That's exactly what it was. Luke literally repeats Yoda's "The Force is strong in your family.", and both Luke and Leia have it. That's how he reveals it to Leia. The Force was never something "dude everybody can do this lol".

He's talking about low-level force stuff like using it to improve your aim. Actual force techniques like telekinesis is shit only people with jedi training or high midi-chlorians can do
This thing wa explained better both in the cartoon shows and in the novels. It's not so much the training, the fact that Luke learned enough in four or six months, it's not that strange. Jedi are taken as children to be mentally formed as dutiful, respectful and cosmopolitan people, distancing themselves from temptations. People who are too old are considered unsuitable because they have a harder time leaving ties to their old life.
Imagine if school shooters could shoot lightning and choke people with their minds. The Jedi are helping the galaxy by making sure the school shooters only shoot up their temples.
Everyone has force powers now, didn't you watch the nulogy? It's an innate power that everyone has they just need to channel it, it's a metaphor for something
That's something I never really liked about Rebels. One or two Jedi are enough, no more.
The Jedi works well when he is alone surrounded by characters with different skills.
Because being a gifted artist, mercenary, pilot, rebel, special snowflake culture, and princess of said special snowflake culture clearly wasn't enough.
This and the whole 'Ezra and Sabine are brother/sister' thing is proof that Based Filoni is gonna make them happen next season.
We just need to trust the vision.
But why couldn't Ashoka be a completely new show, introducing new characters and sending the heroine into a new context? It bothered me to see all those characters arriving without even a real introduction.
They killed Ciubekka because he was literally the only character they were allowed to kill. I mean, at a certain point some butthole actually came along and killed him because "he could".
EU was really full of rubbish.
That's not the point. The point is third-rate writers who come from nowhere and start making disasters with historical characters because they have no ideas. What happened with Last Jedi and Rise, more or less happened in the EU too with how they treated Jacen and how Mars Jade was literally killed out of spite.
I'm not interested in those characters, but only in highlighting how the EU has had similar problems.

>Shitty rip off of Anakin's story
Far be it from me to contradict you, but Star Wars was intrinsically linked to the concept of having to face your own demons and very often fail. It's not because Anakin is there that now any story where a Jedi falls is a rip off of it, on the contrary, it has always been a fairly concrete threat also in terms of frequency to the point that you don't even need to have a Sith around for it to happen.

>It's not because Anakin is there that now any story where a Jedi falls is a rip off of it
Perhaps not, but I remember that sentiment almost word for word to describe the Darth Caedus arc. I was a late comer to the EU and actually read LOTF before the NJO series, so the supposed character assassination of Jacen at the end of the NJO didn't really bother me as much as it did a lot of people. But for a lot of people the entire second galactic civil war that caused Jacen to fall felt like a shittier version of the clone wars.

It's funny to me how people retroactively treat the EU as a single beloved entity when at the time it was a hotbed of shitflinging and argument and sometimes near-unanimous disgust. A lot of EUgays loathed Darth Caedus in general. I didn't care much for Star Wars novels and still don't, but I definitely remember it. There was a time when the novels were the most important Star Wars content out there next to the movies.

One of many reasons the entire Chosen One prophecy was moronic.
Shin is a completely wasted character
They had several chances at developing her and her master, their views on the force, the empire, the jedis
And they did NOTHING, in favour of more dumb meaningless scenes
In an entire season they did exactly 0 character work, Sabine is the only one with goals/personality and she's fricking awful and doomed the fricking galaxy for a single guy.
Andor in a season established like 20 characters in full, with motivations, struggles and personalities, what the frick is Filoni's excuse?
>brings back the greatest living threat to the galaxy >acknowledged in a throwaway line and never again
Is writing really so hard that you can frick up million dollar projects one after the other and get away with it?
Maybe I am overestimating my abilities but I genuinely feel like I could do a better job than that homosexual Filoni with ease
homosexual's unironically gonna pull out that thing where George tells Kasdan that anyone can learn to use the Force (no matter that he changed his mind later, in the same thing he also says Yoda is just a rando Force guru, not a Jedi)
Didn't refresh before posting, we've got one homosexual here doing the exact thing

Her using the Force doesn't bother me. What I find odd is her ever wanting to become a Jedi to begin with. The idea of a character that doesn't have much intuitive success with the Force struggling to become a Jedi is cool, but it's stapled onto Sabine in a very clunky way. It's still somehow the most compelling part of Ahsoka in my opinion, though that's not saying much at all since the show sucked ass.
