i feel as if the people complaining about the videos not accurately representing early 2000s flash games either didn't watch them or noped out after about a minute. historical inaccuracy is the least of this series' problems.

it would have been cool if jay was one of the first to show up during the makeup minigame, before anything started going wrong. and only later on once shit has hit the fan do you realize that these are all corpses, and you remember jay, and connect the dots yourself about jay being fricking died.
It's really dumb and it reminds me of the fan-made creepypasta videos people would make for stuff like Pokemon Lavender Town, Ben Drowned, or the Tail's Doll. For Lavender Town specifically, I remember people making shitty sprite edits and animations that attempted to mimic in-game footage, but you could always tell what was edited in post because the PNGs were always cleaner than the footage recorded. That's sort of the only appeal this series has for me. It's kinda' shitty, but it's sincere.
I would recommend watching some of ghosttundra's other shows since their quality isn't impeded by digital/analogue horror's requirement to mimic a media format or be horror in the first place. Imigrantes Road is very charming with a fun mixed media style that works for it (rather than against it like in Lacey) and the characters have cute banter about weird shit.
