>says that under patriarchy all men exhibit the same behaviors, therefore "yes all men is the same"
>the one man that sides with the women is the effeminate one who gets no action, therefore effeminate = gay = not worthy of female attention
>barbie goes to the gynecologist at the end, therefore having a pussy = being a Real woman
>makes no real commentary on how patriarchy can affect men too
>original creator of barbie is treated as literal God capable of making her into a real human, therefore capitalism = good

is it me or is this movie so wrapped up in its own bullshit that it reinforces what it's trying to criticize?

This homie is not allowed at My Mojo Dojo Casa House

Worst part is that even when he starts fighting those dudes on the road (which is completely out of character but nevermind), they still don't respect him. The image of him being in "the friendzone" is so deeply set it, he can't possibly get out anymore even if he did man up. He'd pretty much have to move to the next town over where nobody knows him and starts acting like a man there because he's been branded the eternal nice guy in Barbieland.

what life and a shit ton of experience has taught me (outside that stupid nice guy meme) is that women want someone who treats them like shit and they use and manipulate the good guy.

Well.... yeah, it was made by a feminist. All they do is prove misogynists right and show that their delusions are just that, delusions.

    >>the one man that sides with the women is the effeminate one who gets no action, therefore effeminate = gay = not worthy of female attention

No, he's literally the ideal feminist male: a wuss who is easy to manipulate and just serves female interests. When they say "feminism is for everyone, including men", this is what they mean. The Alans of the world are heterosexual men, and they're not gay. When feminists talk about "toxic masculinity", reminder that Allan is a male minus all the "toxic" elements: he lacks any drive to assert himself, and becomes a jelly fish.

    >is it me or is this movie so wrapped up in its own bullshit that it reinforces what it's trying to criticize?

Feminism is 100% just neuroticism and narcissism made manifest into an ideology. It's 100% paranoid, and schizophrenic and made to serve their insecurities rather than actually fix anything. ie it's leftism.

I didn't hate this movie but I think it was very sloppy in its execution and messaging. Its kind of crazy to see how much adults treating it like this important one in a 100 year type of movie and I'm not looking forward to hearing normies seethe when it doesn't sweep the oscars

The script is awful. Her reason to go to the real world is shallow. The way everybody acts in the real world is too over the top. Kate McKinnon and Will Ferrel don't seem to be having a good time while filming. The conclusion was also confusing. Barbie just wanted to live her life. She never wanted to become human.

You're making the naive assumption that feminists and other leftists are about "equality", or universal human values and rights. They do not care at all about people who are not themselves, so creating systems that benefit themselves, but would make others miserable is fine with them. Lack of empathy and self-centeredness is typical of leftists.

Feminism is 100% a scam for men, and any male who adopts it accepts an unequal system where they get treated like a doormat and are expected to praise it.

This is what nu-males are: feminist males.

Yes anon, we had about a hundred bump limits threads when it came out discussing how this movie makes no goddamn sense, or rather, that it subverts its own stupid arguments with what the director and writers thought were clever gotchas at "the patriarchy".

Women, as usual, suck at their own propaganda. Everyone loved Ryan Gosling because men naturally have charisma, strive and a (hero's) journey to pass through, while women have nothing but pathos. This is reflected in the 3 minute roastie rant that was supposed to be this grand cathartic speech, which ended up flat and forgettable, while Kenergy memes dominated the threads and drew most of the discussions around how Ken is more of a protagonist than the protagonist of the fricking movie.

It's just that feminist theory is so schizophrenic and built upon their emotions and emotional reasoning, that it's completely incoherent. The only thing that matters is that they're the world's biggest victims because they have an axe wound between their legs.

      >Women, as usual, suck at their own propaganda. Everyone loved Ryan Gosling because men naturally have charisma,

I know what they were going for that Ryan Goslin stands in for women and we are supposed to take pity on his plight, then apply it to the real world.

...but the Ken's don't have homes and live in a plastic world where there's no money and no one really works and just pretends to. How does this fantasy world apply to the real world? Are women homeless or something?

It is just so shallow and stpuid, and falls apart with any thought.

And Barbie is the boring straight man while Ken is the dynamic hero on a journey. Goose is hilarious in the film (he's a great comedic actor) while Margot Robbie was blank face.

Allen is the ideal feminist ally. A sexless male who does whatever is asked then immediately disappears when he is no longer needed. He makes no demands and has no real personality or identity. He just vaguely agrees that "patriarchy is bad for me too" but after helping overthrow it gets nothing.

They want people with military experience, not random nobodies. The downside is that Ukraine would use the experienced foreign troops as shock-troopers, doing the first most costly and risky assaults, then Ukraine troops would then mop up. Ukraine military spokesmen then proudly proclaim that Ukraine military captured the town and no mention of foreigners. They got a little pissy being used like that.

Where does the movie criticise capitalism? It can't take that angle because it needed Mattel's blessing. Anyway, you obviously stopped paying attention at the end because when Barbie asks to be made real she is told she can do it herself. The creator didn't have that power.

What I found interesting about this movie is that everyone in the Kendom was happy. But they tried to show how "fragile" male-led societies are... by having women frick it up for them. Nothing was wrong until the dumb b***hes played them against each other, and this was supposed to be some sort of big win for women showing how they do it better, when in reality it perfectly showcased how women are consistently getting in the way of societal progress by constantly baiting men into fighting each other.

The Kendom seemed like a giant party where everyone was having fun. They hvae to cheat twice with "brainwashing" to excuse it. If you have to cheat then why is it a good or bad thing?
