>Disney plus is dying >ms marvel has worst views of any show yet >"duuuude what if we references x-men" >"yes yes a thousand times yes play the song too"
Pretty pathetic. I guess changing her powers once wasn't enough.......
> Inhumangay cope
They did it to tie Ms.Marvel to the X men in future films. It's easier to make her a character that is tied to a school then a bunch of royals on the moon. They might make her a teacher in the MCU since the actress actual ages in real time.
>They might make her a teacher in the MCU since the actress actual ages in real time.
It'd be pretty interesting if MCU ageing caused the development of the comics equivalents. Here's to hoping it eventually ages Spider-Man as well.

The MCU plans on having X-Men be occult so there's still a no mutant policy for the X0Men themselves
>The MCU plans on having X-Men be occult
Source: Your ass. Nothing supernatural about mutations, and we're starting to have a lot of supernatural heroes anyway.
Every MCU TV show has been getting worse and worse ratings because people are just getting tired of watching the TV shows at this point it doesn't actually mean each TV shows getting worse and worse. But you're ignoring that because you want to consider Kamala a failure in everything she touches even when she has never been that important in how much it successful or not.
Anon I like Kamala but everything she's been has been a failure.
Tho, to be fair, those things would have been failures without Kamala anyway so it isn't really her fault.
>Every MCU TV show has been getting worse and worse ratings because people are just getting tired of watching the TV shows at this point it doesn't actually mean each TV shows getting worse and worse.
Moon Knight actually was able to improve viewership by the finale and beat WandaVision
I always wonder if Feige regrets changing Carol Danvers to Carl Manvers and Ms Marvel to Ms Taliban, >Brie Larson is the most hated actress in the MCU. >MCU Captain Marvel is the most hated character. >Ms Marvel Kamala Khan is a failure in Disney plus, failure in games and comics.
Feige didn't change that or have any input on those changes though, that was already a thing in the comics going back to 2012. That being said, he apparently wanted to introduce Carol as Ms. Marvel.
Ah yes, good ol' Pat McCrotch and his neverending quest to post his clickbait shit on Cinemaphile. You might as well post a link to We Got This Covered.
Do you honestly think Disney cares one iota about the comics now at this point outside of their value as IP? If Feige said every mutant was the result yakub ejaculating on Earth it would become the new canon
>If Feige said every mutant was the result yakub ejaculating on Earth it would become the new canon
It's actually canon, in Aaron Avengers there is Loki that explains mutants were created by the blood of a dying celestial on earth
I would have agreed... until I got a demi-god tier OLED TV and sound system and realized that its the only streaming service that actually isn't skimping out on 4K IMAX/HDR content. They are the only ones that care about giving their users primo data with features optimized for my TV. At least, they are the only ones making it clear what you are getting when you click on anything.
Watching Endgame and any other streaming IMAX movies on this new baby of mine is now cheaper than going to the cinema, and honestly crisper and more vibrant.
Meanwhile watching new releases like The Batman on HBO Max was OK, but they are either putting inferior encodings on there, hoping people still buy a copy with the goods, or something. I got a better viewing experience watching a 4K HDR rip on my buddies' Plex server. The Batmobile chase with an Dolby ATMOS setup fricking slaps.
This TV is fricking kino. I don't regret using this income tax return on this. I *almost* feel bad for dissing Displey Plus when they first came out, but they seem to be one of the only streaming services that actually is catering to mid-to-high end entertainment setups. They knows what the frick is up.
Rogue kept them permanently because she drained her longer than she's ever drained anyone else. Carol gets put into a coma afterwards and still hasn't awakened
Her art is so inconsistent in the actual comics. Fan artists seem to be able to make her unbelievably cute yet Marvel is hit and miss. If they want this character to sell so bad you’d think they’d get her the best artists.
>using the cartoon theme for the X-Men leitmotif in Multiverse of Madness and Ms Marvel because every other incarnation of the IP since has become a joke no one wants to associate with >also reviving the cartoon for the same reason
>X-Men 92 continues getting sucked off by Marvel to appease aging millennials >Evolution still hasn't had a continuation of any kind, despite introducing X-23.
It hurts.
X-23 isn't a bad legacy for the show to have though.

By no means, which is why it gets frustrating when the 90s show gets this much worship. Is this how The Batman and Brave and the Bold fans feel?

You've got to remember context. The 90s X-Men cartoon is basically a condensation of the preceding decade of popular and highly influential comics that aired during the peak of 90s X-Men hype. Evolution is a standalone take that doesn't really line up with any of the comics regarding its setup or lineup, and a fairly mediocre first season.

didn't they introduce spike in the comics at some point and fricked him up?
Do you seriously think they are going to take out the asian ? Normies think they are just Wolverine with bombs and Furry Thing...thinking about it...now I'm sure she will replace Jean, they probably see her as box office poison
Kamala is trash and was trash and forever will be trash. That's why they are trying to make he more interesting but it's not really working jus making mutants sound gross.
>introduce all that alt dimension bullshit >have the bands activate her power >tease the kree >tease mutants on top of that
Why have her break all the rules for how mutants work and then still tease her as a mutant. The whole thing is pointlessly convoluted.
It shouldn't even need confirmation. The scene doesn't make sense unless it's a body swap. Why would Kamala freak out over her own wallpaper? It's required to have happened.
Huh, that's actually cleverer than I'd give them credit for. Maybe it's just the MCU's made the bar so low but it actually is an interesting twist to me, and certainly might actually make MCU Carol have finally something interesting as a character. I might actually watch this show now
>You've let them get to you, Bucky. You truly are a Winter Soldier now!
I would've preferred they didn't spell it out too blatantly. It's the name of the show already.
Reeeaaaaeally doubt it. This plot point is very likely to be explored in what? The next Captain Marvel where it's about the Kree and Skrulls. The rumor is that where's the Inhumans are going to mentioned first. They didn't even have the balls to really say mutant, just some sort of gene mutation that was clearly activated by what heavily resembles Kree technology from the comics.
Even in the comics, all people that aren't baseline humans in Marvel and are modified in some manner that isn't some kind of cybernetic prosthesis are considered mutates. Spider-Man is one, Luke Cage is one, and Captain America just very barely skirts being one even though his genes were similarly altered. For some reason, they really like leaving shit vague about Kamala specifically, and are somehow even worse with it than Wanda and Pietro with the nature of their powers.
Since the MCU is a mix of 616 and Ultimate it may also draw from the Ultimate Marvel idea that true mutants aren't really a thing and nearly everyone is actually just descended from a mutate.
