The first two aren't even torture porn. The first one barely have any gore and the worst thing that happens in Saw 2 is that guy getting shot in the head.
Come on anon, Saw 2 literally starts with a classic Saw-like torture porn scene, and the other trap scenes in that movie aren't exactly that different in that regard. No, what makes Saw 2 good is just the scenes of John himself talking to the detective. You could just watch all of John's scenes and call it a day.
The venus flytrap is definately the beginning of the series turning into torture porn but the rest of the deaths are the result of a gunshot (the goriest death in the film), a spiked baseball bat to the back of the head, getting burned in a furnace getting your throat slit by a bonesaw. Out of those death only the furnace scene is a drawn out death (and it's not that gory either), the other three are almost instantaneous. You have that girl who gets stuck in the razorbox but the movie doesn't dwell on it and she presumably dies from the nerve gas anyway. It says a lot that the most unnerving scene in the whole movie just involves a character getting thrown in a pit of hypodermic needles, even though she survives. Even the furnace scene focuses less on the torture aspect and more of the suspense of the other characters getting the dude out of the furnace in time before he dies.
Anon you're confusing gore with torture porn. All the trap scenes are torture porn, like it or not, they don't have any other purpose other than that since the victims are just the usual expendable horror movie cast (besides Amanda I guess, meh).
I like the Saw movies it there's a point where they don't just become bad but irritating. The trabs are too obtuse, random actors who aren't up to it, avsolute insistence on the most convoluted plot possible.
Is it actually good?
Is it a just a return to form?
Is it just that critics on RT are now 20 year old whose first horror film was Saw 5?
>I haven't watched it but let me enter a thread where I can be spoiled and ask about it
I'll never understand these people. It's October, jesus christ, just watch it and make your own judgment.
What strong woman was added to the series? The antagonist? The one who scammed people, caused the deaths of dozens and wanted to kill a kid? Yeah this movie does wonders for female empowerment. Also by mexicans you mean the ones who also were part of that scam-murder plot that the woman orchestrated and all get killed besides the 8 year old boy?
Don't forget that this movie ends with a black guy being outed as another conspirator and proceeding to get deathtrap'd by Jigsaw.
Does "Saw X" mean that someone saw twitter?
Haha very good my droll friend.
Thanks. Joke was self made.
It isn't called Twitter anymore, the name was changed to
Holy shit I get it now. This is a very amusing post when you think about it.
Right? Anon is very witty. I bet he's the life of the party whenever he goes.
I stopped watching after the second or third ? Torture porn gets stale quick.

Didn't that make less money than paw patrol 2?
didnt rt get exposed for rigging the ratings
No actually, what makes it good?
Because Tobin Bell, that's all I'm gonna say. Watch it before you get spoiled, I don't care if you just watch a camrip or whatever.
qrd on why this one is so good? is it because they ditch the cheesy daytime soap opera lore or what
>websites invented letters
old man gets lied to and kills them all.
But when the japanese do it its a war crime
Seeing Jig and Amanda back together fricking c**ts up was pretty satisfying
