Ezra didn’t rob anyone. He trespassed into a neighbor and family friend of 18 years’ place to borrow cooking wine for his mom and the neighbor got scared and called the cops because he thought Ezra was gonna grab his gun and shoot him. Which is understandable, but it was more of a misunderstanding than grand theft, people act like he broke in and stole valuables. The neighbor left his door unlocked often and Ezra had gone there to borrow things before.
Honestly as a prequel to Depp’s Wonka it could work

I rarely have an opinion about performances in movies and I don't know the first thing about acting, but timmy chimmy has always stood out like a sore thumb in everything I've seen him in. He is not convincing in Interstellar, The King and looks ridiculous as Willy Wonka. It was especially difficult buying him as Paul in DUNC because I've read the books and now how much of an edgelord the character turns into. From the trailers it looks like this guy is really trying to force that image but I just don't buy it