If she is a mutant, the hell was that weird dimension she travelled to in the first episode? Also, is Kamran a mutant too, since he has similar powers, and if so, does that make the ClanDestine mutants? This is sort of confusing...
Kamala is one of those heroes whose super power origins don't really matter that much, and yet they made the show's main plot centred around that and made it unnecessarily complicated. The show would be better if it was more like the first 2 episodes where it mainly focused on Kamala doing friendly neighbourhood Ms. Marvel things.
They focused on her powers because it's gonna be touched upon in the next movie. That's why I'm pretty bullish when people are like she's an X-Men and has the X-Gene! An X-Gene that needed some (likely) Kree technology to activate so she can use her powers? Does Cyclops need to wear it now so he can activate his powers?
We're talking about the same group of people who loudly and angrily insisted that WandaVision was actually going to be about mutants. Spider-Slayers could show up in the next Spider-Man film and they'd insist it actually means Peter is a mutant.
Xavier is the only confirmed mutant to show up in the MCU so far, just as Black Bolt is the only confirmed Inhuman, Wanda and Pietro were left largely ambiguous, and they seem to be following the same bullshit with Kamala.
Nah they had different power origins. Pietro got his powers through experimentation and the mind stone. Wanda is a prophecy witch who uses chaos spells who's power was increased massively by the mind stone and experimentation.
And Xavier sorta does and doesn't count as it was an alternate universe.
You can almost hear the screeching as the X-Men writers apply the brakes and pull a 180 to turn comic Kamala into a mutant.
It's not like they haven't done it before. The Captain Marvel trailer vaguely hinted that their version of Carol would be half-Kree and within a month the previews for the comics were building up a major change to her in the 616. Then the movie came out and... nope, Carol still all human, and the comics were left with a stunted new plot arc that just does not fit.
Simplification. When Fox owned X-Men they pushed the Inhumans, but can you blame them that now when they've got the X-Men back they go with the far more popular and successful property? I don't. It's a far better choice than trying to do both, in my opinion. One of their better choices in this messed up phase.
This does leave the question of being back Anson Mount as Black Bolt and potential Inhuman teasing in The Marvels. Not to mention the whole business with Agents of SHIELD.
This is true, though from what I understand the whole point of them was because it was an alt-universe they could do some fan casting/wanking and get away with it without having larger implications on the main stories. The multiverse lets them get away with the "every story is true ... somewhere" angle.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they blend them a bit. They're already pretty damn close, after all. Both have (supposed) alien origins, both have similar powers. Really the primary difference is that Kree versus Celestial tinkering (and the Celestial bit gets a bit Incestial where the Kree are concerned) and how their powers are activated. Mutants just naturally "blossom" around puberty (mostly, anyway) and Inhumans need some extra alien kick to their super genes.
in the comics, especially now, it's confirmed that earth mutants predate humans. not sure how do they want to do it in the movies, but I have a feeling it's going to suck
Saw it. I'm still dubious, but not surprised this is the direction the X-Office is wanking things. I mean they already did this with the original combined Arakko and Krakoa, but Threshold supposedly predates even that.

Just have an ep where she and miles are laying post coitous in bed.
To break the tension and take their my ND off of the fact that they can't just be friends anymore miles asks her "Soon ... Where do your powers come from?"
The moment he asks her he's met with a blank stare and 5 minutes ago f stone cold silence
She responds "I'm not really sure".
He says. Seriously?
She thinks for a minute before shrugging and disappearing beneath the tattered sex stained remains of her favorite blanket.
Just because MM didn't do that hot and they don't know what the frick they want to do with her character doesn't mean they're going to go crazy and shill that shit, anon.
How can you even play the oppressed mutant angle when people worship the ground capes walk on in the MCU and your average normies would be amazed to a see a random person with a random mutation
it'll be evil red hat wearing racists who have a problem with mutants
i dont think this will happen
disney basically just trolls the internet for how to write these things for maximum normie appeal at this point, they know 'superpowered guys are exactly the same as being beaten up because you're a homo' is the butt of every joke about the xmen even by people who only watched the old movies
what they will come up with will probably be worse, though
>it won't happen
Marvel's mutants are literally entirely defined by the universe's civilians being absolute psychopaths about them no matter how stupid and hypocritical it is with all the other ultrapowerful capes running around with free passes to blow up the earth.
Most of them will probably be blippers, except for a rare few "natural" mutants.
WandaVision established that some people are born with potential that normally withers, but exposure to infinity stone energy can kickstart it.
Falcon&Soldier established the large social tensions between those that survived the blip and those that were blipped.
Then having some of the blipped start changing, and you have potential for widespread unrest and fear mongering about them coming back different/changed, that they're not really human (which the future skrull invasion won't help), etc.
Mutant numbers will have gone from rare evolutionary anomalies relegated to myth to a growing public population and potential crisis
>mutants hid themselves among the wealthy elite for centuries >they used their wealth and influence to keep mutants safe and hidden >the hellfire club was their secret society dedicated to protecting mutants >snap happens >magneto thinks this is the right time to reveal themselves and take the world that's rightfully there's >xavier agrees they should reveal mutants to the world, but as heroes and champions, not conquerors >they debate for years until everyone returns >magneto and xavier get in to more and more arguments, causing the hellfire club to split >magneto forms the brotherhood >xavier forms the x-men
>WandaVision established that some people are born with potential that normally withers, but exposure to infinity stone energy can kickstart it. >Supernatural prophesized being chosen by an elder god >Scientific random mutations caused by a gene introduced into humanity by giant aliens
Not the same thing at all.
Also the Infinity Stones can go to hell for now. And they wouldn't really make sense, as they would only trigger mutations in one generation. One of the big fears with mutants is that they're going to replace humanity as the dominant species.
Half the human population was taken apart and put back together by wacky cosmic energy, making mutants a long term consequence is a pretty easy handwave.
And I know its easy but you're forgetting Pietro also got his powers by the same circumstance.
Pietro is a mystery right now, but I'd assume he only got his powers and survived the experiments because he was the sister of the Scarlet Witch, and because Wanda loved him, and maybe had him survive and granted him powers unconciously. Certainly not a mutant.
With movies it's much easier. There will be some incident involving mutants at some point that will turn people against supers in general. Then that will be the plot of an entire X-Men focused MCU phase. Then they will get over over it when that phase ends, occasionally, bringing up some character that still keep the prejudice in the future when they feel like it.
They said they had the next 5 years planned out when they acquired fox and weren't in a rush to shoehorn them into their plans. That was almost 5 years ago, so they're finally opening the sluice gate of those acquired properties.