In the Book of Boba Fett, when Boba used his EE3 blaster to laser off the young Ben Solo’s penis and burn it down to just a half of an inch, the force from his penis blew out into space and entered Sabine Wren, who was nearby at the time.
Kyle is the DOOMguy of Star Wars.
He bodies Darktroopers, killed a bunch of Dark Jedi, he is Luke’s top saber combat instructor, and beat Boba Fett one time in a fight. He has a cute Japanese wife, too.
That’s just Kyle.
Kyle started out as a video game protagonist.
Later works like books and comics expanded on his character. He isn’t a Gary Stu.
But due to him being a video game character made in the 90s his progression as a Jedi is remarkably fast since it happens over the course of a single game. However, in later games and stories he does lose his connection to the force for a while and has to work hard to get it back.
he's a videogame protagonist that basically ignores any internal logic or worldbuilding of star wars in order to power up whenever the gameplay demands it
at first he was the protagonist of an FPS game so he was good with guns
then the studio wanted to make a lightsaber game so he suddenly became force sensitive and could swing a lightsaber like he'd been doing it all his life
then the studio wanted gamers to have sith stuff like force lighting as well so they made kyle an enlightened centrist who can be both jedi and darksider at the same time etc
the games are decent but it's always moronic when people try to pull kyle into canon discussion because he's clearly ill suited for that, he's just a vehicle for gameplay
He's the protagonist of the Dark Forces series. In the first game he was like a Han Solo character, very rough-and-tumble with a dark backstory but some good in him that ultimately leads him to make the right decisions. The conclusion of the first game suggests he may be Force Sensitive, and in the second we find out that his father was actually a Jedi and that he was slain by a Dark Jedi who is after a secret nexus of Force energy called the Valley of the Jedi. Kyle finds out he is Force sensitive and gradually either chooses to be good or evil with varying endings, but the canon one is that he defeats the Dark Jedi and then builds a monument for his father.
Essentially the series shows Kyle as a more level-headed Han, as he has all the sardonic wit that Ford carries in the trilogy but with a larger number of games where he's become more of a standard Jedi that shows restraint and calm as compared to his backstory and the bits shown in the earlier parts of the first games. He's been featured in a number of games, but he's a fan favorite because he's more colorful and his voice actor delivers lines in a cool way.
>but he's a fan favorite because he's more colorful and his voice actor delivers lines in a cool way.
he's mainly a fan favorite because a bunch of kids played the games he's in during their formative years
who does she learn it from
and to be honest luke wasnt very strong he did like a mind control and a little choke and then got his shit kicked in and then did some high ground moral shit and then vader killed palps
lol no the VA confirmed that this is just a taste of what's to come an is doing voice work for another project. She's going to live all the way past the battle of Endor and outlive Obi-Wan and Yoda.
It's a show about discount Delta squad from the republic commando game from years ago, except with "clones" that are all quirky and unique, up to an including a full on troony child.
>chuds complain when a female character can use the force without training >they also complain when a female character can use the force AFTER training a lot
We got a show full of cute girls fighting each other and the literal homosexuals on Cinemaphile still found a way to b***h about it. I’m starting to think it’s just jealous trannies shitting on this show. Sure it’s slow and mediocre overall but I don’t get how people get so fricking mad about it.
The only problem I have is that it draws too much on Rebels and other past shows instead of being it's own story that allows even for those who know nothing about Ashoka to get to know the character with real start. Literally the last episode of the show I was like… why the frick is this scene so important? Ah wait... is Erza really that central? Oh? Okay...
star wars died with the force awakens
the moment harrison fords geriatric ass came out on the falcon and was like its true all of it star wars died for me
The fact that there are no White men in the trailer is an indicator these days of poor quality from Hollywood.
In most cases it indicates a story written by a room full of ideologically motivated hacks and diversity hires more interested in pushing a message than telling a fricking decent story.
The absence of Whites itself isn’t the real problem, although yes, it is a problem too.
I have to say that the sequence with the Jedi children where 80% are girls and 20% are males from various minorities made me laugh a little because it is so honest in its desire to do activism.
At least there are TWO Aliens... in a room mostly made up of humans.

