This would probably take off if this was a comics board.
SHAKARA
She had no fricking business being so thick in 2001
compensating for the lack of nose
She has big breasts too.
SHAKIRA
It’s so funny to me that he CAN talk but instead chooses to larp as a Pokemon 90% of the time.
Shakara has to remind his victims why he's sharakaking. It's his thing.
unironically autism, he has no experience with social settings and really doesn't interact with people beyond killing them as his entire purpose in life is murder.
Probably wants to ensure the last thing his kills hear is the name of their destroyer before they're viciously ripped asunder
Murderbot goes on a galactic rampage to take down the tyrannical empire that murdered his creators. There's a deeper story, but it's sandwiched between lovely depictions of gore-filled rampages through crazy scifi civilizations and armies being turned to gristle by the self-titled Shakara. It's fun.
>Murderbot goes on a galactic rampage to take down the tyrannical empire that murdered his creators
This is pretty much my Determined Exterminator's backstory in Stellaris.
Chrysalis on r/hfy is a similar concept too except the murderbot is a little bit bigger
Lets say... Shakara has some interesting twists along the way.
I genuinely love how this story just tells humanity to frick off, like I wish more stories had the balls to just focus on aliens on their own
Yeah. Earth blows up on the first page. You think the astronaut is going to the POV protag that is used to explain everything. Nah he dies on page 3.
Are there a single design in Shakara that doesn't go fricking hard?
so wait, what is this
SHAKARA
Murderbot goes on interplanetary rampage for reasons explained later. Published in the same magazine as Judge Dredd.
a 2000AD strip
Recommended reading order/collected editions?
its a pretty straight forward story anon, read from the beginning and end at the end.
SHAKARA!
Publication order, there's only five stories, nowadays collected in two graphic novels:
>Shakara
>Shakara the Assassin
>Shakara the Defiant
>Shakara the Destroyer
>Shakara the Avenger
So you're aware, there's a very early collection harback book that's just called Shakara, which only has the first story.
Thanks
We need more hyper focused murderer men as protagonists.
This stuff is beautiful. I haven't seen so much work put in a comic since Deff Skwadron. American comics are the laziest crap.
yeah Henry Flint is a good artist who I think is basically exclusive to Rebellion he never migrated over to doing Big two work or even independent stuff like some 2000AD guys do
Brit comics really are at their best when doing esoteric weird sci fi shit
What is this?
that wasn't too bad, bit silly but still
SHAKARA
This part genuinely hit me in the feels
I am thinking of making a Storytime for shakara around early marchFrom what I am aware, there hasn't been a Storytime for Shakara since 2016 so it is high time for it to resurface again
Go for it, anon
having anything storytime from 2000AD would be a nice change of pace from the general Big Two books and Transformers
THE FRICKING DINOSAURS