Very small chance it's a fake-out specific to her, no chance that it's another Quicksilver meta joke. They'd have PR nipping this in the bud immediately to avoid backlash. This should be taken as confirmation that mutants are coming ... eventually, and they'll probably have Kamala as one of them.
Don't Mutants exist because Stan Lee didn't want to make another explanation for a bunch of characters' powers so he just went, "They were born with it"?
What I'm saying is when you make a character a mutant but not specifically an x-men, doesn't that mean you're basically saying, "I don't know(/care) what their origin is, give them the... whatever."?
yes and no. marvel has pre-x-men story that featured muties, and the exact themes that later became associated with the x-men. stan lee said many things, he was notorious for having "bad" memory (either on purpose or being an old frick) and everything he said should be treated as anecdotes
*stories, my bad. there are hundreds of 50s stories featuring literally muties being feared and loathed and struggling for acceptance in their anthologies. this, plus the concept of homosexual superior, the next stage of human evolution
jokes aside, but considering that the fanbase didn't dwindle during the inhuman push and got stronger, and survived the extinction era, it's quite impressive how everything ended up in their favor, after decades of intentional neglecting
Kamala, did I ever tell you about the time I brainwashed a whole city to live out my fantasies of living with my dead robot husbando? The magical energy caused anyone who crossed the barrier to have their DNA altered, causing them to become a mutant, and somehow later created a chain reaction of all kinds of people becoming mutants. Also, there is a thousands year old king of Atlantis who had this specific mutation as well. You are the world's sixth mutant after King Namor, my father Magneto, myself, my brother Quicksilver, and Monica Rambeau. We're all good friends.
Nobody really gives a shit about this character like why out of all the characters the MCU bastardized on a consistent basis do people pretend to give a shit if she is inhuman or not
yeah they turned Mar-vell into a Karen, Taskmaster into a female burn victim wearing a male stuntman suit, Thor into a literal moron, turned Loki into a cuck, just ruined every villain ever, made Reed, Black Bolt and Xavier a joke etc
Kamala not being big hands Inhuman isn't as bad as what happened to everyone else
In case anyone still have doubts
https://bleedingcool.com/tv/ms-marvel-vellani-ali-discuss-that-mcu-game-changer-spoilers/ >As you know, the background on Kamala's (Vellani) powers has evolved over the course of the season. The bangle wasn't the source of her power, just a way of activating the power that was already inside of her. Deeper into the series, Kamala's told that she's a supernatural being known as a djinn. But in S01E06 "No Normal," her friend Bruno (Matt Lintz) has an even bigger reveal, telling her that there is something different in her genes… "like a mutation." At that point, you can hear the brief clip from the X-Men: The Animated Series theme song play after Bruno's comment and before Kamala responds. Sound familiar? Because viewers were also teased with some "X-Men: TAS" love during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with Patrick Stewart's Profession X (Charles Xavier) entering the scene at one point as the close-caption lists his entrance music as "'X-MEN'97' THEME PLAYING."
>Describing it as the "best day of my life," Ali revealed that bringing mutants into the conversation wasn't a plan that was in play from the start. "It wasn't from the beginning [of the show]. With Marvel, something's always a moving piece, and we're trying to solve this question of, 'If any of [Kamala's family] put the bangle on, would they have powers?' The answer was always no, from a character perspective, no." So having Kamala's genetics different from her family not only served the series' storyline but it also "fit into the logic of the wider MCU."
>And what about Vellani? Well, let's just say that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige's attention was clearly gotten with an all-caps email. "They sent me, and only me, the draft [of the final episode], and I immediately freaked out. I emailed Kevin Feige in all caps. I was like, are you doing this like for real? Are you sure? I'm so honored! I was like yelling at him through an email," Vellani revealed. "I was freaking out. This is the biggest deal in the world, and the fact that it's happening in our show is crazy." And if there's one person who understands the potential ramifications of the reveal, it's the Ms. Marvel star. "People are going to lose their minds. They're going to lose everything. I did. It's truly a really big deal."
>In fact, her excitement didn't exactly make filming the season an easy undertaking. "It took a really long time to film that scene because any time Matt [Lintz] would say that word I'd start giggling. I think we got the one take. The one you see in the episode is one of two that we got where I was mildly serious," Vellani explained. "It was really, really, really difficult. I think we have so many outtakes of me just breaking because I was so excited and giddy over this." As for Ali, the game-changer was the kind of thing her teenage self could've never imagined. "I feel so excited as a viewer of my show. The Bisha teen fan girl in me is like, 'I can't believe it.' And the fact that it's Kamala — it's her. It's like her wildest dream already came true over the show [gaining powers], but then we just gave her one more bit of the dream. It's incredible. I'm overjoyed," Ali added.
so yeah, this is not another bohner (pun intended). this is the real deal
People have been saying Kamal it's about to be changed permanently into a mutant in the comic books since before death of Inhumans comic just because he might be amusing in one continuity doesn't mean they're about to make a mutant in everything.
We only have evidence he's a mutant in the Cinematic Universe not 616.

welp probably because it's still a fresh thing. marvel comics are a separate division and they don't have a peek behind the curtain deal like they had in the past, so a lot of times it's a guessing game for them. but considering that they repaired wanda's relationship with x-men thanks to wandavision, one can only guess that kamala will also be in one way or another more x-men oriented in the not so far future
there's also another option - full retcon of all inhumans into sort of alien mutants. aks yourself which is worse for you and it's going to happen
You might not be speaking out of denial in this case; in the comics, she was explicitly seen getting powers from Terrigenesis so the mutant twist would be harder to pull off. Then again, no one reads comics.
she was hit by a mist - that part is true, but it also was explicitly said that she didn't go through the terrigenesis like any other inhuman

Actually her brother had superpowers because of the fake Miss before battle world and it was only after and because of battle World it became poisonous the mutants so he wanted have gotten sick if he had it by being a mutant also he's like 5 years older than Kamala if he was amusing his powers would have activated before her. And there were no evidence his son has powers already.

it would result in the x-men franchise and x-gays in particular bein literally feared and loathed, and maybe even persecuted >just like in comics
they will probably not touch the issue, but it all depends on when the earliest episodes were produced, the cartoon was in production since early inhuman push, so you never know
So Kamala just so happens to be a half extradimensional Djinn who's also happens to be a mutant? What is she Pixie now? Also the Clandestines just so happens to have a similar looking effect to Inhumans on Agents of Shield when they got exposed to the "Noor energy/mist"? What the frick is going on? Her bangle switching her out with Captain Marvel suggests its Kree tech, plus we had the blue dead corpse the bangle belonged to as well. Is Kamala a mutant? an Inhuman? a Djinn? Are Djinn really Inhumans? Why is Kamala's mutant ability to harness Noor energy just like that of a full Djinn like Kamran?