Tem Morrison is half White and half Kiwi. Māori to be precise.
Bad Batch is the exception to the rule that I brought up. It’s good because the people writing it actually gave a shit about writing a fun story. It just so happened that all of the clones were copies of a half-White half-Māori character. It’s incidental; it isn’t a deliberate decision of some moronic leftist hack who can’t write for shit excluding White people just to spite Trump voters and push a message.
Luke >buying power converters for farm work is the only time he gets to see his friends >gets pushed around by thugs at a bar and has to be saved by an old man >gets hand chopped off >can't lift X-Wing >would have died on Hoth if Han didn't find him
Anakin >slave boy >mom gets raped and murdered >gets hand chopped off >gets everything else chopped off >bossed around and manipulated by Palpatine most of his life >gets hand chopped of for the third time

Didn’t he start off with a very obvious crush on her which grossed her out
Also after that zero-chemistry reunion scene it’s time to bury any hope of them ever getting together
They were just friends. I wouldn't even really call them best friends
Their friendship was still strong enough that Sabine would risk everyone in the entire galaxy to reunite with her platonic friend
Sabine Wren was a trained Mandalorian versed in basic Mando combat, an explosives expert, an expert marksman, a super talented engineer that no one could copy, a talented repair technician that is able to repair anything like ship engines and weapons, is able to defeat Clone Wars veteran Mandalorian soldiers like Gar Saxon in 1v1 combat, attended in the Imperial Academy, was a fantastic Tie fighter pilot, designed a super weapon (without any help) that baffles other Imperial/Rebel/Mandalorian Engineers, was a famous Bounty Hunter throughout the Galaxy and had other Bounty Hunters owe her favors, is able to wield a lightsaber without the force and fight Jedi 1v1, comes from a famous Mandalorian family (which is basically Royalty) and was a well known Galactic Artist because of her famous art......all before the age of 14 years old! And now she's a Jedi and Force sensitive. Even surviving getting stabbed by a Lightsaber.
I've worked on various sets in LA for 10 years now and just knowing the type of people, I'm almost certain they have. Actresses are the most sex-crazed people on the planet. Their on-screen chemistry is way too strong for them to not be fricking in real life
I don't think Filoni could write the relationship well. but if he could it would redeem the show.

Any fictional world that has a "lore" to preserve quickly fades into meaningless repetition.
Whatever spark of fresh creativity it had in its first iterations, its completely gone now. The fanatical consumers will ignore or outright hate any attempt of originality.
Therefore, the company has just one form of keep milking the IP: bland, safe spin-offs armored with The Message to protect the thing from criticism.
Star Wars and plenty other fictional worlds are dead. Nothing can be done to ressurrect it.
Rebels starts out that way but the later seasons get hard core. It’s the same with Clone Wars. Season one had me bored to death and it was all kiddie shit about Padme and Obi-Wan and R2D2. The later seasons got hardcore with stories about clones fragging their Jedi general or General Grievous genociding a village of dark force witches.
>Rebels starts out that way but the later seasons get hard core.
I've heard people say this a lot (dude these animated shows get HARDCORE!) about TCW and Rebels but it rarely ever ends up being true, it's mostly people insecure about liking something meant for the family audience so they try to frame it as mature. Like in Rebels the fandom keeps pretending that Chopper is some super violent killer robot and that's why Rebels is mature, when the apex of the droid's violence is opening up an airlock to eject some stormtroopers and that episode's content is still aimed at the family audience.
You should measure a show's maturity based on its tone, its emotional content and whether it's something kids would have more difficulty emotionally processing or understanding. You can show me a moment when a clone trooper gets impaled on a lightsaber but if the scriptwork for that episode is that of a silly romp with saturday morning cartoon tier sensibilities, then it's not mature or hardcore it's just insecure. An episode of Star Trek TNG where the characters just peacefully sit around arguing about the morals of something will end up being far more mature, despite having 0 violence.
Almost all Star Wars entertainment (with very rare exceptions) is definitely something that is intended to be watched by 12 year olds.
Lucas and Spielberg both have the philosophy that “no matter how old you get, you always wanna watch the kinds of things you wanted to see when you were 12.”
I don’t disagree. As they also say, “12 year olds are smarter than you give them credit for.” This is why the “muh space wizards story written for children” defense of TLJ was always fricking moronic.
