Overrated but not slop. It’s a movie trying to capture the feel of Silence Of The Lambs and failing. I don’t know what it is about Silence Of The Lambs but no other movie has captured the same feeling but Se7en really tried and despite it not recreating the Silence Of The Lambs feeling it sort of made its own Se7en feeling.

It's kino, but it is overrated. Freeman is always fine, Pitt is kino, and that homosexual rapist Spacey is kino.