Barely anytime for the X-men to be around though, 3 years max. And it won't be as unique or cool if they don't interact with any of the original big Avengers. Cap and Iron Man left too soon, and the Infinity Gauntlet happened too soon as well.
This bothers me more than just changing her species. If you want her to be a mutant, just let her be a mutant, don't do this weird dick tease that ends up needlessly convoluted.
>Nia Dacosta pitched a movie to Marvel about Cyclops and Storm teaming up with Galactus >she understands that Galactus is cool >she understands that the X-Men also do space stuff and not just racism allegories >she understands that Cyclops is cool and didn't just immediately go for Wolverine
I think the mad lady can save The Marvels.
Didn't that already happen? All that was left was Kamala, Moon Girl and most of the royal family. A bit extreme even if I wasn't all that attached to them.
Didn't that already happen? All that was left was Kamala, Moon Girl and most of the royal family. A bit extreme even if I wasn't all that attached to them.
>Didn't that already happen? All that was left was Kamala, Moon Girl and most of the royal family.
Oh please say berry killed any name in humans in death of the Inhumans.
Because, as has been explained numerous times, her comic powers would look much more moronic. It's hard to make stretchy morphing people look good on a major movie budget, let alone TV. Sparkles don't trip humans' uncanniness detector the same way.
Yes, can't argue with those points. They minimize the body doing something we know it can't. But it's a lot harder when the body is a real one. The Incredibles has more leeway because the bodies are fake to begin with and we're trained to accept cartoony exaggeration. If they'd dialed up the realism in that movie, it probably wouldn't have worked as well as it did.
I feel like I can't entirely fault scrubbing that out >Having to animate Kamala big-stepping around, having giant flesh hands that don't look like shit, having to either work around her clothes or explain how they stretch so well
Still it's kind of ass that you'd almost think her powers are just pretty purple crystal light walls. She spends more time making platformer pads than she does big fisting things and stomping about.
I would love it if the casual scum would stop acting like every young Marvel character was on the same team.
They did correctly forget Tommy exists though.
Loved the whole series. Embarrassing that it took a Marvel show to teach me about the Partition but thankful these shows are getting made to teach us about different histories
>inhumans will be mutants in the MCU >Inhumans will be made by kree and celestials dna experiments, a fusion of the inhumans origins and Aaron explanation for mutants >Black Bolt will take the role of Magneto >Attilan will be in the Savage Lands and be an utopia for mutants >Professor X will be played by Giancarlo Esposito
Screencap this
>Kamala gets kidnapped to Krakoa because current X-Men are ok with mutant supremacy >As a Muslim gets disgusted by the debauchery and as a American minority is disgusted by the casual mutant supremacy and letting genocidal monsters like Emma Frost, Apocalypse, and Magneto be leaders >Teams up with Dust to escape Krakoa >Eventually leads to a sequel of a team under Capt Marvel and including Ms Marvel vs Krakoa mutants
Negatory. We all know Kamala's unrestrained desire for delicious infidel meat. If anything they'd have to throw her in the pit to stop her crashing all their orgies only for her to bust out because you can't stop the top. How do you think Xavier is going to feel when he discovers Kamala's embiggened futa dong raping the island itself?
I can't see mutants becoming the super oppressed minority in the MCU because to Disney's credit they try to avoid blatant shit like that in the films. Civil war already happened and cap and tony are dead so no registration angle. I can see a roundup though of the younger children to place them in a school but no Xavier or Magneto because 1. They haven't met yet probably and 2.mutants are becoming a new thing so the whole MLK vs Malcom X scenario doesn't work
I bet they will play this up like the New Mutants movie, except not a shit attempt at a half-assed horror movie.
So governments will obviously try to control the surge of super-powered individuals and national security interests will play off against individual rights.
Sure hope they don't go all out in terms of power level, though. Otherwise it would be really hard to argue governments should not only leave weird kids alone, but refrain from attempting to control world-ending threats.
I sure hope there will be some of the obvious aspects like deleterious powers addressed, and not just the braindead libertarian approach of only focusing on the few chosen heroes and how being held responsible for that much power is really harshing their mellows.
I guess the scene of Kamala with Skunk Girl could fit in there, and she would point at Kamala's flashy, pretty powers compared to her supernaturally bad smell as an argument why an anti-mutant drug is really important for the less fortunate mutants.
Of course the question of permanent or temporary restrictions through medication would be an important distinction, much like with birth control.
So you could go into some really dark aspects of what governments do to "less desirable" citizens.
The focus on social outcomes, the terror of daily violence and ability to not take itself too seriously all the time is certainly does give it interesting qualities for an X-Men product.
But what does it have to do with Resident Evil, like at all? There's not even zombies in it, far as I know. Didn't watch the third season yet.

Deadpool is not mutant in comics, and in the movies he's sort of, artificial mutant? If anything, Shriek from Venom 2 is the real first mutant introduced in MCU
They are intersecting groups, but not the same thing.
Mutants in the Marvel sense are humans with a specific genetic factor that causes them to display abnormal traits and abilities.
Super heroes are people, not necessarily humans, who behave heroically with the help of any kind of superhuman, or even technically achievable power.
Some Mutants are superheroes, some superheroes are Mutants. But a lot aren't.
Sure looks like one.

I wanna motorboat those breasts, tbh.
Yoy call those mosquito bites, breasts?
>Disney plus is dying
>ms marvel has worst views of any show yet
>"duuuude what if we references x-men"
>"yes yes a thousand times yes play the song too"
Pretty pathetic. I guess changing her powers once wasn't enough.......
>Disney plus is dying
No it's not, but MM is most surely a flop.
>Inhumangay
No such thing
>since the actress actual ages in real time
and everyone else doesn't?
The MCU plans on having X-Men be occult so there's still a no mutant policy for the X0Men themselves
>a no mutant policy
And yet the word "mutation" is used in the very scene we're discussing.
Does Disney publish their streaming ratings somewhere?
yes they do, ms marvel is barely at the top ten
Anon I like Kamala but everything she's been has been a failure.
Tho, to be fair, those things would have been failures without Kamala anyway so it isn't really her fault.