It isn’t “for children”; it’s for 12 year olds and up, and by the time you are 12, unless you’re fricking moronic, you have a good grasp of what is good entertainment and what isn’t.
By the time I was 12 I was enjoying classics like the original Star Wars, the Alien movies, Carpenter’s The Thing, Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Exorcist, etc…
Yeah some of those are R-Rated but R-Rated doesn’t somehow automatically make something better. You can have quality entertainment and have it be rated PG-13 or even PG.
indeed, I think children deserve effort in their storytelling. The entertainment they consume when young and impressionable shapes their minds and ideology. Hollywood knows this all too well and they have used it to disastrous results.
I really hated TFA and I was so hyped I saw it at midnight alone because no one wanted to see it with me. It was over when Disney shut down Lucasarts and declared the entire EU non canon
>they couldn't just let her be a cool elite mando who's a bit quirky >nooo she has to gobble up Ezra's plot and literally copy his character arc because god forbid a man is allowed to be unique >and she's gonna be better than him in every way while he's reduced to a baffoon
glad I walked away from this garbage
I don’t think they ever made Ezra into a buffoon.
He could be a bit goofy like Rober Downey’s Iron Man or Holmes, but he was entirely competent in Ahsoka and was definitely the better Jedi than Sabine.
Sabine has never come off as “elite” to me; as a Mandalorian she has never hit even close to the level of Din, who is an expert manhunter, or Boba Fett, who is a walking, flying artillery battery.
As a Jedi she’s nowhere near Kenobi, much less Vader or even Maul and Ahsoka.
She’s the “Jack-of-all-trades but master-of-none” character and I honestly like that about her.
by having above normal mandalorians but below normal jedi and doing years of training until it eventually became usable. Can you not follow a simple plot?
That's the plot point for S2. It will be revealed that Anakin and Ahsoka had children but Ahsoka decided to hide them and send them away, and they will come into play as adults in S2.
When the frick could they have had kids? We have a full record of her from the time she met Anakin to Order 66 when Anakin’s dick got incinerated and never once saw her looking pregnant.
Tbh it would be interesting if it went that route. They’d have a lot of backstory to cover, though. We’d need a flashback to the moment when and why Anakin decided to betray Padme.
>We’d need a flashback to the moment when and why Anakin decided to betray Padme.

People don't remember it, but even the EU had become a sewer where all the writers had their own pet character.
all comicbooks are like this. that's why nobody reads them.
EUtrannies will never accept that except for a few books it was all slop
This except for the few books. Even those were only readable to an IP nut. Disney did nothing wrong before they did.
They killed Ciubekka because he was literally the only character they were allowed to kill. I mean, at a certain point some butthole actually came along and killed him because "he could".
EU was really full of rubbish.
>Ciubekka
>nooooooo every character must live to 200 and die jerking off to holoporn like in the canon Holiday Special
>Ciubekka
>Mars Jade
Stick your phone up your ass, get a job and buy a computer, you sexless fricking NEET.
>Mars Jade
You're right, but I laughed anyway.
>Mars Jade
>>Mars Jade
>Jacen
Shitty rip off of Anakin's story
>Mars
Karen Travis didn't even know who the hell she was killing off, just needed a name to chuck in between her Mandalorian circle jerk chapters.
Actually Jacen didn't piss me off nearly as much as how much of a moron they made Han in those books.
>muh Corellian heritage!
There was a time when the novels were the most important Star Wars content out there next to the movies.
>always been a fairly concrete threat also in terms of frequency to the point that you don't even need to have a Sith around for it to happen.
One of many reasons the entire Chosen One prophecy was moronic.
luke never used the force until he was like 19. who cares
You can be force attuned and not a Jedi. I'm one with the Force; the Force is with me.
Only if you're asian though
Chirrut very explicitly couldn't use mind tricks or move objects with the force. At best he had some precognition
by the power of the pussy
By being cute...i hope Shin would molest her next season.
Good morning saar!
Shin is a completely wasted character
They had several chances at developing her and her master, their views on the force, the empire, the jedis
And they did NOTHING, in favour of more dumb meaningless scenes
homie it was the first season and they probably didn’t even think it’d get a second
Now it’s confirmed so we’re definitely gonna see a lot more of her
In an entire season they did exactly 0 character work, Sabine is the only one with goals/personality and she's fricking awful and doomed the fricking galaxy for a single guy.
