They’re getting noticeably old. James travelling the world is still kino to me, but Richard’s not a young man anymore and Jeremy looks like a medical experiment.
>When they mentioned during the episode that he was 63 I was taken aback
Frick me really? My dad is 64 and old man still rapes me in my sleep, Jeremy looks 80
>not modifying their cars in the middle of the special >not fricking around with eachothers cars enough
I dunno, feel like something was missing. Probably for the best it was their final show
may is only truly good with clarkson and hammond there. he's ok as a host but his self-hating libtard views push through when no one's there to check him. clarkson IS top gear.
I can’t stand May when he is on his own he is just way too autistic and annoying
Both Hammond and Clarkson are pretty entertaining on their own and I watch their youtube videos all the time
Way too heavy on the scripted events. You can tell they don’t have the same lust for adventure anymore, they want all surprising / adverse things to happen on their own terms. Richard’s car losing almost all functionality was probably the most organic part of this and even that got tiresome after 45 minutes.
As soon as I saw the expensive convertibles I knew it was over. It would have been a million times better if they each got 1000 pounds to make an off road car or something
The one where they drive in africa with fish in their cars was surprisingly kino, its the episode that came closest to feeling like a genuine top gear episode
Too bad clarkson is too old and cucked now. Would love to see one last minimal scripted special with clarkson pissing off some wogs and muzzies before retiring on his farm for good
It's because the show is actually genuine instead of scripted to hell and back. Sure they've figured out stuff they want to do ahead of time but there's no scripwriter behind lambs giving birth, him being attached to specific animals (like the little lamb he hand fed through the night but still died) or the village idiots refusing permissions for his every project. I also liked that they showed how seriously hard/time consuming farming is and how little it pays.
Did anyone else feel disappointed by James May in India? It was pretty obvious he (rightfully) hated every minute in that shit hole and he was at all times forced by his shitty crew around. Amazon really fricked up on that destination, he should do something like Azerbaijan or Peru next since he likes diverse narrow countries
Japan worked for him because he's just as autistic as the average Jap and he looks very fascinated and eager to learn about their lives. I'm not sure if he can replicate this elsewhere. Russia I guess would suit him but of it's a damn shame for the war
I thought Clarkson was fired again because of that dumb GoT joke? Either way, the show is long past their prime, Clarkson has a better farm show, Hammond has a better channel on YT, and May fricked up his show with his virtue signalling in India.
At this point I just appreciate anything we get with these three lads. It's not great, but at least we got to see a more interesting part of Africa than just the south for the 5th time.

>Jeremy looks like a medical experiment.
behold
When they mentioned during the episode that he was 63 I was taken aback. He could be 73 easily. How do Brits live?
it's all the alcohol. It's corroded him from the inside out.
>When they mentioned during the episode that he was 63 I was taken aback

alcohol and cigarettes, plus bad genetics
So love have blinded you.
Forgot the question mark... So this is how democracy ends...
it was fun
They're neutered old fricks doing the same tired schtick they've been cranking out for decades
Of course it's shit
>not modifying their cars in the middle of the special
>not fricking around with eachothers cars enough
I dunno, feel like something was missing. Probably for the best it was their final show
top gear already ended around season 8. Its been just forced jokes since then.
Cant win em all
Only found crappy torrents that cut out half way through then I forgot all about this
young me: Jeremy > Richard > James
now me: James > Richard > Jeremy
Same

And this episode was way too scripted
Botswana is my favourite for that reason
too old and clearly stopped caring after they got their own shows
seamen was probably the last one where they enjoyed themselves
The one where they drive in africa with fish in their cars was surprisingly kino, its the episode that came closest to feeling like a genuine top gear episode
they've earned a comfy retirement, you ingrates. they've got one last special left and i will watch it happily
Too bad clarkson is too old and cucked now. Would love to see one last minimal scripted special with clarkson pissing off some wogs and muzzies before retiring on his farm for good
There's at least two more seasons of his farm show coming.
Clarksons farms is better than Top Gear ever was at this point

It was alright, it'll be sad to see it all end. At least we'll still have Clarkson's Farm for a bit longer.
>oh damn. that's pretty scary that Hammond almost drove into a mine fie- oh, it's a dumbass gag. Okay.
>you mean Moe didn't ACTUALLY kill Curley with a hammer?
>Dumb gag!
They never implied any of them were dying, or whatever.
They just got hit, and the hits were real.
was it more underwhelming then the beach buggy one?
that one was kino
The beach buggy one was better

I cant stand to watch mays ramblings so no
I liked it but Japan is still the best
Japan worked for him because he's just as autistic as the average Jap and he looks very fascinated and eager to learn about their lives. I'm not sure if he can replicate this elsewhere. Russia I guess would suit him but of it's a damn shame for the war
I think he would work in Latin America somewhere
You can tell how much he hated India because it was three episodes long while Japan and Italy were six.
