I really hate it how every piece of western media has to have the protagonist be a demigod son of Zeus and the antagonist be Hades or Ares. It’s moronic and so shows such a lack of understanding of Greek mythology. Sky man good, sky son is Jebus, afterlife man bad, war bad.
It was fine once with the Hercules cartoon.
You can easily make Persia the enemy. The Persians of 2500 years ago don't exist anymore. Their religion doesn't exist any more. Their government doesn't exist any more.
blurring the lines between comedy and tragedy is a reemerging artform, but this show just isnt that, it will never be an epic as any greek show should be
There' a recently released vidya game, Hades 2, whose protagonist is the daughter of Hades. The previous game's protagonist is a son of Hades. And while Hades is portrayed as a stern figure with a severe outlook, and in the first game fills an antagonistic role, he is not *villainous* or *evil*.
(Well, I say "released". It's early access.)
This is to say that there is at least two recent pieces of western media in which your complaint is not fulfilled. I do not know if the gameplay or story will be to your tastes, but the two games exist.
There’s also the first Percy Jackson book, in which Hades is framed by the real villain, Ares. I didn’t read the rest, but I know there’s a son and daughter of Hades who are semi-protagonists at certain points. Point it, that guy is lazy and makes broad statements to cover for his lack of knowledge.
>Cinemaphile
>cartoon actually has good art it must be anime!

Blood of Zeus season one was a slideshow.
Also, it’s abundantly obvious you’re the same ESL who made this thread yesterday.

It’s mind boggling because ares is like one of the only dudes who isn’t a prick or rapist kek. Sure he kills people but whatever.

Name five straight White male protags in the last 5 years
Why are they so hot
Ok, I admit that they have good designs.
They are fricking hot, but I'm always sad when men lack nipples.
