this movie and the blade witch project gave me seasick.
>The Blade Witch Project
Sounds pretty brutal famalam
Some motherfrickers always trying to kick maps into creeks.
At least it's not another thread comparing it and The Descent.
Unironically would I like this if I liked the descent?
Yeah but it isn't scary by any means. It's a good movie but if you're a grown man you shouldn't be scared of it. The Descent is actually scarier because it has a barely reasonable explanation and mankind just dislikes the dark in general.
Depends on how much shlock you can tolerate, it gets pretty shlocky at the end. But it's worth a watch definitely has a unique feel.
Limiting to whatever shitflix has is the mistake
>Event horizon
>Hellraisers
>Tremors mostly just the first one, second one is straight to dvd quality
>Hardware
>Splinter
>Legion
>Mandy
>The sadness
>Invasion of the body snatchers
mostly just the first one, second one is straight to dvd quality
It's still entertaining, it just feels way more like they didn't know what to do exactly for a sequel
Yeah I'm not like not recommending it but it is jarring going from the kino of tremors to tremors 2. The idea is kinda fun but like fundamentally undermines the monster.
AASB is better than The Descent
i lik movie very goood
How does this movie compare to The Descent?
Let me put it this way. The Descent is actually good.
It's like the Descent if it was written by inbred morons.
The Decent is a good movie. AASB had one good scene, and it was very quick
Tomb Raider protag was kind of annoying, though I did like how they explained why she was so desperate to get the grail at the end (which also helped to provide context to her perfectionist personality.)
Times you acted like La Taupe
>I know what you're doing, OP
clevergirl.jpeg
This movie is based for featuring Scratch Massive and La Femme.
Totally-not-Lara-Croft rip off was cute there.
the goonies
>go to Hell
>There's some magic stone there
>no, actually the girl is the Holy Grial
Writer just throwing shit at the wall
Yeah movie kind of falls apart once they reach Hell.
I will never understand the praise this shit movie gets
Acting is atrocious
not scary at all
nothing interesting or anything other than generic and boring and completely predictable
you need to watch more movies, especially horror movies if you genuinely think this piece of shit is good
It's the best "tomb raider" move so far. They captured the essence of getting lost in unknown ruins with some mystical forces from the very first game.
Yeah all that's true but the setting and atmosphere is so unique that it carries the entire film
Yes you would. Descent is the better film but AASB scratches the same itch
This. They are both very good, underrated films. If you have any claustrophobia, these films will frick you up for a night
It doesn't get much praise. It has an internet cult following but is mostly forgotten
What this guy said
It's got plenty of flaws (namely stupid acting and epileptic camerawork) but it's a very fun adventure/horror flick.
You should check out grave envounters 2
Nice, I find that one to be an underrated sequel.
the cult thing at the beginning when they were going down was kino
moronic ending
Give me some good horror movies. It feels like I've watched most of them. Especially on Netflix I've seen all the good ones.
The Blair Witch remake was actually reasonably spooky.
>inb4 shit acting
If you're looking for good acting in horror, you're delusional.
Haven't seen that, will check it out
Also
>Savageland
>Something in the Dirt
>Troll Hunter
These don't seem scary
Savageland is.
The other two maybe not scary but still good (Troll Hunter is awesome).
>zombies
>scary
pick 1
it was alright. very goofy
The worst horror movie I've ever seen
Ashley Greene is an expert in terrible horror movies.
Watch some ZZZ-grade horror and it'll make that look like Psycho.
>scariest file I've ever seen
>go camping in the desert
>nobody brings a gun, knife, or anything that resembles a weapon
Frick right off. I'm tired of this shit.
It's decent. I think more than anything it gets carried hard by it's setting. I can't think of any other movies that feature the Paris catacombs despite it being such an interesting place.
I am the penis
wtf why do they have skeletons in the walls
>black cameraman brother gets killed off without a backstory
how come everyone else got to like face their ghost of christmas past
Wasn’t it implied that he impregnated a white woman and then abandoned his would be family once she told him?
mutts law
It’s literally in the movie. A white woman carrying a baby jump scares him which causes him to fall down the hole.
Its one of the cultists he saw earlier. No need to bring your Black obsession into it, Johnny.
More likely the baby represented him, the white woman's sin and the source of his mortal grief
Nah, bro knew he was cornered by his ex and would have to pay alimony, so he did the next best thing and jumped. A true example to his community.
are you serious? This is in the actual movie? Top kek
what the frick i had to go back and look but you're right
this polish girl at my job recommended it to me. thinking of watching it just to impress her.
Kind of funny the black guy's sin is abandoning his white gf and there child. Filmmakers are pretty cool imo.
>that moment in the beginning where they cross that gap of bones and end up at the same place
I thought that was the entrance to hell, it wasn't and they never bring that shit up ever again.
Black guy sin was abandoning his family. The other girl’s sin was abortion (violence.) The French dude’s sin was leaving his friend to die. That’s it.
Paris Catacombs is a great setting for a horror movie
>still no release date for Infested/Vermines
It's supposed to be the best spiderkino in decades free it already out of festival circuit shit reeeeeeeeeeeeeee