Andor in a season established like 20 characters in full, with motivations, struggles and personalities, what the frick is Filoni's excuse?
Shin goal is to rape Sabine, what more do you need?
gay
Good morning saar
>ITS OKAY WHEN LUKE DID IT BECAUSE IT IS ALRIGHT!
Luke did it before midichlorians, they’re the real problem that shit was stupid
the sheer power of feminism
>brings back the greatest living threat to the galaxy
>acknowledged in a throwaway line and never again
Is writing really so hard that you can frick up million dollar projects one after the other and get away with it?
Maybe I am overestimating my abilities but I genuinely feel like I could do a better job than that homosexual Filoni with ease
>this latina duck coming to destroy your fragile ego with a look
I haven't watched any nuwars, but she really doesn't have the right aesthetic vibe, even if she has the mandalorian armor
wish I could frick her in her pretty little ass
Stop posting pictures of my wife.
>She can use the Force now? How?
force is female
all females have the potential
whether born female or just assigned it at birth
>force is female
>a slogan for a line of women's shoes dedicated to Star Wars that generate all this mess.
the force is cute
Star Wars is a show for women now. Move on
I actually like her better with short hair. She looks adorable
Her stupid hair dye didn't look like a popsicle when it was short. They should take this millennial shit out of Star Wars already
I was actually upset when she cut her hair in Ahsoka. Long hair Sabine was hot
she would be hotter without the trashy dyes
But short hair Sabine is hotter.
I simply disagree
Female Ezra Miller
homosexual's unironically gonna pull out that thing where George tells Kasdan that anyone can learn to use the Force (no matter that he changed his mind later, in the same thing he also says Yoda is just a rando Force guru, not a Jedi)
Didn't refresh before posting, we've got one homosexual here doing the exact thing
Well, sure you can stamp your feet all you want with your headcanon, but he's still the creator, you are just nameless gays.
He created midichlorians moron
The creator has not been on your side for 20 years, nameless gay.
wow that armor looks like a halloween costume
>Luke, when I die the last Jedi you will be
>Except for maybe another 150 or even 200 others who are arguably even more powerful than you are
I think he meant the last living jedi knight
He can still train others
And the dozens of Jedi just off screen for Luke to run into...Jedi Vader and the Empire didn't find in the 20 years they were looking for them...and who didn't bother to join the Rebellion and stop the evil that is the Sith, but who all show up after the end of the Empire.
Vader already killed them all. That's why Luke's the last Jedi. Anyone else is just a force-sensitive.
>Except for maybe another 150 or even 200 others who are arguably even more powerful than you are
imagine missing the point of Luke this hard
Now that the Bad Batch is talking about midichlorians again I think Filoni has a waifu problem and just wants every cute girl to be a Jedi
>and just wants every cute girl to be a Jedi
If he just had the balls to come out and say it I would respect him for his creative vision of infinite force catfights.
why arent you watching the superior star wars show, bad batch?
at least it doesnt have dumb retcons for the sake of OC donut steel or a protagonist who cant emote at all
Omeega is teetering on the line of being an annoying Mary Sue but we'll see what they do with her
O-mee-gah is the perfect daughterfu
She's technically actually big sis
no, my daughterfu
Pedophile
How can anyone use the force?
George and the CGI cartoons say you need midichlorians. Disney live action says "just be yourself :)"
>George and the CGI cartoons say you need midichlorians
See
Her using the Force doesn't bother me.
Ahsoka pushing her to be a Jedi and Sabine not really caring one way or the other about it is extremely clunky writing
>it is extremely clunky writing
Don't care, didn't watch, I'm just here for the autistic sith waifu.
high midichlorian count
In the Book of Boba Fett, when Boba used his EE3 blaster to laser off the young Ben Solo’s penis and burn it down to just a half of an inch, the force from his penis blew out into space and entered Sabine Wren, who was nearby at the time.
It's only okay when Kyle does it
who is kyle and what does he do
He's Doom Guy but Star Wars
Kyle is the DOOMguy of Star Wars.
He bodies Darktroopers, killed a bunch of Dark Jedi, he is Luke’s top saber combat instructor, and beat Boba Fett one time in a fight. He has a cute Japanese wife, too.
That’s just Kyle.
Damn EU is cringe gary stu soi content and would have been just as bad or worse than what disney gave us
Kyle started out as a video game protagonist.