>Every MCU TV show has been getting worse and worse ratings because people are just getting tired of watching the TV shows at this point it doesn't actually mean each TV shows getting worse and worse.
Moon Knight actually was able to improve viewership by the finale and beat WandaVision
>people are just getting tired of watching the TV shows at this point
i dont know why they are saturating the market this much
You really think they would make a last minute reshoot for it?
I always wonder if Feige regrets changing Carol Danvers to Carl Manvers and Ms Marvel to Ms Taliban,
>Brie Larson is the most hated actress in the MCU.
Marvel.
You are a bad lawyer, Feige always hated the classic Marvel comics, cheesecake, straight heroes
Ah yes, good ol' Pat McCrotch and his neverending quest to post his clickbait shit on Cinemaphile. You might as well post a link to We Got This Covered.
>delusions: the post
>actually thinks Feige is in charge of Marvel Editorial 10 years ago
Frick off back to Cinemaphile
Do you honestly think Disney cares one iota about the comics now at this point outside of their value as IP? If Feige said every mutant was the result yakub ejaculating on Earth it would become the new canon
>If Feige said every mutant was the result yakub ejaculating on Earth it would become the new canon
It's actually canon, in Aaron Avengers there is Loki that explains mutants were created by the blood of a dying celestial on earth
My point is that if Feige said it, it's the new canon
plus is dying
How much?
Dude you reeealllllyyyy think that after the show aired for a few episodes they decided to do some fricking reshoot and pump put that reference?
Are you fricking dense or just don’t have an actual human brain in your head capable of critical thinking?
Unironically her power change is the best thing. Only gayot fetishists liked her stretchy powers.
This! Why do people like "unique" powersets
>thing I don't like is failing
>"proof?"
>crickets
cope. he lost. you lost the culture war.
TICK TOCK CAPTAIN MARVEL
>steals her powers
>then steals her biggest fan
SOUTHERN BELLE STAY WINNING
I really hope so, Brie Lawrence is such a b***h.
Never saw that episode, only heard from comic fans that that's why Rogue in that series had those powers by default.
Rogue kept them permanently because she drained her longer than she's ever drained anyone else. Carol gets put into a coma afterwards and still hasn't awakened
based
Her art is so inconsistent in the actual comics. Fan artists seem to be able to make her unbelievably cute yet Marvel is hit and miss. If they want this character to sell so bad you’d think they’d get her the best artists.
A series drawn by Gurihuru would be great
Gurihiru*
Main reason I liked Gwenpool
X-gays win forever
the moment they had the "no one will ever accept you" dialogue I thought of x-men
even the government agent is acting like a william stryker wanna-be
So is there even a hint of her stretching, or is it a total waste of time?
there are certainly hints, but theyre just that. she has hard light now.
Why would she need to stretch when she has hard light?
>using the cartoon theme for the X-Men leitmotif in Multiverse of Madness and Ms Marvel because every other incarnation of the IP since has become a joke no one wants to associate with
>also reviving the cartoon for the same reason
The cartoon is going to suck given it will likely start off with introducing Legion and Scarlet Witch right away
Scarlet Witch was already in the original cartoon.
As a one-off, not a full-time member
I think at this point the MCU X-Men team will be based off the 1990s Cartoon team.
Good, that was the peak of the Xmen franchise
number confirm
I enjoyed 2,000s x-men a lot too. I'm so tired of them trying to rehash the 90s era.
>X-Men 92 continues getting sucked off by Marvel to appease aging millennials
>Evolution still hasn't had a continuation of any kind, despite introducing X-23.
Evolution was sub cw trash for fricked bg losers.
It was forgotten because it wasn't good.
>forgotten
>still maintains a large online fandom
>introduced a character that would get a major push in the X-Comics
Yup, that team but with Kamala replacing either Gambit or Beast
The frick the is wrong with you?
She's the new jubilee
Do you seriously think they are going to take out the asian ? Normies think they are just Wolverine with bombs and Furry Thing...thinking about it...now I'm sure she will replace Jean, they probably see her as box office poison
>Replace the Asian with a different Asian
What's the problem?
Pakistanis aren't considered "general" Asians like Chinese or Koreans. Even South Asians want to go under the Desi label.
They're still Asian regardless of what anyone wants to delude themselves otherwise
Replacing jean can only be a good thing she sucks
How fricking ass-blasted must Perlmutter be right now?
Kamala is trash and was trash and forever will be trash. That's why they are trying to make he more interesting but it's not really working jus making mutants sound gross.
>They won't pair her with Scott
Statistically likely, considering the high prevalence of incest in Pakistan.
There's already a thread on front page, useless as yours
>introduce all that alt dimension bullshit
>have the bands activate her power
>tease the kree
>tease mutants on top of that
Why have her break all the rules for how mutants work and then still tease her as a mutant. The whole thing is pointlessly convoluted.
she's gonna go full Ichigo and be every race in Marvel
Maximum Amerimutt.
>mutant
>inhuman
>God
>demon
>celestial
Anything I missed?
dinosaur
Nope, the first MCU mutant is shriek from Venom 2
Why are people saying this again now?
Because it happened in the latest episode
Oh God I hope she doesn't become a mutant in the comic book stand so leave her family and be obsessed about it 24 hours of the day.
The Inhumans took Toro so it’s only fair that the mutants take Ms. Marvel
Who Toro?
Sidekick of the original Human Torch
No one cares about Toro though.
>most mutants are consider terroists because there kind always kills and destroys stuff
well it fits
Only israeli mutants do that
(x) You're a Mut(an)t
So we Nega Bands now?
Pretty much
I didn’t watch the series so I don’t know what exactly happened here. Did Kamala transform into Carol or did they just swap places?
Swap
Brie looking hella cute
Oh wow, they made her suit way more form fitting
Nice
>has animu captain marvel fanart on her wall
that's kinda cute tbh
>Carol is disgusted by consoooomers
fricking based
Its Kamala shape-shifting into the form of Carol, you casual scum
they already confirmed it wasn't
It shouldn't even need confirmation. The scene doesn't make sense unless it's a body swap. Why would Kamala freak out over her own wallpaper? It's required to have happened.
Oh wait, they're going full Mar-Vell?
Yeah that seemed to be the set up for the bangles in the end
Huh, that's actually cleverer than I'd give them credit for. Maybe it's just the MCU's made the bar so low but it actually is an interesting twist to me, and certainly might actually make MCU Carol have finally something interesting as a character. I might actually watch this show now
You're going to have to see this show if you want to get the context for the pay off in The Marvels.
can you tell me what this means please
How new are you?
