They’ll say I don’t like it because the new Cap is black and that’s bullshit. I don’t like it because Sam Wilson isn’t Captain America. Steve Rogers is. If the motherfricker ain’t from the 1940’s I’m not interested.
Oh yeah. Reshooting the film pretty much seals the deal on it bombing. Not only does it add tens of millions to the cost but the word that it had to be reshot is a giant red flag so audiences hang back to see what the word will be on if it’s any good. Low opening weekend box office convinces people it’s crap and not worth going to see. It just feeds itself negativity