Later works like books and comics expanded on his character. He isn’t a Gary Stu.
But due to him being a video game character made in the 90s his progression as a Jedi is remarkably fast since it happens over the course of a single game. However, in later games and stories he does lose his connection to the force for a while and has to work hard to get it back.
>has to work hard
runs an obstacle course exactly one time.
He was doing one armed handstands while floating boulders, 2 at a time
Players couldn't get a drink at the table
haha Extended Universe is fricking TRASH
>what does he do
everything
welcome to a day in the life of a jedi
Andor can borrow Kyle's blaster but it's still Kyle's blaster
he's a videogame protagonist that basically ignores any internal logic or worldbuilding of star wars in order to power up whenever the gameplay demands it
at first he was the protagonist of an FPS game so he was good with guns
then the studio wanted to make a lightsaber game so he suddenly became force sensitive and could swing a lightsaber like he'd been doing it all his life
then the studio wanted gamers to have sith stuff like force lighting as well so they made kyle an enlightened centrist who can be both jedi and darksider at the same time etc
the games are decent but it's always moronic when people try to pull kyle into canon discussion because he's clearly ill suited for that, he's just a vehicle for gameplay
He's been featured in a number of games, but he's a fan favorite because he's more colorful and his voice actor delivers lines in a cool way.
>but he's a fan favorite because he's more colorful and his voice actor delivers lines in a cool way.
he's mainly a fan favorite because a bunch of kids played the games he's in during their formative years
>his father was actually a Jedi and that he was slain by a Dark Jedi
You mean by Vader?
Our mom says Kyle is a real sex machine.
DID SOMEONE SAY
Cute?
stinky Sith pussy
Sexy totally not Exile pussy you mean. Shin and Balen are discount Meetra and Revan
she downloaded the app
I believe Kathleen Kennedy did say the force is Female.
Don't make me protect that b***h, but no, she didn't say that. It was the slogan of a promotional campaign for women's sports shoes.
Didn’t she wear it on a shirt?
>someone makes fun of Disney
>mouse trannies start seething about the EU
lol
Luke learned it at 19, why does this trigger you tards so hard.
who does she learn it from
and to be honest luke wasnt very strong he did like a mind control and a little choke and then got his shit kicked in and then did some high ground moral shit and then vader killed palps
reminder that she returns to star wars in less than 2 days
And she'll be dead by the end of the show. Actually everyone except for Omeega and Rex's crew will be dead by the end of the show
lol no the VA confirmed that this is just a taste of what's to come an is doing voice work for another project. She's going to live all the way past the battle of Endor and outlive Obi-Wan and Yoda.
lets hope she meets obi-wan again
Coomers get the rope
Her voice is pure sex. Same Voice actress that voiced VV in Vtmb
I always just hear Mandy
Who's that
From Grim Adventures. Her voice is everywhere it's hard to not hear it
In what, Bad Batch? Genuinely asking, I have no idea
It's a show about discount Delta squad from the republic commando game from years ago, except with "clones" that are all quirky and unique, up to an including a full on troony child.
Okay but I'm asking where Ventress will be
Yeah, sorry I'm a moron that can't read I thought you were asking what bad batch was. Honestly that other part is news to me too.
>so obsessed with trannies that he thinks actual women are trannies
>it's ma'amdalorian chud!
yes, in bad batch
Disney is getting a little too comfortable using my favorite special snowflake yellow lightsaber color with everyone
shes had yellow for almost a decade
I didn't know she was in the old EU past the Clone Wars
she wasnt, her last on-screen appearance was in the final episode of TCW season 5, and then she was in Dark Disciple where she got killed in 2015
There are some mary sues/gary stues that are fun thougheveralbeit
light side/dark side being inherent parts of the force and not methods of its use is what ruined star wars
I Love Northern Exposure! I wondered what Janine had been up to.
>chuds complain when a female character can use the force without training
>they also complain when a female character can use the force AFTER training a lot
The eternal chud.
She was never force sensitive to begin with.
Oh? Okay...
Ahsoka wasn't unwatchable like Acolyte is going to be but it still wasn't great
>acolyte is unwatchable!
>hasnt even released yet
whats next, you gonna mention how theres no white men in the trailer and thats bad?