I have literally never posted here
What tool did you use to make the webm?
webm for morons:

Download.
Use.
Join the drooling tardism.
Still feel superior to people posting gifs.
I can already see the swap frickery in the upcoming movie and the disgusting quips that will come with it
So they're just throwing everything at the wall hoping that something sticks?
Is the show ratings and reviews this low? Have they no shame?
Cool, now give us Wolverine.
This made me laugh pretty fricking hard. I don't know why.
Cope
They literally played the X-Man riff when he said it
>Ms. Marvel
>June 2022
>Prof. Xavier in Multiverse of Madness
>May 2022
Hmm.
>>Prof. Xavier in Multiverse of Madness
>>May 2022
So was Black Bolt.
Legit question, what would happen if both groups were merged? They are technically groups with mutated dna.
If she is a mutant, the hell was that weird dimension she travelled to in the first episode? Also, is Kamran a mutant too, since he has similar powers, and if so, does that make the ClanDestine mutants? This is sort of confusing...
welcome to marvel - confusion is our specialty
Not really Kamala is just a dog shit poo in the loo ass water trashcan character
>does that make the ClanDestine mutants
Here's a one-step guide to enjoying the MCU:
Wasn't it just a vision of the night at the train station? With the crowd just being creepy and glowy-eyed for mystery?
Ok
>Say hello to the MCU's first mutant.
A Mutant without any power lmao
Is the series over now? I might half heartedly watch it while doing something else if so.
Poor guy was stuck in a time loop
Yes.
It was actually pretty good despite most people just auto disregarding it due to "teen drama"
They were right to do so because it was boring garbage.
I thought it was Wanda and Pietro? They also showed Xavier in the midst recent Dr Strange.
Why?
Because frick you.
Corporate pissing contest
Cause inhumans must suffer
Nah they'llnjust make them into The Mutant Royal Family, the comics will follow along and they will be allowed in Krakoa.
There already was a mutant royal family and most of its members are accounted for.
Well you'll have two when they turn the Inhumans into mutants. It's OK the X-Men forgive genociders if they are mutants.
True. Otherwise you apparently have to give all of them free lives even if they made up the crime you committed.
Aaron already started it in his avengers run, though
Nobody at Marvel respects Aaron, though.
considering that it's been referenced in eternals for example, I beg to differ
>considers being attached to the Eternals as respect
Big oof.
>have main villain be racist who claims muties are the master race
>make them literally be the master race
i dont understand
you had to be there
Back in the day, Inhumans were either called self-induced mutants, or just alien-human hybrids with latent mutant genes unlocked with terrigen mist
>x-gene was introduced by the celestials
>mutants start to appear
>a group split off from humanity thousands of years ago and hide away
>genetic issues start to appear due to a small population
>attempts to fix it result in the x-gene being deactivated
>terrigenesis is created as a way to introduce an artificial mutation based on the person's dormant x-gene
How many power explanations did they go through in one season?
>Its the bracelet
>Actually you're a Djinn
>Actually you're a mutant
>Inhuman teases for The Marvels
Its only been a few episodes and already her origin is messy as frick.
>the end result is teaching people that it doesn't matter where your powers come from, but how you use it
Which would not be a bad lesson all around, but I can't wait for her to be made into some kind of snowflake where she *is* everything all at once, but also not really at the same time just so they avoid trying to piss one group off.
Cope
Just have an ep where she and miles are laying post coitous in bed.
To break the tension and take their my ND off of the fact that they can't just be friends anymore miles asks her "Soon ... Where do your powers come from?"
The moment he asks her he's met with a blank stare and 5 minutes ago f stone cold silence
She responds "I'm not really sure".
He says. Seriously?
She thinks for a minute before shrugging and disappearing beneath the tattered sex stained remains of her favorite blanket.
I dont mind Ms Marvel being a mutant. Inhumans have no place in the MCU. Too crowded for the shit movie agenda that Marvel have.
This is why people shill Rippaverse
Just because MM didn't do that hot and they don't know what the frick they want to do with her character doesn't mean they're going to go crazy and shill that shit, anon.
Was this Feige's way of getting back at Perlmutter?
Like Feige just thought, if that butthole is gonna ruin Inhumans for me then I will just makes them mutants
I don't like it. Kamala was able to succeed because she was a big fish in a small pond.
What's to stop her being shoved to the side now in favor of the same ten X-Men the world uses in fricking everything?
Inhumanbros why do they hate us?
shoosh, you don't even exist. stop pretending to be an inhumangay
Perlmutter is our savior of the MCU
Seeing Kamala lust after the chad in episode 2 was bad enough but the scene in the finale made my blood boil
>the chad
He was high tier normie at best
What will be the new PC woke term for X-Men be?
X-Nonbinary Fluid Gendered Peoples of Alternate Genetics
Mxn
I feel like mcu is aimless as of now, and no one has literally any plan about how to introduce the muties. It's going to be a cheesy bird mess
it's weird to imagine professor x as spending most of his life a normal disabled guy
Why would he be disabled if he never fights Magneto?
Wasn't it some guy called Lucifer who crippled him in the comics?
I only know that because of X-Men Legends 2 trivia game, but whatever
That's nu canon lore shit. Xavier was always crippled after a fight with Magneto
>mutants hid themselves among the wealthy elite for centuries
>they used their wealth and influence to keep mutants safe and hidden
>the hellfire club was their secret society dedicated to protecting mutants
>snap happens
>magneto thinks this is the right time to reveal themselves and take the world that's rightfully there's
>xavier agrees they should reveal mutants to the world, but as heroes and champions, not conquerors
>they debate for years until everyone returns
>magneto and xavier get in to more and more arguments, causing the hellfire club to split
>magneto forms the brotherhood
>xavier forms the x-men
magneto neither can or will keep a secret that long
>WandaVision established that some people are born with potential that normally withers, but exposure to infinity stone energy can kickstart it.
>Supernatural prophesized being chosen by an elder god
>Scientific random mutations caused by a gene introduced into humanity by giant aliens
Can someone explain the sudden mutant gene introduction? The context? You can’t just make them a thing now
They said they had the next 5 years planned out when they acquired fox and weren't in a rush to shoehorn them into their plans. That was almost 5 years ago, so they're finally opening the sluice gate of those acquired properties.
That didn't answer my question. Who tells her this information? How the frick can mutants just be a thing now?
It's not introduced in universe, it's introduced to the audience because 'this seems like a mutation' and an old x-men jingle can only mean one thing.
What are the odds it's one big fake out and it turns it she's something else, Inhuman or otherwise?
