Yep. It's exactly what I imagined he'd look like.
It’s the multiverse, why wouldn’t there be a black kang
Why is the main one we're introduced to black? Why couldn't he be Egyptian, or Arabic or a talking lizard?
>>Why is the main one we're introduced to black? Why couldn't he be Egyptian
Anon, I…
Not to be that guy but kang looks so fricking stupid. Doesn’t the one in the comics where a mask? Why can’t he? Not being racist but nose and lips are extremely exaggerated
He looks like a racist caricature
Did someone not realize how stupid his features make him look?
Did Marvel ever realize how stupid Kang looks in the last 60 years? He has an odd helmet that I could never figure out if it was his face or just some mask. and an armored silk smock-shirt thing.
>The heroes beat the villains... again.
Frick even when Infinity War had an inch of a twist everybody's first thought when seeing it was that they're bullshitting us and hat everybody was just teleported to another universe or something.
What kind of edgy moron watches action movies hoping the bad guys win?
There are multiple Kangs and they probably won't even win.
someone didn't see the leaks
Kang looks like the fan mockups so, he's ok I guess. Not a fan of Scott's new suit, liked the old one better. Cassie looks how I imagined a MCU Stinger would look like and I fricking hope that Wasp's costume is yellow and not that drab gold.
His lips and his nose are too fricking big.
HAHAHAHA
Big homie.
KANG GANG NOW IS OUR TIME
Seriously, who's behind the current Marvel's posters? One thing is paying them low and the other is for them to bring up pure shit. I've seen fanmade stuff better done than this.
It's not really a movie poster per se, just an art mockup of the concept art for the movie.
It's done by Andy Park who's done stuff for like..every marvel movie and project.
Kang looks weird. They should've just made it a full face mask instead of making him blue
>As Scott's idol status keeps growing, he loses sight of what's important and misses Casey's graduation. To fix things up he proposes a journey through time with the whole family, but he never never expected Casey's boyfriend, Victor, to be no other than Kang the conqueror, who kidnaps her into the quantum world
Oh shit, sounds good.
>they recast Cassie as a blue-eyed. blonde girl just to have her date a blackwashed character
YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP
Yep, Feige did Emma Fuhrmann dirty. And not how I'd do her dirty either.
Feige is creatively bankrupt so that's no suprise. Who'd they blackwash?
>get cast in the biggest film of all time with the expectation you'll play the character in subsequent films
>get dumped in favour of some generic Disney channel girl for no good reason
Oh my god yes
Where'd you get this synopsis? I can't find it anywhere
his ass
His daughter is getting blacked? You actually can't make this shit up
Fun fact but Ant-Man is the only MCU hero that has fought against all the black superheroes.
He didn't fight Valkyrie or Monica
>Women
>Heroes
Pick one
Iron Lad is a villain?
I like that the Wasp costume is more yellow now
I wonder if Stinger will fly or grow
You what what’s really dumb? This movie will set up the Young Avengers more than Kang.
Kang on the poster reminds me of picrel.
>Have cute child actor that is good and well liked by audience
>recast her with some nobody so you can toss her on the young avengers shit they're planning despite the fact that the original actress will be nearly an adult by the time the fricking thing starts production
>replace that nobody with some disney b***h that blows(probably literally to get into the movie)
Why did they do this.
She was on Pokémon movie and that made money so they cast her as the new Cassie.
>She was on Pokémon movie and that made money
It didn't. The sequel and the other Pokemon films it was intended to launch were cancelled.
So many black actors and they chose the one with the biggest nose, it's more funny than anything else.
>Stinger instead of Stature
Of course they took the laziest option
(OP)
Forget Kang, what the frick are Scott and Cassie's suits?
Scott's suit is the A&W suit with more obnoxious greeble on it.
Cassie's suit is just a dull copy of Hope's first suit with Converse's added to remind everyone she's a teen. So stupid.
Hope's suit is at least largely the same but with brighter colors and in inversion of pattern on the ab armor.
It was going to be lazy either way. At least with Stinger they put in the effort to recolor a suit for her.
I agree, the previous suit was perfect as "Modern version of Hank's Cold War costume" They just changed it for the sake of change.
There's not much of a big difference, they pretty much do the same. (The Stinger suit a bit more since she can fly and has blasters)
The movie is called Quantumania, she was always going to be Stinger (or Stinger-like, if they ever even give her a hero name). I seriously don't know why anyone was assuming she'd be Stature, given how long we've known the movie's title.
>"They're going to introduce a hero famous for growing giant into a movie that is obviously about shrinking down to the Quantum Realm."
Plus, the MCU typically introduces heroes in a form similar to their current comic's counter-part (eg. Carol was Captain Marvel from the start, she didn't start as Warbird or Miss Marvel; they ran with Scott Lang as Ant-Man rather than reverting back to a young Hank character; etc). Cassie has been Stinger in the comics before the first Ant-Man movie even released.
>They just changed it for the sake of change.
To be fair, it'd be really weird if the suit never changed between movies. It makes sense that the suit he got in the first Ant-Man was some half-finished version of Hank's old suit that he had been occasionally working on since his Ant-Man days. But since Scott has actively taken up the mantle (along-side Hope), you'd expect that they'd all be constantly upgrading the thing. It's fine to quibble on the design choices (
complaining about greeble), but I don't think it makes sense to criticize the fact that the suit continues to change.
Yeah makes sense that the suit would evolve with time, it's just that the new design feels really unispired. Certain parts look a bit like Hank's Quantum suit from AM&TW and that's fine, the chest area is where I have the most problem with.
They showed a trailer and Kang says
>"You're an Avenger? Have I killed you before?"
Great line actually
I hope they really play with the idea that the Ant-Family just stumbled upon a cosmic big bad and he doesn't sees them as a legitimate threat. Maybe they don't fully win but they might earn his respect/sees them as a potential problem in the future.
I think they are aware that this seems to be a ridiculous matchup. Supposedly Kang in the trailer basically says to Scott "I don't even remember you as one of the Avengers that I already killed"
Does his suit need to be redesigned in every single movie he appears in? Including Avengers and Captain America sequels?
I really miss the leather and brushed steel of the first suit. It actually looked like something different from the standard MCU vertical lines on the legs stuff everyone else has.
So they all have Iron Man shoulderpads and the circle on the chest.
Scott living the life after Endgame
Scott does sounds like the kind of guy who would monetize the hell out of his super hero fame.
Can't blame him, he had it tough after his jail time and I imagine that after the snap, his small business venture got screwed.
On Ms. Marvel they mention he has a podcast about super heroes.
MODOK is in
-side (you)
Kino
What the hell is Scott going to do against Kang? Isn't this guy Thanos but stronger? Ant man can't really do much of anything to him
Go up his butthole?
MODOK is the main villain, but yeah he'll probably get his shit pushed in.
>inb4 they sorta win but Kang kills Cassie
>Scott gets his rematch in Avengers 5
>Dies but Kang revives Cassie
I could see that, they just swap the order of events and is Kang instead of Doom
Ant-Man is one of the most OP characters in the MCU. The frick you talking about?
Pym Particles are OP as frick with their max potential
Can't Kang just have one of his scientist-lackeys give him whatever new Pym-Particle-derived tech has been made in the subsequent eight hundred years?
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
heh
did they hire that hack Bosslogic guy to make this? looks like an fanart
