The running theme is underestimation and overcoming seemingly impossible odds. His foes are now more like fricking Ultraman monsters or Angels, but he continues defeating them anyways. This gets to the point where they basically cease everything they're doing with humanity and throw everything they have at him at once. But he just keeps winning, to the point where he's standing on top of a literal mountain of Kaiju corpses by the end.

Making Gamera's foes incredibly creepy is something I'd put extra emphasis on. For example
