If you've actually given this any thought, like I have, you'd realize that due to things like major increase in security cameras, better methods of tracking people such as mobile phones, better DNA detection and such make serial killing completely unviable. You leave a single stray hair, or hell even a skin flake at the scene of a crime and you're done. If you only kill once then you do have a pretty high chance, but two or three murders and your rate of being caught in this day and age is fairly high.
I'd say the best thing to do is just have a nice day, as you'll never truly be happy
I can get away with murder relatively easily where I live, is not sure thing but is also no absurd, I know plenty of people that "vanished" because shady business, entire families actually. Either way, What I would be doing is not exactly murder, is more a form of transformation, I would make those people live forever using my methods, in a more sane society I would be a hero, but I don't expect normies to get it.
But I thought about the DNA and identification also, I was thinking of moving away to a small city in an isolated place, close to the ocean, like an island or coastal city. I was also thinking of relinquishing a lot of my humanity too, like grafting a mask into my face to be never removed and never removing a full body suit and burning away most of my hair as covering my body in a few cerimonial tattoos. So I'm not sure those things would be a problem but would cause a lot more problems I'm sure.
I'm not really worried about the details either way, If things are meant to be they will fall in place. One thing I learned is that you don't make plans because this word will make sure to destroy every single one of them, you make prayers and pray anyone is listening to them.