Disneyshills are so weird man.
star wars died with the force awakens
the moment harrison fords geriatric ass came out on the falcon and was like its true all of it star wars died for me
I feel like the CGI cartoons still have the pre Disney Star Wars vibe
The fact that there are no White men in the trailer is an indicator these days of poor quality from Hollywood.
In most cases it indicates a story written by a room full of ideologically motivated hacks and diversity hires more interested in pushing a message than telling a fricking decent story.
The absence of Whites itself isn’t the real problem, although yes, it is a problem too.
They look like actors who would be in tv commercials
I have to say that the sequence with the Jedi children where 80% are girls and 20% are males from various minorities made me laugh a little because it is so honest in its desire to do activism.
At least there are TWO Aliens... in a room mostly made up of humans.
>The fact that there are no White men in the trailer is an indicator these days of poor quality from Hollywood.
>In most cases it indicates a story written by a room full of ideologically motivated hacks and diversity hires more interested in pushing a message than telling a fricking decent story.
>The absence of Whites itself isn’t the real problem, although yes, it is a problem too.
heres a star wars tv show with no white guys as the main cast
but oh wait, you conveniently forgot about that didnt you?
It's okay because it been established for two decades that the clones are aboriginals.
Technically I'm not sure if they should be classified as human.
The clones are kiwis, not whites.
anon if you cant read just say so
you're a barely literate moron. he said not including white people in the show was a symptom of mental moronation and not that the show will be shit because there's no white people.
I don't have high expectations, but I expect Acolyte to be better than Ahsoka was.
girl power.
>most of the people still watching this shit are the same people b***hing about it
Worse than Blizzardgays
I pirate all of it so disney is not benefitting from me
I also just b***h about it meaning I don't think I even count as marketing
Negative attention is still attention
Why are half white half Asian girls so fricking cute. She's almost as cute As Maria Zhang. I want one.
she's not half white. she's half-Italian
The power of Woke is stronger than the force and because reasons.
it's fine when the mary sue is a straight white man
This, but without a hint of irony
Luke
>buying power converters for farm work is the only time he gets to see his friends
>gets pushed around by thugs at a bar and has to be saved by an old man
>gets hand chopped off
>can't lift X-Wing
>would have died on Hoth if Han didn't find him
Anakin
>slave boy
>mom gets raped and murdered
>gets hand chopped off
>gets everything else chopped off
>bossed around and manipulated by Palpatine most of his life
>gets hand chopped of for the third time
>oh naur ahsoker
the force is female, chud
Or maybe it's a father with a daughter and a son.
>homies still arguing about star wars in 2024
really?
Did she ever have feelings for Ezra? ist was subtly hinted that he liked her or at least was very concerned about her when she was in trouble.
Never seemed romantic or anything but they were friends
Nah, he had a crush and she was mostly humoring him, by Ahsoka they made a point of telling the audience they see eachother as siblings.
>subtly hinted
Even surviving getting stabbed by a Lightsaber.
she sounds pretty damn cool, what show is she in?
cute!
yjk
you think they.... you know...
I've worked on various sets in LA for 10 years now and just knowing the type of people, I'm almost certain they have. Actresses are the most sex-crazed people on the planet. Their on-screen chemistry is way too strong for them to not be fricking in real life
imagine the smell
The blonde used to hang out with Kate Mckinnon...so...
Ahsoka sucked but the girls were mostly cute
me in the back (I fricked both of them)
Cuter
You just know...
Theres zero chance that Filoni didn't already told them be prepared to dykeout in S2, theres no way thats not already on the line.
I don't think Filoni could write the relationship well. but if he could it would redeem the show.
Its SW...they are totally gonna team up to fight whatever bs Baylan, recasted of course, lets free on the planet and then kiss in the dark or something like that.
Thats gonna be the entire 'romance'.
I'm envisioning some setup where they hint that they possibly kissed at some point but never show it
>le blue and orange color scheme
This director was most definitely a fricking hack
sabine's actress was posting lesbian fanart to her ig, I don't think Disney would let that fly
>I don't think Disney would let that fly
Disney probably encourages it, because it acts as advertising among the gay spaces, while giving them plausible deniability as a company.
I don't think in this case its like that, i think that from the get go both actresses were told that if they were to have a romance in the show it would be between them, theres no way she would be allowed to post that otherwise.
simu really weasels himself into everything doesent he
I’m sorry but I can’t fricking stand most lesbians unless they’re republican.