Very small chance it's a fake-out specific to her, no chance that it's another Quicksilver meta joke. They'd have PR nipping this in the bud immediately to avoid backlash. This should be taken as confirmation that mutants are coming ... eventually, and they'll probably have Kamala as one of them.
Don't Mutants exist because Stan Lee didn't want to make another explanation for a bunch of characters' powers so he just went, "They were born with it"?
don't you exist, because instead of being aborted your mother said "frick it, let him live and suffer"?
What exactly happens? I don't wanna watch the whole episode to just hear the cartoon theme.
>Kamala goes to orgy island and joins the new mutants where Anya Taylor Joy is dressed as pic related
only morons are opposed to this
This! X-gays keep winning!
jokes aside, but considering that the fanbase didn't dwindle during the inhuman push and got stronger, and survived the extinction era, it's quite impressive how everything ended up in their favor, after decades of intentional neglecting
I feel like she would also mention her kids.
frick you're right, I had one job
But they never knew what you sacrificed, Wanda!
Wasn't she meant to be a djinn or something?
it turns out it was a red herring
Nah, she’s 3/4 of the Fantastic four now. She has stretch, defence rocks, and force fields.
>the post credits scene was transformation instead of transportation
Kamala the Super Skrull confirmed
See, now that would be interesting.
Wasn't Janet already the first official MCU mutant?
Did they really play the 90s Xmen theme a little?
Yes. The MCU's big plans for the X-Men so far amount to member berries for the 90s cartoon.
>Ms Marvel is MCU Jubilee/Dazzler?
Nobody really gives a shit about this character like why out of all the characters the MCU bastardized on a consistent basis do people pretend to give a shit if she is inhuman or not
She was actually one of the more popular legacy characters and people were dismayed the embiggen memes were mostly gone
I think it's more that made her origin more convoluted than it needed to be.
yeah they turned Mar-vell into a Karen, Taskmaster into a female burn victim wearing a male stuntman suit, Thor into a literal moron, turned Loki into a cuck, just ruined every villain ever, made Reed, Black Bolt and Xavier a joke etc
Kamala not being big hands Inhuman isn't as bad as what happened to everyone else
In case anyone still have doubts
https://bleedingcool.com/tv/ms-marvel-vellani-ali-discuss-that-mcu-game-changer-spoilers/
>As you know, the background on Kamala's (Vellani) powers has evolved over the course of the season.

Doesn't necessarily mean Caesar mutant in that continuity and MCU doesn't mean anything for 616.
Kamala.
denial is only the first step anon, there are still 4 more
People have been saying Kamal it's about to be changed permanently into a mutant in the comic books since before death of Inhumans comic just because he might be amusing in one continuity doesn't mean they're about to make a mutant in everything.
to be fair, I didn't expect marvel to really retcon kamala into a mutie, alas it's a big deal, and it happened
I think I just found their out.
it was always suspiciously set up this way. her brother was also shown to react allergically to terrigen mists, as if it was killing him, and he had some superpowers for a moment
Those were essentially bootleg mists he was exposed to. Kamran was too stupid to tell the difference.
She's not stupid she just did not grow up in superhero Society or in human society. She was a inhuman and superhero for like one and a half months at that point.
I'm talking about Kamran, moron.
>Those were essentially bootleg mists he was exposed to
which is why he got ill, instead of being killed, as back then the mists were lethal to muties. so a bootleg mist was still a mist
Actually her brother had superpowers because of the fake Miss before battle world and it was only after and because of battle World it became poisonous the mutants so he wanted have gotten sick if he had it by being a mutant also he's like 5 years older than Kamala if he was amusing his powers would have activated before her. And there were no evidence his son has powers already.
obviously it can be spun any way marvel wants to. I doubt it's going to be revisited or touched upon, it's just that it can be easily retconned just in case
>MCU doesn't mean anything for 616.
Anon…
Do you have any evidence to count what I said?
>Eternals movie
>Eternals comic, and currently an event
>Shang Chi movie
>Shang Chi ongoing and upcoming mini-series
yup, it means shit
Effects what they are people who make comics are publishing in the comics. Did they make any significantly changes to Long existing superheroes because it happened in m c u you?
>Did they make any significantly changes to Long existing superheroes because it happened in m c u you?
The Guardians are now clones of their MCU versions when they were written much differently.
yes, for example - Wanda and Pietro
?
More Thanos appearances, and pretending he was always a big, significant villain in MU, while he was in fact, an obscure Silver Surfer villain before
>while he was in fact, an obscure Silver Surfer villain before
Your ignorance is showing
Bad example, Thanos was always a big significant villain. He maybe showed up less, but when he did, you know he was going to frick shit up. He was the ultimate danger. I'm guessing he's written weaker, stupider and less competent now though.
>I'm guessing he's written weaker, stupider and less competent now though.
If anything I'd say he's taken more seriously now
Thatd a bad example. This isn't actually 616 though. It's from a comic aimed at younger readers.
Something like that would never happen nowadays young comic or not is the point
Tony Stark became poor man's RDJ and nowhere near as charming. Shuri changed her look and personality to that of the comics. Guardians of the Galaxy probably got the biggest change because of the MCU announcement.
I would fricking love if this happened the meltdown would be massive.
it would result in the x-men franchise and x-gays in particular bein literally feared and loathed, and maybe even persecuted
>just like in comics
A mutant shouldn't need anything to unlock their powers, they develop naturally. Unlocking the powers is an Inhuman trait.
There are times where X-gene needed external stimuli to activate. At least that's what happened to Mettle.
Didn't know that, but the vast majority doesn't.
True. Plus what happened to Mettle was nowhere close to space bangles…
With the obvious imminent synergy with the comics, are they going to allow her on their super secret sex island of morally ambiguous mutants?
the mists hit her
she has some weird trip
and later emerges from some black egg, instead of green cocoon
It was night. That cocoon finger just look darker at night.
stop coming up with bullshit excuses. every other example of cocoon emerging in the comic was green, except ms marvel's. what a coincidence
Only important part
Can the Inhuman Royal Family still stick around as Fantastic Four supporting characters? I feel that's a fair enough compromise.
sure, probably
The Marvels are still happening? when was the last time it got any news? 2018?
