Didn't know these were coming out weekly, I'm glad you posted this. There's a really nice meditative feeling to Sassy's series. The flying sequence in which he skims just above the grass was the most perfect replica of flying in dreams that I've ever encountered.
They're derived from comics he made in highschool to make his mates laugh. Big Lez and Quinton were based on a friend and his dad. Sassy's voice comes directly from a laid back surfer dude he knew. The creator is entirely self taught, and was apparently a huge fan of Lost. He made his art with zero pretensions and with no hesitation. It also had a healthy degree of self awareness. My favorite character is Crazy Steve.
I like his stuff like but the spiritual and alien stuff is so borderline newbie entry levels it kinda hurts me to watch it
like does he really think the ufo's are all from outer space and not multidimensional being crafts or even our own?
>You and I are just a little speck compared to what's going on out there >And don't worry, mate >No matter how small or insignificant that might make you feel >You're still amazing
Pretty refreshing compared to the constant stream nihilistic bullshit you get with most adult animation.
I wonder where Donny went after Sass fell asleep. He'll now have millions of years of experiences while Sass just slept through everything and time travelled.
>He'll now have millions of years of experiences while Sass just slept through everything and time travelled.
Great way to still make him an older figure even if Sass is like his father or something.

Scarnon?
actually great
Waifu material?
Nah mate. Shes a frickin mermaid.
Nice girl, hope Sass sees her again.
Her voice made my pp hard
T. Auscel
Zeke?
How are these literal ms paint scribbles so much better than any current western "professional" ongoing show?

not to mention doing drugs to become spiritual/monkeys ate shrooms and become intelligent theory
Stop overthinking it and just enjoy the experience.
Ya frickin drug addict
badoing badoing
Mate, he totally got me with that, 100% thought that the sloth was meant to be Sass and the aliens would turn him into an uplifted immortal.
Exactly. Subverting expectations done right.

Choomah Island 2 did have the most profound moment in animation history, where Lez finally realizes he just wants to be happy(by killing Norton).

>think the sloth is Sassys ancestor or something, but then Donny is just already walking around being a fricking druggy millions of years ago
Kino as always.