To each their own though.
I wish Star Wars chuds would just move on to Star Trek or Stargate. Your constant whining about women was stale 9 years ago.
Do people actually still watch this shit?
Star Wars died with Return of the Jedi.
This is the moment this show got me.
yeah, is that an E-wing?
Of course
If anyone can use the force then why didn't every planet in the galaxy train an army of force users? Imagine having an army of a million jedi.
>the year of our Lord + 13
>still watching any Star Wars involving Filoni
I
Shiggy
Diggy
I'm astonished they aren't just bleeding money at this point. Never thought any media company could waste an IP like star wars so badly.
I dunno if anybody here watch the Pacific Rim sequel, it was mid but kinda trashy fun, but Shin's actress had such strong chemistry with the jailbait mech girl...that said so did John Boyega and Scott Eastwood, now that i think about it Pacific Rim mind sharing robotshit is gay af...
it's just because shin's actress is a high-vibration person (and she's actually decent at acting)
This just confirms that Kanan was a really, really shit teacher if Ahsoka could turn her into a knight like 20 years later by mostly ignoring her.
Because she trained for it.
>nooooooo the Force should be only for special boys like myself
She force pushes someone so they jump further not nearly as bad as Rey defeating Kylo in the first fight, also Sabine is actually cool unlike Rey
>Sabine is cute unlike Rey
ftfy
SEXO BETWEEN SABINE AND SHIN!
Soon, brother, soon. Filoni won’t disappoint.
Rebels was pretty well liked it was the last Jedi when fans started to abandon Star Wars
Rebels is a cartoon for 7 year olds.
It was over when Disney shut down Lucasarts and declared the entire EU non canon
mandachlorians
Ahsoka was so bad but I didn't notice how bad it was because of all the cute grills
Ahsoka was pretty good for the first 6 episodes, then it jumped the shark in the last two. Still better than Book of Fat Bob, Kenobi and Mando S3.
she looks like she needs to do a facialabuse scene
Why did she do it bros
>they couldn't just let her be a cool elite mando who's a bit quirky
>nooo she has to gobble up Ezra's plot and literally copy his character arc because god forbid a man is allowed to be unique
>and she's gonna be better than him in every way while he's reduced to a baffoon
glad I walked away from this garbage
I don’t think they ever made Ezra into a buffoon.
He could be a bit goofy like Rober Downey’s Iron Man or Holmes, but he was entirely competent in Ahsoka and was definitely the better Jedi than Sabine.
Sabine has never come off as “elite” to me; as a Mandalorian she has never hit even close to the level of Din, who is an expert manhunter, or Boba Fett, who is a walking, flying artillery battery.
As a Jedi she’s nowhere near Kenobi, much less Vader or even Maul and Ahsoka.
She’s the “Jack-of-all-trades but master-of-none” character and I honestly like that about her.
shut the frick up nerd. do not reply to my wife's boyfriend again.
she's very pretty
They've smelled each other's buttholes. I know it.
by having above normal mandalorians but below normal jedi and doing years of training until it eventually became usable. Can you not follow a simple plot?
What could have been.
That's the plot point for S2. It will be revealed that Anakin and Ahsoka had children but Ahsoka decided to hide them and send them away, and they will come into play as adults in S2.
When the frick could they have had kids? We have a full record of her from the time she met Anakin to Order 66 when Anakin’s dick got incinerated and never once saw her looking pregnant.
his dick and balls were the only intact part of him tho
After he caught fire it probably looked like a burnt hotdog. I question if it still functioned.
Any time in Season 5. She would get noticeable belly and know she's pregnant only months after Order 66.
Tbh it would be interesting if it went that route. They’d have a lot of backstory to cover, though. We’d need a flashback to the moment when and why Anakin decided to betray Padme.
>betray
It was just a casual stress relief after one of many battles. Padme would understand (and encourage) it.
>We’d need a flashback to the moment when and why Anakin decided to betray Padme.
"Luke, did I ever tell you about Ahsoka Tamo, your father's exotic teenage alien apprentice..."
https://sfmcompile.club/ahsoka-tano-didnt-stay-true-to-a-jedi-way/
Ahsoka did leave the order.
Maybe she ended up getting boned by Boba Fett for all we know.
Jedi can frick. Just no attachments.
wait for next 2 or 3 projects to flop and we will get a show about it