So is Moon Girl going to keep her Inhuman status in the cartoon or will they just not touch on the issue?
they will probably not touch the issue, but it all depends on when the earliest episodes were produced, the cartoon was in production since early inhuman push, so you never know
So Kamala just so happens to be a half extradimensional Djinn who's also happens to be a mutant? What is she Pixie now? Also the Clandestines just so happens to have a similar looking effect to Inhumans on Agents of Shield when they got exposed to the "Noor energy/mist"? What the frick is going on? Her bangle switching her out with Captain Marvel suggests its Kree tech, plus we had the blue dead corpse the bangle belonged to as well. Is Kamala a mutant? an Inhuman? a Djinn? Are Djinn really Inhumans? Why is Kamala's mutant ability to harness Noor energy just like that of a full Djinn like Kamran?
>"Hello, we're the post-Endgame MCU, we don't know what the frick we're doing anymore."
Apparently they have part of a plan with Kang and the Multiverse. Honestly I think by 2028, the original MCU might be laid to rest.
Barely anytime for the X-men to be around though, 3 years max. And it won't be as unique or cool if they don't interact with any of the original big Avengers. Cap and Iron Man left too soon, and the Infinity Gauntlet happened too soon as well.
This bothers me more than just changing her species. If you want her to be a mutant, just let her be a mutant, don't do this weird dick tease that ends up needlessly convoluted.
that was pretty heavy handed
>Kamala, there's something different in your jeans
Is it a penis?
>Kamala grows a huge glowing futa dick
Nice. The fanfics write themselves.
If they stuck with the original powers, it would have been actual flesh
Shit like this why the sleazy singer xmen are being memory holed and secret invasion will never happen.
Good. X-Men are friends with the MCU now.
You'd think, but I've yet to read anything like it.
it's a penis-tation
it's pickle dick
>Kamala, there's something different in your JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAN
>Nia Dacosta pitched a movie to Marvel about Cyclops and Storm teaming up with Galactus
>she understands that Galactus is cool
>she understands that the X-Men also do space stuff and not just racism allegories
>she understands that Cyclops is cool and didn't just immediately go for Wolverine
I think the mad lady can save The Marvels.
will best character get his powers in season 2? will he fight in the secret wars?
Inhuman genocide in the comics when?
Didn't that already happen? All that was left was Kamala, Moon Girl and most of the royal family. A bit extreme even if I wasn't all that attached to them.
>Didn't that already happen? All that was left was Kamala, Moon Girl and most of the royal family.
Oh please say berry killed any name in humans in death of the Inhumans.
I'm sorry what?

Why did you link a post from years ago?
follow the stripe with your tongue
>weird stretch and embiggen powers removed
I will now never watch your movie and/or streaming service.
That shit was ugly. Based MCU for getting rid of that fetish shit.
It's there but they chose to have it manifest in a weird roundabout way. I don't really understand why her powers run on purple drank.
Because, as has been explained numerous times, her comic powers would look much more moronic. It's hard to make stretchy morphing people look good on a major movie budget, let alone TV. Sparkles don't trip humans' uncanniness detector the same way.
This. Why would want something so ugly on live action TV?
Maybe they should talk to some fricking animators over mocking them at the Oscars. Brad Bord had thst shit locked down twenty years ago.
Don't distort the face. Remember inner tension. Don't show skin stretching. Keep movements snappy.
It's not hard, but no one can do it right for some reason.
Source
I feel like I can't entirely fault scrubbing that out
>Having to animate Kamala big-stepping around, having giant flesh hands that don't look like shit, having to either work around her clothes or explain how they stretch so well
Still it's kind of ass that you'd almost think her powers are just pretty purple crystal light walls. She spends more time making platformer pads than she does big fisting things and stomping about.
Imagine being a MCU fan
I would love it if the casual scum would stop acting like every young Marvel character was on the same team.
They did correctly forget Tommy exists though.
>feige not liking the INHUMAN MASTER RACE
He really is a fa*cough*petty, isn't he.
that's racist
>ugly shitskin as first mutant
>not big titty vampire white waman
Loved the whole series. Embarrassing that it took a Marvel show to teach me about the Partition but thankful these shows are getting made to teach us about different histories
>inhumans will be mutants in the MCU
>Inhumans will be made by kree and celestials dna experiments, a fusion of the inhumans origins and Aaron explanation for mutants
>Black Bolt will take the role of Magneto
>Attilan will be in the Savage Lands and be an utopia for mutants
>Professor X will be played by Giancarlo Esposito
Screencap this
>Giancarlo Esposito
Wasn't he rumored for Magneto?
They will change mind
>Kamala gets kidnapped to Krakoa because current X-Men are ok with mutant supremacy
>As a Muslim gets disgusted by the debauchery and as a American minority is disgusted by the casual mutant supremacy and letting genocidal monsters like Emma Frost, Apocalypse, and Magneto be leaders
>Teams up with Dust to escape Krakoa
>Eventually leads to a sequel of a team under Capt Marvel and including Ms Marvel vs Krakoa mutants
Would you watch this?
TICK TOCK MUTIE
I can imagine the MCU version
>you're tearing me apart sentinelisa!
The Sentinel attack intro was the best thing in any X-Men movie ever. They were actually brutal as frick and terrifying.
Is it weird that Umbrella Academy looks like an awful Resident Evil show to me, but looks like a halfway decent X-Men show at the same time?
The focus on social outcomes, the terror of daily violence and ability to not take itself too seriously all the time is certainly does give it interesting qualities for an X-Men product.
But what does it have to do with Resident Evil, like at all? There's not even zombies in it, far as I know. Didn't watch the third season yet.
Is it because both series have something with Umbrella in it?
>Umbrella Academy was written to be Gerard Way's take on Doom Patrol
>X-Men was often thought to be based on Doom Patrol
>Both X-Men and DP have shared writers and artists
Pottery
>Umbrella Academy was written to be Gerard Way's take on Doom Patrol
>X-Men was often thought to be based on Doom Patrol
>Both X-Men and DP have shared writers and artists
What about Deadpool?
Good point.
Deadpool is not mutant in comics, and in the movies he's sort of, artificial mutant? If anything, Shriek from Venom 2 is the real first mutant introduced in MCU
WHAT THE FRICK IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MUTANT AND A FRICKING SUPERHERO!?!?!!?
They are intersecting groups, but not the same thing.
Mutants in the Marvel sense are humans with a specific genetic factor that causes them to display abnormal traits and abilities.
Super heroes are people, not necessarily humans, who behave heroically with the help of any kind of superhuman, or even technically achievable power.
Some Mutants are superheroes, some superheroes are Mutants. But a lot aren't.
I would add to the fact that your average mutant is a supervillain, and historical/mythical characters like Mordred, Rasputin.
It's finally time.
What upsets me more is that she isn’t brown enough
