I think that’s actually slightly unfair. Balkan men are not necessarily always the most handsome but usually look like normal-ish though with noticeably sharp facial features. Genetically they’re a mix of Slav and “Illyrians” who were close relatives of other Mediterranean peoples from antiquity. It’s the Russians who are usually the least attractive amongst men.

dogs can only be onset for like 2 hours max, same with horses and shit. they are hard to direct, and usually end up with boring shots where the animals eyes are focused to teh trainer on set, and just looks weird and off.
