes that have nothing to do with his chosen career
Yep, he won, bros

Your mistake is believing anything women say.
Holy shit an actor complemented an actor he was working with in a movie
Imagine sitting through prequel slop just to take in Haydens wooden shit performance, cage is a fricking troll
he looks good for his age and I think he retired to a farm with his kids
Nope, he went crawling back to Kathleen Kennedy when she called
Don't know how he can look George Lucas in the eye

Yeah he aged 20 years since we last saw him.
>The young guy 20 years ago isn't young anymore
He smokes too much. Why he is aging poorly.
