The first act of this movie is the funniest section of any saw, earnestly trying to humanize a deranged serial killer is legitimately the most weirdest direction in the franchise.

>killer
Who did he kill?
Please don't tell me people unironically believe in the whole 'he didn't kill them the traps did' thing.
Do you have an argument against it or..?
>trap someone in a cage with no food or water
>I didn’t kill them, biology did!
why am I not surprised people on Cinemaphile have no understanding of the law? He is (at the minimum) guilty of abduction and forced imprisonment which are felonies
Not remotely comparable but pop off bro.
No way, it would never hold in court. His “traps” (they’re games) were all escapable. Someone could get themself killed playing basketball for crying out loud.
nobody was trapped. they all had the freedom to leave. next question
He at least kidnapped his first victim himself and made his followers kidnap everyone else
>inb4 telling someone else to commit a crime isn't illegal
Manson did exactly that and got life in prison
why am i not surprised people on Cinemaphile have 0 understanding of what is the most obvious b8 to ever exist
The real b8 is what you fell for! Game over!
Jigsaw never committed a crime
The police officer in home alone is a different character than the wet bandit
His name is Dunnheir
The dancing cat is real
all of those are wrong except for the dancing cat
He didn’t. I am currently a law student and all of the men in my family were lawyers. After thoroughly looking through every possible case, every single one of them came to the conclusion there is absolutely nothing he can be charged with.
He gave them a choice, that's all. They chose to die. He can't be held responsible for another person's choice.
My mother didn't make me fat when I chose to eat all her yummy cakes.
so right sawbros, jigsaw never killed anyone. Now, who put them in the trap that killed them again?
they wanted to be there, its stated in the 1st movie
>Now, who put them in the trap that killed them again?
Themselves, through the decisions they made in life.
you will never be a jigsaw apprentice
He slashed a cop's throat.
He pushed a guy into razer wire.
He placed many people into life threatening situations.
>slashed a cop’s throat
You fool. The knife was a trap. It was the cop who simply made the choice to play
Danny Glover
He’s been humanized
Damn, what a good man.
kinda thought the twist was gonna be he just leaves the lady there and sets her up as the killer
He was going to quit Saw-ing though.
>deranged serial killer
watch the whole series again and pay attention, he didn't kill anyone
I thought it was the best part of entire franchise. Bell is awesome
>"deranged serial killer"
The charges, officer?
Reckless endangerment
Sing made a choice to not step over the trap wire connected to the shotguns because he was brash and young. He should have valued his partner's life and stayed with him to tend to his slashed throat instead of playing hero. If Tapp had died he would have been the only person Jigsaw ever directly killed, but Kramer's aim is true and Tapp survived.
Felony association. You don't get to argue with the police. Get a lawyer. Take this guy away for booking.
>serial killer
He hasn’t killed anyone
Felony association. Look it up. Bail is denied
No, stalker, these are your delusions speaking.
Prison does not await.
You stole this post from I Hate Everything's LetterBox.
>killer
He hasn't killed a single person. He hasn't been proven in the court of law he killed a single person. Stop spreading misinfo.
>deranged serial killer
Uh actually he was a deranged serial choice giver.
I was thinking this the whole time. The scene where they want to Saw the kid and he's going on about his code of ethics as if he's an anti-hero was so stupid
Unfortunately all you're going to get in this thread is a bunch of reddltors spamming "he didn't kill anyone" and "le charges officer"
I've seen most of the movies in this series and I have no clue about what happened in any of them, I just kinda zone out until people get killed by the traps.
the tragedy of post 2007 internet
If you weren't a fricking underage homosexual and or a moron you'd realize that it is no foreign concept to the series that jigsaw is the "hero" or protagonist. Was it always edgy, sure, were they giving long time fans of 20 year some fan service with this with John Kramer, sure, but to complain about this is just gay, they were always fricking saw movies and they are what they are.
Guro bros... we're home.
The choice thing was pretty tough in this one, she had to saw off her own leg to get access to bone marrow which she had to grab a thing and siphon off enough of it to weigh down a contraption that wouldn't saw her head off.
Brutal
Hold the frick up
This and Matteo’s trap were just annoying since they literally had it beat except the time was just a few second short. I thought the pipe bomb guy waited so long but cool he still beat it
JIGSAW IS A THIEF
IN 1995 HE TOOK A PIG MASK TO KIDNAP CECIL AND DID NOT PAY FOR IT
?t=73
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE GOT HIM.
>hold someone at gunpoint (im not holding the gun, a mechanism I designed is holding the gun)
>tell them to chop off their arm or the device will shoot them
at the very least, this is covered by attempted murder
It's funny that the Saw guy was in an episode of X-Files and he claimed he didn't kill anyone there too
>the cigarettes did it
>earnestly trying to humanize a deranged serial killer is legitimately the most weirdest direction in the franchise.
Have you seen any other saw movie at all? How is this new to you?
> Kill the main bad guy off in the 3rd movie in the series
> Currently up to the 10th
> Have to do massive screenwriting gymnastics in order to put the main bad guy into each new movie
Do you think they ever regret doing it this way?
of course they do. that's why saw XI will be saw 2.5
Honestly they should just make him come back as the puppet at this point. Billy is the real star.
uh didn't they like spend 5 movies trying to humanize jigsaw what makes this one any different
It does make sense why he became a killer as his life was basically destroyed and wih the realization of surviving suicide. It is cool it showed he possibly thought of giving it up if he was cured. Something odd thouh some prominent moments in the trailer I don’t think. Saw them in the movie. Like the doctor telling him he wasn’t cured and looks pissed
